Preparing for battle meant settling any personal problems offline as well as choosing 10 players out of the 12 to compete.
Once they received the news, the ten of them except Mu Zixian and Ling Longmeng clicked on ‘Battle Preparation’.
On the End Of The World’s side, 2012 told the two reserved players confidently, “Don’t worry. Watch us take them down within a minute.”
Three minutes later, everyone received the news to start the match.
“The match has begun and it will last for ten minutes. The victor will be the one that exterminates the other team completely. If no team has been exterminated after 10 minutes, the team with the highest points win. If the points are the same, it will be a draw.”
Simultaneously, a white light flashed across the stage as 20 players appeared altogether.
After entering the stage, 2012 didn’t even look at the Quan Zhen Sect before smiling brightly. He let out a smug as he replied, “Haha, you guys are really unlucky to meet us in the very first match… I advise that you better admit defeat.”
“…” Everyone from the Quan Zhen Sect simply stood there in silence as they watched 2012’s solo performance. They were all speechless by what he said.
At this moment, Happy Man Qi gave 2012 a slight tug before pointing at the Quan Zhen Sect’s players who weren’t very far away. “Boss, those guys look very familiar!”
“Familiar? This is a competition. We beat everyone up including people we know!” As 2012 said that, he raised his bow and shot an arrow towards Wang Yu.
As usual, Wang Yu caught the arrow casually in the air.
“F*ck!”
Seeing Wang Yu’s act of catching the arrow in his hand, 2012 and his men were all shocked. They were instantly reminded of a person who left deep impressions in all of their heart.
“Cloth armour, gloves set, big figure, catching arrows…” 2012 and co. shouted in unison, “It’s the Quan Zhen Sect!!”
They couldn’t help it. The impression Wang Yu gave to the first group of players in Twilight City was simply etched deeply in their hearts. Up till today, there were actually players capable of deflecting arrows using their weapons. However, to be able to catch arrows in their hands… 2012 and co. actually met two…

One was Evil Rampage and the other was Wang Yu.
“Eh? Your memory is pretty good ah!” Fearless smiled as he looked at 2012 and said, “To think you still recognise us!”
2012 frowned after seeing Wang Yu. He said, “We are all from Twilight City so how can I not recognise you guys? Why aren’t you guys at the PVP Arena straight? What are you doing here?”
“Going there straight is much more tiring. In comparison, don’t you think the team selection competition is much easier?” Fearless smiled as he replied.
Who was Fearless? In just two sentences, he was able to tell that 2012 wanted to depend on his team strength to rise above all the other useless grassroots.
After all, every top player belonged to some big guild. As long as it was big guild, they naturally wouldn’t resign themselves to being useless grassroots. As compared to the cruelty of the PVP Arena, the team selection competition was much easier.
Who knew that they were so unlucky to meet a team who shouldn’t be participating through this channel?
Hearing what Fearless said, 2012’s frown became more serious as he responded, “Aren’t you bullying others?”
Fearless coughed as he replied, “To enter a competition, our guild sent almost all our players here so who do you think we can bully? Speak! Do you want to surrender or do you want us to attack?”
“I…” Before 2012 could finish his sentence, Wang Yu suddenly responded, “He chose to attack!”
As Wang Yu said that, he extended both his left and right arms to grab the collar of two Assassins on the left and right side of him. He instantly kicked them into the state of soul.
F*ck! This 2012 kid was indeed treacherous to plan an ambush while they were talking. When they saw this, Crotch Lord rushed forward to taunt the entire crowd before Ming Du’s magic attacks landed. In just a blink of an eye, 2012 was the only one left in Team End Of The World.

2012 wanted to run when he realised the predicament he was in. However, Yang Nuo raised his bow to shoot an arrow at the back of 2012’s head.
As the leader of their guild, 2012’s body of equipment was actually quite decent. Yang Nuo’s accurate shot did not actually kill him in an instant. Instead, he was only struck into the state of stun. Following that, his body flashed in blue ray as the effect was immediately dismissed. He returned and shot back an arrow almost concurrently.
“Aiya! This kid still has some moves up his sleeves!” To be able to break free from this situation, 2012 really did surprise everyone. However, it was nothing more than a surprise.
Wang Yu waved the back of his hand to deflect 2012’s arrow. Following which, Yang Nuo fired a few more arrows to trap 2012.
“Exterminated. A Murder Of Crows, victorious!”
Following the system’s announcement, 2012 and co. appeared back at their seats with dejected faces. The Quan Zhen Sect was also transferred out of the stage…
“How boring… I can’t believe even 2012 is of such standard.” After leaving the stage, everyone from Quan Zhen Sect was frustrated instead of feeling joyous over their victory.
They couldn’t believe they needed to fight some ordinary players even though they hoped to challenge themselves against the professional experts. They felt no sense of accomplishment even after winning and felt that this broken competition was too troublesome.
Their first opponent was still considered to be a team that was rather capable. The following three matches would be even more boring. One team was exterminated within one second of entering the stage. Another team surrendered when they heard that their opponent was the Quan Zhen Sect… The last team was the worst as the entire team was only left with four players… It wasn’t hard to imagine their outcome.
Just like that, Quan Zhen Sect advanced to the next stage. They hurriedly left the venue, feeling like they just wasted their time.
After leaving the venue, Ming Du suddenly exclaimed, “Eh? I’ve obtained a hidden title.”
“What is happening?” Hearing what Ming Du said, everyone turned to ask. How did Ming Du suddenly get a hidden title while everyone was idling earlier?
Ming Du displayed the notification immediately.
Limitless War (Hidden Title)
All Attributes +1
Can Be Upgraded
Title Description: Only the strongest person is worthy of the strongest title.
All attributes +1? Even though it was only one point, the key was that this title could still be upgraded. This was definitely considered a peak grade title.
“F*ck! There are hidden rewards even in the selection competition?” Seeing Ming Du’s title, everyone was shocked.
Fearless thought for a while before replying, “We’ve already spent 1200 gold. I guess even a title isn’t worth much right?”
How was this a consolation prize?
+1 for all attributes was not considered a lot or very little.
“But why am I not the one to receive this reward title?” Vainglory asked in confusion.
A proud Ming Du replied, “Didn’t you see the description? Only the strongest is worthy!”
“How the f*ck are you the strongest?” Vainglory looked at Wang Yu before looking back at Ming Du.
Everyone looked at Wang Yu in the same way Vainglory did. They were all equally as confused.
Fearless smiled and asked, “How many people did you kill over the last four matches?”
“…” Everyone looked at their points and scratched their nose awkwardly.
Ming Du laughed as he replied, “Hahaha! I’ve killed 20!”
“F*ck! Despicable!” Looking at how Ming Du was acting, everyone clenched their teeth. F*ck! This fella was a Magician with an incredible speed of attacks. How could anyone match his speed in terms of executing skills?
