《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 824. The Incredible Shield

Yellow Crane Tower was not standing very far away from Ming Du, and he came right in front of Ming Du in a flash. Ming Du moved in a flash too as he stopped at the edge of the arena.
Yellow Crane Tower originally wanted to follow suit but he suddenly remembered what Lucifer said. Therefore, he stopped moving forward.
Ming Du was planning to trick Yellow Crane Tower into coming to the edge of the arena but Yellow Crane Tower did not fall for it. Ming Du waved and slashed his staff into the air. A slit of light appeared from his chest and formed a ray of light which went straight towards Yellow Crane Tower.
That was [Lightning Flash], Lightning Magic Attack level 40. It could shoot lightning with super high level of penetration that could attack all enemies who were lined up in one line.
Yellow Crane Tower raised his shield, and absorbed the Magic Attack again. After absorbing [Lightning Slash], Yellow Crane Tower’s shield shined even brighter.
“Aiyo, not a bad shield!” Ming Du smiled and said.
Normal shield did also have a defence against magic attacks so shields that could block lightning was not rare. However, [Lightning Flash] was a group attack skill and when compared to single attacks, it had more power. Yellow Crane Tower’s shield not only blocked [Lightning Flash], there was also no drop in its Hinder Points. This shield was really something else.
“Hehe, it’s still not too late to surrender!” Yellow Crane Tower proudly exclaimed.
Ming Du smiled and replied, “Be careful when you are using it, don’t spoil my shield!”
Ming Du had always been very interested in things that were not his compared to the others from Quan Zhen Sect. Others would at least bother to fight for them, but he would call them his even before fighting for them.
In between his words, Ming Du quickly used an earth-shattering magic attack on Yellow Crane Tower.

“Hmph!” Yellow Crane Tower raised his shield in front of him and replied coldly, “Before you say any big words, consider if you have the ability to do it first.”
Having had four lessons previously, Yellow Crane Tower would not dare to fight with close proximity to Ming Du. However, the shield was indeed too powerful as it could absorb all the attacks that Ming Du used. Both players were at a state of confrontation.
This situation was actually a lose-lose for both ends, Ming Du was hit by the shield’s absorbed lightning during the first round and had his HP halved. If this continued, he would definitely lose after the time was up.
In contrast, Yellow Crane Tower had it easy, he knew that if Ming Du continued to use his magic attack, he would use up his MP soon. Once wizards used up their MP, they would lose no matter what.
At this moment, Ming Du suddenly stopped his attack.
“What is going on, are you surrendering?” Yellow Crane Tower asked in provocation.
“Shit, I haven’t seen this kind of turtle shell before!” Ming Du sighed and said, “Okay, I surrender for this match!”
After saying that, Ming Du walked to the edge of the arena and jumped out of it.
“I won!”
Seeing Ming Du surrender, Yellow Crane Tower let down his guard and smiled with satisfaction, putting down the shield in his hands.
Just at this moment, Yellow Crane Tower looked down and saw a beam of white light on his body. He lost gravity suddenly and the next moment after he realised what had happened, he was already on the floor outside of the arena.
“???!!!”
After seeing where he was, Yellow Crane Tower was stunned, and his expression turned into confusion and anger.
“Hehe, sorry about that…” Ming Du squat down at the side of the arena and said while Yellow Crane Tower was still in confusion, “Didn’t know that you were so stupid, didn’t we agree that the loser would be a b*stard, did you really think I will surrender?”

“F*ck your mother!” Yellow Crane Tower shouted from the bottom of the arena while being moved out.
For this round, Team A Murder of Crows won with a whopping score of 5-0, and all of Team Satan was being thrown down the arena.
This made the audiences gasp in amazement.
The audiences watched the entire competition as they concluded that amongst all of them, the only two that showed superb strength were Boson and Yang Nuo. Wang Yu’s performance was just a flash in the pan and only won with a dirty trick.
Compared to Team Satan who had hard skills, Quan Zhen Sect’s wretched people, who only knew how to play tricks in the dark, just seemed a little weaker.
Hence, most of them expected Team Satan to win which was why nobody expected Team A Murder of Crows to be this strong in hard skills too.
They threw their opponents out of the arena for 5 matches in a row. Such a performance proved that there was no luck in play. The audiences really did not know how to react to the match.
Damn, these guys had the capability to crush their opponents completely but chose to use tricks and refused to put in the extra effort. These guys were too disgusting.
“F*ck! These trash, they are too treacherous!”
After the first round, Lucifer realised that his opponent was not normal people, and started looking serious.
“Looks like we have to use our ultimate move! Areca, how many Five Thunder Fruit do we have left?” Lucifer asked Areca solemnly.
“Five Thunder Fruit?” Areca asked shockingly, “Didn’t you say to only use it during the professional league?”
Lucifer replied, “I can’t be bothered anymore. If we don’t use it now, we won’t have a chance to use it anymore.”
After one round, Lucifer had a good gauge of everyone’s ability from Quan Zhen Sect. As compared to them, Team Satan did lack a bit but it wasn’t too much. Hence, if they wanted to win the competition, they had to rely on external weapons.
“Not much left. We only have sufficient for one set for each match.” Areca replied with lingering fears, “These things cost too much to produce, we used all our resources from our storage for half a year to make these.”
“Those are enough.” Lucifer nodded his head and said, “Distribute 1 set for each person. I don’t believe that we can’t beat them.”
To defeat people from Quan Zhen Sect, Lucifer and his men put effort in their weapons.
“Hey, did you guys see that shield? Should we make it ours?” Ming Du stepped down from the stage but still could not stop thinking of Yellow Crane Tower’s shield.
He couldn’t help himself because no Magicians would not be interested in that shield.
“Why would a Magician need a shield?” Wang Yu asked bewilderedly.
Ming Du replied, “Little Crotchy can use it.”
“For Little Crotchy?” Wang Yu stroked his chin and said, “Thinking of others? This is not like you.”
“Of course, I would do anything for you guys,” Ming Du said shamelessly.
“Is that true? Why can’t we seem to believe you?” Everyone curled their lips, “Are you a fake Ming Du? Old Bull, hold him down. We need to investigate.”
If Ming Du died for everyone, that would not be strange, but regarding a top weapon, it was obviously all talk.
“Okay!” Wang Yu laughed and pressed Ming Du down to the ground.
Ming Du shouted, “Stop it, I am being serious. Don’t you think that when this kind of weapons lands into the hands of our players, it is advantageous to me?”
“Oh!” Everyone smiled thoughtfully, “Mm, this is the real Ming Du.”
