Seeing that Wang Yu was wiped out, the Assassin’s face turned extremely surprised. After saying that, the Assassin walked forward to pick up the item dropped by Wang Yu. After seeing the attributes, his face revealed another type of surprise.

“F*ck! What just happened? Old Bull killed that b*stard?” Seeing the white light, Ming Du couldn’t help but exclaim before complaining, “Didn’t we already tell him not to kill him? We needed the head.”

The Quan Zhen Sect’s quest good was still with the Assassin. Now that the Assassin was dead, there was no way to find him.

“No, no… Old Bull is the one that is dead.” At this moment, Fearless cried out when he saw that Wang Yu’s head in the squad darkened.

“Old Bull? Fearless, are you joking with us?!” Hearing Fearless’ words, everyone opened their squad list. Indeed, Wang Yu’s head symbol darkened and cold sweat starting pouring down everybody’s back.

“F*ck. This… How is this possible? Uncle Bull lost to that guy?” Vainglory’s mouth was wide open.

Quite a number of players knew how impressive Wang Yu was but only the Quan Zhen Sect witnessed Wang Yu’s true abilities before. This was a person who could solo an Ancient BOSS and someone who was just beating the sh*t out of a BOSS earlier on. How can he be killed in a second by this Assassin? What kind of God is this Assassin?

Fearless frowned. “This Assassin is strong but from the fight with Old Fish earlier, he was merely slightly stronger than Old Fish. There was no way he could be a match for Old Bull. Old Bull must have been plotted against.”

“F*ck! Let’s go avenge Old Bull!” Ming Du shouted as he charged at the Assassin.

“I’ll go too!”

Vainglory followed closely behind.

The others took out their weapons as they followed behind the duo.

At this moment, a few arrows were suddenly shot out from the forest behind the Assassins. Ming Du was caught off guard and got shot in the head as he turned into white light immediately.

Vainglory’s reaction was quicker as he waved his hand and slapped the arrow that was flying towards his head. However, just as Vainglory wanted to change direction, another arrow flew and pierced right through his throat. Vainglory was also instantly killed.

“Not good! There is an ambush! Everyone, hurry into the forest to hide!”

Seeing that Ming Du and Vainglory were killed within seconds, Fearless shouted as he turned to run into the forest. However, he was merely a Priest so there was no way he could outrun an arrow.

After a few steps, Fearless was shot at the back of the head and turned into white light too.

Over a distance of twenty metres, the opponent was still able to hit a moving target’s head. The Archer on the other side was clearly a rare expert.

Quan Zhen Sect was ambushed and the enemies had the first attack. This caught the Quan Zhen Sect unprepared and the moment Fearless was shot, Ling Longmeng and Spring Halo were shot to the ground by arrows too. They didn’t even manage to discern the position of the enemies.

Less than ten seconds later, the Quan Zhen Sect was only left with Yang Nuo.

Yang Nuo was nimble and agile so she managed to dodge every arrow. She even managed to shoot out some arrows while retreating.

When Yang Nuo was about to retreat into the forest, Yang Nuo suddenly felt shivers of cold behind her back. She was instantly turned into white light.

Shortly after that, a grey-robed Assassin appeared.

“F*ck! This lady is pretty fierce! She can even dodge Sanguine Rain’s arrows.” The grey-robed Assassin mumbled as he shouted at the Assassin who killed Wang Yu earlier, “Bloody Sanguine Wolf, why must you run so fast? I can’t believe we took so long to catch up.”

“Hehe! Fortunately, I was fast enough. If I waited for the bunch of you, they would have left.” The first Assassin named Sanguine Wolf chuckled.

“This is the legendary Quan Zhen Sect? It seems like they’re nothing much…” Two Archers walked out from the forest behind Sanguine Wolf as the one in red spoke with a disdainful tone.

“Oh yes, didn’t they say that there is an extremely impressive Pugilist? Why didn’t I see him?” Another short Archer asked.

“F*ck!” Sanguine Wolf replied, “What expert? I killed him so easily.”

“Really? Sanguine Wolf, you’re not showing off, right? I’ve heard that this fella can kill one hundred enemies by himself.” Another Assassin asked doubtfully.

“But I’m not you, Sanguine Thorn. I don’t love showing off as much as you do. Look! This is the victory reward!” Sanguine Wolf showed everyone the skill book.

“Wow! Your luck is pretty decent!”

Everyone looked at Sanguine Wolf with jealousy.

“Right!” Sanguine Wolf said with pride.

The taller Archer looked around before saying, “Alright, let’s go! The Quan Zhen Sect will most certainly be back for revenge. Let’s go find somewhere else to ambush them.”

“What number one guild in Twilight City? They are not even strong enough to handle us.”

As the four of them spoke, they disappeared into the forest.

Just as the four of them left, Fearless popped out from the forest.

Fearless was a scheming fella so when they turned to run, Fearless had already put on invincibility on himself. After getting shot, he released his Sacred Ray before laying on the ground.

The white radiance was similar to the white light when players died. Earlier, the four of them were busy trying to deal with the rest so they didn’t realise.

Fearless looked around and when the four of them walked far away, he executed his flying technique to where Wang Yu was killed. He started chanting with his staff circling the ground.

Following Fearless’ technique, a massive cross descended from the sky and white light could be seen before Wang Yu re-appeared on the ground.

Resurrect: Able to revive an identified dead who died less than a minute ago.

This was a rare skill learnt by Fearless a long time ago. He couldn’t believe that the first person he revived was the most unlikely Wang Yu.

“Phew! Fortunately, I was still on time.” Fearless wiped his sweat off his forehead. If he waited a while more, Wang Yu would have been revived by the system. At that point, Fearless’ resurrection skill would be useless.

“Eh? What happened? Was I controlled?” When Wang Yu appeared, he asked.

After players died, they would be in a state of soul for one minute. One minute later, they would automatically be revived at the resurrection point.

Of course, players could choose to be revived immediately too. Wang Yu never died before so he still thought that he was in some sort of magical skill. Therefore, he didn’t look for the instant revive option as he waited foolishly.

“Control your head! You were killed!” Fearless replied.

“Killed? Not possible? How did I die?” Wang Yu was dumbfounded. He was well and living just minutes ago, so how could he be dead all of a sudden?

Fearless replied, “If even you don’t know how you died, how will I know? Go open and take a look at your battle journal.”

“Oh, right!” Wang Yu nodded as he opened his journal. He flipped to the last message.
