《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 705. Sit Down And Have A Talk

The commoners of Twilight City were not the only ones. When Sanguine Warflag heard that the Quan Zhen Sect’s headquarters was invaded by Void Blade, he almost lost all hope. However, when he heard this news, he was so excited that he teared up and entered the game immediately.
“How is it? Very exciting, right?!” The moment Sanguine Warflag went online, he received Fearless’ message.
“You know all about it?” Sanguine Warflag was dumbfounded.
“Of course!” Fearless smiled and said, “You really think I cannot guess what you’re doing? But do remember something, our Quan Zhen Sect has done everything but we have never and will never trick our friends…”
“Oh…” Sanguine Warflag replied.
“What should we do now?” Captain Don’t Open Fire was like a startled rabbit. He was frightened and helpless.
In less than thirty minutes, more than one-quarter of their total players left the guild. A great guild was currently left with a thousand men… The remaining players were mainly those who were there since the start of Void Blade.
Of course, it wasn’t as though these old players didn’t want to leave the guild. They had joined the guild from the start so their contribution to the guild was naturally exceedingly high. If they left, their contribution would be cleared. Because of this dilemma, all these old players were hesitating whether to leave the guild or not.
“I… I don’t know…” Big Bear was not feeling any better than Captain Don’t Open Fire. If Quan Zhen Sect’s revenge was according to sequence, their number one in command was already dead. It shouldn’t take too long before they target the number two, right?
Just when the duo didn’t know what to do, Sanguine Rain sent Captain Don’t Open Fire a private message. “We cannot continue this way. Otherwise, the guild will be doomed…”
“Now that we are at this stage, do you have any idea?” Captain Don’t Open Fire asked Sanguine Rain.
“I’ll still suggest the same thing…” Sanguine Rain continued his sentence. “There is a need for us to talk nicely with Quan Zhen Sect.”

“Can we still do that?” After Wang Yu announced the threat, it was clear that he wanted them dead. Captain Don’t Open Fire was no longer counting on settling this peacefully.
Sanguine Rain said, “Of course, you should be well aware of what kind of people the Quan Zhen Sect’s players are. Didn’t you hear them say? Any problem that could be resolved with money is not considered a problem. Even wars between countries were settled with land reparations.”
“Alright…” Captain Don’t Open Fire heard this and immediately opened his friend list to contact Spring Halo.
“Brother Spring, I don’t think there is a need for us to cause such a commotion…” Captain Don’t Open Fire got right to the point.
At a time like this, Captain Don’t Open Fire was truly softened… He no longer had the same confidence he had before.
“En! Makes sense!” Spring Halo replied. “Come to the restaurant!”
“Ok! Hold on!”
The resurrection point was not very far away from the restaurant. Within minutes, Captain Don’t Open Fire brought Xiao Xiang Sword and co. to the restaurant where they saw the members of the Quan Zhen Sect enjoying their wine as though nothing happened.
“He is Captain Don’t Open Fire.” Spring Halo sent a message to Fearless when he spotted their arrival.
“Oh…” Fearless lifted his head to size Captain Don’t Open Fire up before waving to the Quan Zhen Sect. “Make a seat for him!”
The members of the Quan Zhen Sect exchanged glances but their butts looked as though they were stuck to the seats. Nobody moved…
“Big brothers and sisters, please show some face…” Fearless cried out awkwardly in the guild chat.
Yang Nuo was the more obedient one as she stood up to give up the seat. She shifted to squeeze with Ling Longmeng.
“Please take a seat!” Fearless extended his arm to welcome Captain Don’t Open Fire.
Captain Don’t Open Fire sat down but Xiao Xiang Sword and co. were fuming inside their hearts.

