“That’s right! I initially thought that that bunch of people were as good as the rumours say they were. Clearly, they are just trash that thinks too highly of themselves. Seventh brother did not even have to do much to annihilate that brat from Quan Zhen Sect.”

The players from Team Raptors kept on praising War Is Peace, insulting and degrading Quan Zhen Sect at the same time. War Is Peace, however, wasn’t feeling happy about his victory. Frowning, he said to his other team members, “It isn’t as simple as it seems.”

“Seventh brother, you’re thinking too highly of them. Their reputation is merely a farce,” Flag Bearer Little Fly mocked and said in frustration. He was gloomy as he did not understand why War Is Peace treated those random ordinary players as experts.

War Is Peace replied in a serious tone, “No, even though I managed to kill that brat easily, his skills were pretty decent. Furthermore, he was merely the first player sent from the opponent’s battle team. Apart from us, you guys should know the role of the first player sent from each team in a competition like this right?”

Only War Is Peace understood the capabilities of Vainglory as he had previously exchanged blows with him. Ignoring everything else, solely looking at Vainglory’s ability to cancel [Crushing Fist] mid-cast and following up with a [Lateral Kick], it was clear that the brat’s reactions were abnormally fast. At this moment, a looming figure, holding onto an Obsidian grade shield and heavily equipped with black armour, stood up and said, “Since that’s the case, I shall bring peace of mind to Seventh brother in the upcoming match.”

“En! Old Jin, you must be careful!” War Is Peace nodded and said.

“Don’t worry!” the burly fellow replied.

Vainglory’s ability among the players in Quan Zhen Sect wasn’t the weakest. After witnessing Vainglory getting played so badly, the pressure on Frost Blade, who was up next, was greater.

The hand that was holding onto his dagger was starting to sweat too.

Winning was a given for the players from Quan Zhen Sect. If he were to lose here, Frost Blade would be looked down upon by the other players from the sect, similar to Vainglory’s current predicament… However, Vainglory was still a child. After all, in a large scale battle, an Assassin like Frost Blade couldn’t do much and could only focus on increasing his chances of survival.

“Golden Big Bird? What kind of bullsh*t name was that?” Wang Yu mocked, after hearing what Darknorth Fisher had said.

Darknorth Fisher explained, “This man is called Abundance of Gold and his nickname is Golden Big Bird. He is the head of the 12 raptors from the Raptors battle team and is the number one expert under War Is Peace. To think that he would be sent on stage in the second round.”

“There’s nothing that isn’t to be expected. The War guy is rather talented. He probably knows that we plan to lose the battle and win the war in the end, thus he is trying to suppress us in the early stages,” Fearless indifferently said.

“I see.” After hearing Fearless’ explanation, Darknorth Fisher promptly managed to understand the situation. Seems like War Is Peace knew that Quan Zhen Sect was not an easy opponent to deal with, thus, he planned to accumulate small win initially during the single PVP matches to increase the point gap in the earlier stages of the competition.

Fearless, however, shook his head and laughed, coldly adding, “Hehe. However, this brat has underestimated us… In order for him to employ such a tactic, the abilities of both parties must still be similar for it to work.”

A frontal attack was even more out of the question. Abundance of Gold was a Guardian and was equivalent to an iron turtle, same as that of War Is Peace.

Apart from an attack from the back, regardless of any angle, Frost Blade had no way of eliminating Abundance of Gold. Just based on the damage output of a Guardian, Frost Blade would not even have the opportunity to escape.
