《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 621. Berserk Heavenlaw's Small Tricks

Initially, Berserk Thundergod thought that Moonless Thunder had some meaningful insights. Who knew that the reason why he felt something was amiss was because Quan Zhen Sect was not up to anything bad… This was the epitome of over-worrying for nothing…
After being ridiculed by Berserk Thundergod, Moonless Thunder also felt a little ashamed of himself. Speaking of which, even though Quan Zhen Sect might be greedy, they were also extremely true to their promises thus far. Who knows? Maybe they are all kind-hearted by nature…
At the thought of this, Moonless Thunder’s doubts vanished without a trace.
Half an hour later, Berserk Thundergod brought a large team of players to the library.
Back then, the team involved in the Atlanta’s key quest was formed by Hidden Lurker. Therefore, the current players who were involved in this Atlanta City quest were all former players from United Alliance. Other than Hidden Lurker, who was trapped at the resurrection point, and the unaccounted Nian Liuyun, the majority of the United Alliance’s players with the quest had joined Berserk Heavenlaw. Presently, they had close to four hundred players.
United Alliance was also a large guild in Thunderstorm City. While the players from United Alliance might not be elites like the Berserk Heavenlaw’s players, they were still considered top-end experts among all the other players in >. Moreover, they were all players chosen by Hidden Lurker for the quest previously. Therefore, they must be of a decent standard.
Among the four hundred players, Berserk Thundergod chose two hundred players with the best equipment and skills. This was a good call.
“Aiyo, not bad at all! You guys look quite energetic.”
Seeing that Berserk Heavenlaw had filled up the numbers, the players from Quan Zhen Sect walked out from the library casually and leisurely as though they were leaders of an army reviewing their troops. They walked out with smiles over their faces as they looked at the crowd of players.
“F*ck! Why are they here?” As the crowd saw the players from Quan Zhen Sect, the atmosphere exploded in fury immediately.
Only a handful of the players had fought beside the Quan Zhen Sect, so the majority of people here still treated Quan Zhen Sect as their enemies.

The moment the crowd saw Quan Zhen Sect, each one of them quickly drew out their weapons and got into their battle stance.
Someone even shouted, “Could it be that Boss Berserk Thundergod still have no faith in us? Is this a test for us to prove our loyalty?”
Hearing the ridiculous discussion among the crowd, Berserk Heavenly Thunder replied, “What are you saying? We are going to work with these people for the next dungeon quest.”
“Dungeon quest? With them?” Everyone started making all sorts of noise again. “Aren’t they the enemy? We’ve been killed by them twice… I’ve even lost my lightning bead.”
“I’ve died twice in their hands too.”
“Exactly! You want us to work with them for the next quest? Give us back our equipment first.”
“Why are you guys complaining? I’ve been killed three times and even Wild Thunderheart died four times…” While Berserk Heavenly Thunder was going to embarrass himself by proving a point, he was not going to leave Wild Thunderheart out of this. Wild Thunderheart, who was standing by the side, hid his face in embarrassment.
“Boss Heavenly Thunder, Boss Wild Thunderheart, we will not join the quest if we don’t get our equipment back.” Everyone started shouting.
“Tsk! The two of you better stop adding fuel to the fire!” Looking at how disorganised his men were, Berserk Thundergod started having a headache. It would be considered a blessing if those b*stards from Quan Zhen Sect didn’t plan to trick them. It was simply ridiculous for them to hope that Quan Zhen Sect would return the equipment.
Just when Berserk Thundergod was becoming frantic, Moonless Thunder stood out to respond, “Everyone, listen to me. Everyone should know that what happened previously had nothing to do with us. Moreover, the various Bosses from Quan Zhen Sect were also innocent to be chased by us. Everything was engineered by Hidden Lurker so now that we are all brothers, I hope everyone can forsake any former hatred.”
“Ah yes! Moonless’ words were exactly what I wanted to say.” Berserk Thundergod added as he thought in his heart. “Heh, why didn’t I think of saying all these?”

“Haha! I’m pretty impressed by how quickly that Moonless Thunder reacted to the situation.” Wang Yu smiled as he was truly impressed by how capable Moonless Thunder was. To think that he could easily toss the blame onto the dead Hidden Lurker so quickly.
Fearless replied, “Since Hidden Lurker was already hated by so many people, it wouldn’t hurt him to have even more enemies than before.”
“True.” Wang Yu nodded.
However, a player in the crowd shouted, “The lightning bead is the equipment I obtained when I advanced past level 30. I might not care about the other equipment, but you have to return the lightning bead to me.”
“Yes, and also my +20 lightning attributes ring. It is a peak item that can be used for my entire lifespan. You have to minimally return me that.”
“This…” Moonless Thunder slowly turned his head to look at Quan Zhen Sect. In turn, everyone from Quan Zhen Sect looked at Ming Du.
Ming Du clenched his right fist which had the ring on it as he whistled and pretended to look at the surrounding scenery. He was completely ignorant to everyone’s glare.
Moonless Thunder noticed that Ming Du seemed to have no intention to return the item so he could only reply helplessly, “Everyone, do not be anxious. We are intending to participate in a high-grade dungeon and I am certain there will be many great items inside. How about we let everyone take their pick first once we completed the quest?”
After saying that, Moonless Thunder turned to look at Fearless.
The allocation of rewards had to be decided by the leader. Therefore, Moonless Thunder needed to see what Quan Zhen Sect thought of this plan.
“I have no objection, but I am not the leader ah.” Fearless shook his hand.
“So what does Boss Ming Du think about this?” Moonless Thunder wiped the sweat off his forehead as he asked Ming Du.
Since the proof of entry was with Ming Du, he was naturally the leader of this quest.
“This dog is our leader?” Seeing that the leader of this quest was Ming Du, everyone started feeling infuriated yet again… There were many Magicians in Thunderstorm City while Quan Zhen Sect only had one Magician. During the battle in the forest, many of them died in the hands of Ming Du. To make things worse, Ming Du even had many of the items that were dropped by them hanging on his body at this present moment.
Now that they found out Ming Du was the leader, how could they contain their anger?
“Boss Ming Du, we shouldn’t go against the popular sentiment.” Moonless Thunder continued to convince Ming Du.
“Alright then…” Ming Du sighed as disappointment was written all over his face.
Seeing that Ming Du finally gave in, everyone calmed themselves down. Following which, Ming Du distributed the team leaders according to needs before the players from Berserk Heavenlaw got into the different teams.
Wang Yu scratched his chin as he asked Fearless, “Do you think Moonless Thunder had this planned?”
Fearless smiled as he replied, “Initially, it wasn’t part of his plan, but things fell his way afterwards.”
The hatred that the players felt for Quan Zhen Sect was definitely not a pretence. Moonless Thunder merely made use of this opportunity to get some interest out from Quan Zhen Sect. If even Wang Yu could spot these small tricks, Fearless was naturally aware as well.
“Yet you still allow Ming Du to change the method? This isn’t your style at all.” Wang Yu couldn’t comprehend the reason for Fearless’ actions.
Fearless chuckled. “Hehe. No matter how low-level the tricks of a tricker are, someone will fall for them because he has sufficient temptations. If we do not let these fellas feel they have something to get out of this, how can we ensure that they listen to us obediently?”
“Moreover, they will be the ones fighting the BOSS. All we need to do is to make sure we get the correct coordinates.” Fearless added.
