《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 612. A Favour to Ask For

“Right, what if this can help you become an expert of all the sacred spells? All three of us have a share in this letter. Let’s bid for it.” Fearless and Spring Halo had been in cahoots for years, so he immediately understood Spring Halo’s intentions.
Ming Du was so greedy that he felt that he had lost out. Anyone who did not gain any exclusive equipments felt upset so once they saw what Wang Yu took out, their first instinct was to take all they can from him to minimise their losses.
If it was on usual days, everyone would have contributed and so, it was reasonable for them to earn something. Wang Yu was pretty generous and hence, was not stingy. However, Wang Yu fought alone throughout this dungeon quest. Everyone in Quan Zhen Sect did not help him but instead, only caused more trouble.
Furthermore, while they were causing trouble for Wang Yu, they gained quite a lot of good items. Hence now, everyone felt guilty and did not dare to ask for more. Wang Yu did not have any use for the things the God of Puppets dropped but if Ming Du got this too, it would be unfair. After all, Wang Yu still needed to feed his family so Ming Du had to give up something in exchange for it.
“What’s there to bid! Do you two think I don’t know what you are up to? Who do you think I am? If I still take advantage of this, am I still human?” Ming Du was not stupid. He knew what they meant. As he spoke, he took out a skill book from his bag and said, “I didn’t want it for free at all. Old Bull, how about exchanging it with me for this?”
Intermediate Engineering: Rare skill, after usage, daily skill for engineering will level up to intermediate. Required job: Forgemaster.
“Sure!” Wang Yu quickly replied once he saw Ming Du’s skill book.

Daily skill books were always precious items. “Intermediate Engineering” was a hidden daily skill book and hence, it was more expensive than normal skill books.
Regis’ letter was only a medium for a quest which was unknown and hence, it was naturally way less expensive than “Intermediate Engineering”. Hence, it seemed as though Ming Du did not take any advantage of Wang Yu which was rare for this lad.
Atlanta City’s quest was originally a level 60 guild quest which needed enough people and resources to be 100% completed.
Therefore, this dungeon did not bring a lot of benefits to Quan Zhen Sect. Hence, it can be seen that the > system was indeed very strict. Missions had to be completed step by step. If low-level players wanted to use loopholes and tricks to complete a high-level quest, their rewards would also correspondingly be decreased.
The only thing to be happy about is that Hidden Lurker was in trouble. He harmed Berserk Heavenlaw to incur such huge losses and United Alliance had been disbanded. Even Nian Liuyun had abandoned him. Hidden Lurker was now homeless in Berserk Thunder City.
Berserk Heavenlaw had taken in many United Alliance’s players and they have expanded to have tens of thousands of people. They also had the time and patience to torture Hidden Lurker to death. Hence, if Hidden Lurker had a brain, he would know that he could not play this game anymore.
To Quan Zhen Sect, they did not have any sense of accomplishment to force Hidden Lurker out of the game. They were now familiar with him. In the past, Hidden Lurker’s subordinates had the top guild of the national server and yet, they could be wiped out. Now that he was left alone, it would be too easy to make him disappear.
After Quan Zhen Sect returned to Berserk Thunder City in the Light Faction’s camp, the faction rewards also arrived.
The reward was simple. Light Faction and Neutral Faction merit points +100, guild level +2…

Because of this, Quan Zhen Sect became the first top level guild in > and had the special authority to level up their headquarters to a Grand City.
The increase in merit points and guild level did not matter that much to Quan Zhen Sect as they only had a total of 16 people and so, as long as their guild was not level 0, there was no difference in level 1 to 5.
The only thing Quan Zhen Sect appreciated was the XP rewards. The large amount of XP rewarded from the faction war helped all in Quan Zhen Sect to level up to level 40 and Wang Yu moved from level 42 to 43.
At level 40, they would be able to master intermediate skills. This meant that their abilities would be drastically stronger than a level 30’s.
“Boss Fearless, I will be throwing a celebration for everyone. You must be there.”
When Quan Zhen Sect passed the Ironcliff Fortress, Berserk Thundergod was notified and hence, quickly sent a message to Fearless.
Even though Berserk Heavenlaw lost so many people because of Quan Zhen Sect, Berserk Thundergod was still genuinely thankful to them.
After all, if Quan Zhen Sect did not take the faction war upon themselves, Berserk Heavenlaw would no longer exist and Ironcliff Fortress would have lost its owner. Those potential losses made Berserk Thundergod let go of their past.
As to the conflicts they had with Quan Zhen Sect, Berserk Thundergod adopted the Quan Zhen Sect way of doing things and pushed all fault on to Hidden Lurker, causing him to be the sinner. Indeed, it did make everyone happier.
“Sorry to trouble you.” Fearless replied with a smile, “Where is it? We will go over now.” Quan Zhen Sect loved to enjoy themselves without spending their own money. Quoting Ming Du, “If it is free, why not.” Berserk Thundergod was hosting and so, they had no reason to not go.
“Heavenlaw Hotel at the city centre. The one owned by my guild.” Berserk Thundergod said.
> only had places to drink but nowhere to eat. Since there were gluttons everywhere, players of large guilds who mastered the cooking skill tend to opened restaurants as a source of revenue for these large guilds.
“Hehe, this name is even less cultured than Old Bull,” Fearless commented.
Berserk Heavenlaw was indeed bad at giving names. Before this, the worst name Fearless saw was “Ironbull”… Who knew that Berserk Thundergod could beat it?
Although Heavenlaw Hotel’s name was mediocre, it was quite well-known in Berserk Thunder City. As it was opened by players, it already felt different from stores opened by NPCs. It felt much better to be served by fellow players than by NPCs. Although so, everyone understood not to stupidly act like a boss at the largest guild’s territory.
Quickly, Quan Zhen Sect arrived at the legendary Heavenlaw Hotel where Berserk Thundergod had been waiting.
Berserk Thundergod put in a lot of sincerity. Although he did not arrange a grand setting, he had brought along those familiar people who were also fighting with them at the wooden house. This reminded Fearless to not judge by appearances. Berserk Thundergod looked silly but he definitely knew how to treat people.
“Boss Fearless, I heard that during the faction war, you started a level 60 quest?” Berserk Thundergod asked casually after everyone greeted one another.
“Yes, we completed it easily, why?” Fearless asked in response.
Fearless was smart. Berserk Thundergod would not be so nice for no reason. He even brought these familiar people to pull ties. He definitely had a favour to ask for.
“Completed easily…” Berserk Thundergod shivered. It was a level 60 dungeon quest and yet he said it as though it was as easy as a mahjong game. How arrogant.
“Erm, I have a favour to ask from you…” Berserk Thundergod said.
