“Ke ke ke… Look at all of their names, so lofty.” After seeing the names on the big screen, Wang Yu couldn’t help but smirk.

Regardless of the abilities of the players in Team Raptors, their names itself were all exquisite. Gold, iron, silver, bronze, fire, wind, thunder, lightning. It was obvious that they are from the same gang.

Quan Zhen Sect, on the other hand, had names like Ming Du which had no meaning at all, Spring Halo which had a random “Halo” inside for no reason, and Fearless, which was a name in its own category. They seemed like a random group of players instead.

The rest were not bothered with Wang Yu’s comments on the names, rather, they were all stroking their chins and frowning.

At this moment, the order of the players to be sent to the arena has been decided. For Quan Zhen Sect, the respective job classes were Priest, Magician, Shaman, Assassin, Pugilist.

Team Raptors’ order was: Magician, Assassin, Archer, Priest, Pugilist.

As a Priest, Fearless was not capable of combat. Bullying ordinary players would still be possible given his skills. However, when dealing with experts, it was a little too much to expect from him.

“Our chances of winning this round are slim,” Spring Halo commented while rubbing his chin.

Fearless calmly replied, “This is still within expectations. So long as everyone gives it their all, even if we were to lose all 15 points to them, it’s alright, since we have the next round as a guarantee. Don’t place too much pressure on yourselves.”

“Fearless, that mindset of yours is extremely risky,” both Vainglory and Frost Blade retorted.

Fearless replied, “Then what do you want me to do? Do you want me to give you trashes a military order to follow?”

Upon hearing the two words “military order”, both of them immediately changed their attitude and said, “Exactly. Don’t be stressed out, everyone. We just have to try our best!”

At the same time, War Is Peace was giving a pep talk to his followers, “We have already lost the previous round, if we were to lose this round as well, we would have no hope of salvaging the situation. Thus, everyone had better do their best this time around.”

“That’s easy! Remember how Old Jin lost? We should just…” War Is Peace smiled and explained the battle plan to his followers.

Before War Is Peace could finish explaining his plan, everyone gave him a look of disdain and said, “Wa, Seventh brother, you are shameless…”

War Is Peace replied, “All of you don’t know sh*t! This is called a battle strategy! All of you better remember this and don’t start acting on your own, understand?”

“Understood!” Even though everyone criticised how shameless War Is Peace’s battle strategy was, deep down, they were in admiration of it.

After explaining his plan, War Is Peace patted Gone With The Wind on the shoulder and said, “Little Wind, you are the key to this plan. Make sure not to cock up alright?”

“En, I understand.” Gone With The Wind nodded energetically, acknowledging the responsibility of the task that he had been assigned to do.

The five minutes rest time flew by in the blink of an eye. The very first player to fight from Team Raptors, Open Fire, started selecting the map for the fight. Following War Is Peace’s battle plan, Open Fire chose the map “Jungle Land”.

Seeing the map that was selected, Fearless’ heart skipped a beat. Clearly, Team Raptors weren’t so useless after all…

Jungle Land, as the name says, is a map forested with trees. It was easy to set up ambushes in this map and it was best suited for mobile fights. Thus, the map was advantageous for Assassins and Archers.

Among the ten players, Quan Zhen Sect only had Frost Blade, who was relatively inferior compared to the rest and who was an Assassin. The opponent, however, had both an Assassin and an Archer. Clearly, the players from Quan Zhen Sect were going to be live targets.

If the enemy Archer started to kite the Quan Zhen Sect players, the Quan Zhen Sect players that mostly did not possess teleportation skills would be helpless about it.

After Open Fire had selected the map, both parties were teleported to the battleground.

To ensure fairness, apart from the two players that were battling, the other players that were chosen were sent to the border of the battleground as substitutes.

The first two players up on stage were Fearless and Open Fire.

Similar to the Singles match, the duration of this fight was 40 minutes as well. If by the duration was up, the victor will be decided based on who has the higher percentage HP.

Even though the area of the Jungle Land wasn’t small, the position at which both players were teleported to were fixed and were no more than 20 metres apart, such that both players could see each other clearly.

Otherwise, with such a big map, the only thing both players would be doing during the 40 minutes duration would be finding their enemy.

Open Fire was an ice-based Magician. The specialty of ice-based magic was in its ability to deal continuous damage with chain skills.

War Is Peace’s idea of not clashing head-on with the opponent applied more towards combat job classes like the Assassins or Magicians. As for Fearless who was a Priest, Open Fire wasn’t stupid to the point where he wouldn’t even dare to fight him head-on.

The moment the timer started, Open Fire immediately dashed towards Fearless. As he ran, he formed an ice spear and threw it towards Fearless.

“Crap, Open Fire can actually cast spells while on the move?”

At the audience stand, the live battle could be observed clearly. Seeing Open Fire form an ice spear while dashing towards Fearless, everyone could not help but gasp in shock.

Everyone there knew that when a Magician does the incantations for a spell, the incantation will be interrupted the moment he moves. Thus, Open Fire’s ability to cast an ability while moving defied the logic that they were familiar with.

Upon witnessing this, Fearless was momentarily stunned as well. An expert truly was an expert; any weird form of combat techniques could be created.

As he was capable of casting while moving, Open Fire naturally chose the path as a control and kite Magician, and had added some of his attribute points into agility. Even though the damage output of his spells was lacking, the moment the enemy was caught in his spells, it would be hard to escape.

In the blink of an eye, Open Fire had arrived near Fearless. With a wave of his hand, the ice spear was thrown at Fearless.

With a turn of his body, Fearless hid behind a nearby tree.

“Kacha…”

The moment Open Fire’s ice spear came into contact with the tree, the tree instantly became frozen.

Before giving Fearless a chance to catch his breath, Open Fire dashed the sides a few steps and gained vision of his target once more. Promptly creating another ice spear and throwing it at Fearless.

Once again, Fearless dodged it.

“Kacha!”

The second ice spear pierced the ground, promptly covering the ground with a layer of ice.

Making full use of this opening, Fearless waved his staff and shot a ball of [Sacred Ray] at Open Fire.