These fellas were well-respected everywhere they went but they weren’t even entitled to a seat in front of Quan Zhen Sect.
Sanguine Wolf glared hatefully at Fearless as he cracked his knuckles.
Fearless noticed that but replied firmly, “What are you staring at?! I’m already showing you guys some respect by offering you one seat. If you’re not happy, I’ll find you an opponent. If you can beat him, I will give up my seat for you.”
“…” After being reprimanded by Fearless, Sanguine Wolf no longer had any temper as he lowered his head and shifted to the side.
If Void Blade was capable of defeating Quan Zhen Sect, the people seated here today wouldn’t be the Quan Zhen Sect. Picking a fight now would simply be nothing more than an embarrassment for them.
“Ahem…” Captain Don’t Open Fire coughed as he broke the deadlock before taking out a huge bag of money. Together with the bag of money were two other items as he said in a dispirited tone, “Bosses, I’ve brought everything you guys wanted.”
“What we wanted?” Fearless looked closely at the items. There were the King of Beast Dijun’s head as well as the remnant skill page.
“Frost Blade, keep them!” Fearless ordered Frost Blade, who was not too far away from Captain Don’t Open Fire.
Frost Blade extended his hands to keep the King of Beast Dijun’s head as well as the remnant skill page. He pretended not to have seen the bag of money.
“Boss Fearless, what is the meaning of this?”
Seeing that the Quan Zhen Sect actually ignored the bag of gold on the table, Captain Don’t Open Fire asked in confusion. Didn’t they say that Quan Zhen Sect was filled with greedy people? With that much gold on the table, they didn’t even bother to look at it. They certainly didn’t look greedy.
“No meaning!” Fearless replied, “How much money is on the table?”
“You mean… 100,000 gold,” Captain Don’t Open Fire said.
“Oh…” Fearless nodded and responded, “Hundred thousand gold? I remember when we first discussed this price, I said this was merely compensation for our psychological damages, right?”
“Yes… But you guys were not…” Captain Don’t Open Fire was about to mention how the Quan Zhen Sect was not killed by Void Blade.
Ming Du, who was standing by the side, interrupted Captain Don’t Open Fire’s words. “Mind your phrasing. It wasn’t that we weren’t killed by you guys… The fact was that you guys couldn’t kill us.”
“Didn’t we agree from the start… that as long as we pay up, Quan Zhen Sect could improve our reputation…” Captain Don’t Open Fire said.
“That is not wrong but you didn’t agree to that back then, right?” Fearless replied. “But we are more sincere as we even gave you our guild headquarters to help improve your reputation… Therefore, even if we went back a thousand steps, we deserve this hundred thousand gold…”
“Deserve?” Captain Don’t Open Fire was slightly flustered.
“Yes, this money is to compensate for our mental distress, and we simply left it there for you to keep for the time being. Now that our guild headquarters is gone, how much do you think a headquarters is worth?” Fearless smiled as he asked.
“Guild headquarters?” Hearing this question, Captain Don’t Open Fire finally understood that the Quan Zhen Sect felt that this amount was too little.
“How much do you think is suitable?” Captain Don’t Open Fire asked again.
“I dare not answer this question alone. How about we hear from the rest of the Quan Zhen Sect?” Fearless looked at the rest of the Quan Zhen Sect.
Frost Blade was the first to speak, “We surrendered, and our warehouse was robbed by Void Blade. The medicines and materials inside were worth at least 20,000 gold…”
“F*ck…” Captain Don’t Open Fire vomited blood. 20,000 gold… The warehouse was clearly empty.

Arnar the Dungeon
Arnar is a dungeon core. Everybody knows dungeons are evil, man-eating entities hell-bent on killing and absorbing whatever wanders inside their depths. The problem is no one ever told him that. Now it is too late. He has a perfect plan to become the best dungeon on the continent and nothing will stand in his way. Especially something called common sense. Disclaimer of sorts: I am non-native English writer that used to write mostly for himself. After my last computer decided to die on me taking all my works with it I lost the desire to write for quite a long time. This is my attempt to go find motivation to write again as this was my favourite hobby. The idea is to be held accountable. As for being non-native, I don't believe that should be a major issue as I feel my proficiency in English to be sufficient enough to not be too much of the distraction. That said, be forewarned that the rules governing punctuation are beyond my grasp. All I can do is try not to completely suck at that. As mentioned this is an attempt to motivate me to write again so any message, encouragement or constructive criticism will go long way.
