《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 474. Splitting Up

A large exclamation mark appeared on the top of Wang Yu's head after being bitten by the white blood cell.
Weren't they supposed to protect these playthings from the monsters? Why did it end up attacking the gamers?
During that gap in his train of thoughts, the white blood cell pounced up once more. The parasite was only less than two metres away from Wang Yu too.
Wang Yu sidestepped and dodged the white blood cell's attack as he extended his arm to grab the parasite. The parasite saw the white blood cell behind Wang Yu and immediately made a U-turn. It started charging towards the blood platelet once more.
"I know what is going on!"
Fearless cried out excitedly as he saw what happened, "Old Bull, after the parasite leach onto the blood platelet, throw the blood platelet right beside the white blood cell."
In actual fact, the red blood cells and blood platelets were the only monsters they needed to protect. The white blood cell was more of a defender. In the eyes of the white blood cells, parasites and gamers were all considered invaders and needed to be attacked.
This was the reason why the parasite turned the other direction after spotting the white blood cells instead of pouncing on it.
Wang Yu didn't know what Fearless' plan was but he trusted and followed his instructions.
After the parasite avoided the white blood cell, it continued to leach on the blood platelet. Wang Yu went forward to grab the blood platelet before throwing it towards the white blood cell.
Indeed, when the white blood cell saw the parasite on the blood platelet, it rushed forward to swallow it.
When the quest was completed, the red blood cell returned to Wang Yu's side and rubbed intimately against Wang Yu. A red light flashed across and Wang Yu's health returned to full. On the other hand, Boson and Thunderlord, who were lying unconscious on the floor also came back to their senses after the death of the parasite.

"So it is that simple."
Everyone finally understood the logic after seeing the parasite being eaten alive by the white blood cell.
The parasite couldn't be killed by gamers and could only be killed by the white blood cell in Di Kapia's body.
With that in mind, the monsters in the later stages of the game could be dealt with easily.
After the parasite lost its health, it would look for the nearest body to leach onto. Therefore, everyone simply needed to lure the parasite near to a blood platelet before attacking it. This way, the parasite would leach onto the blood platelet instead of them.
The white blood cell's attack was only able to remove one-third of the health. Therefore, as long as the blood platelet was pushed to a white blood cell before the parasite recovered one-third of its health, the parasite would be killed.
Thinking about how easy it was to deal with this monster, everyone felt embarrassed. They were nearly exterminated because of a monster like this. This was especially so for Boson and Thunderlord Block who kept quiet throughout the entire time. They felt utterly embarrassed and ashamed of themselves.
With this strategy, nothing posed a significant problem for the squad as they continued to navigate the maze in Di Kapia's intestine. As they moved forward, they killed 30 parasites in Di Kapia's body.
Every parasite contributed 2% to the completion level and 30 parasites contributed 60%. They were still short of 40% but everyone realised that there were no longer any parasites left in this maze.
"Could the system accidentally miss out 20 parasites?" Nine Solitary Spears asked.
An experienced Thunderlord replied, "This is not possible. Maybe these 20 parasites are hiding in places we cannot find."
"Are you joking? We've already searched this maze a few times. Do you guys think there is a second level to this maze?" Ming Du threw out his own opinion.
The dungeon wouldn't reset so the only other possibility was to find the second level of this scene, which would be the second level of this maze.

Thunderlord replied with a disdainful look, "Look around you! We are in Di Kapia's body now so how can there be a second level? Unless he has two stomach?"
Ming Du refuted, "Who knows?"
Fearless thought for a while before commenting, "The last 40% should belong to the BOSS."
Just like a mathematical quiz, filling in the blanks was merely the appetiser. The real problem with a significant amount of marks would be the big question..
"BOSS?" Everyone started feeling a little uncomfortable at the thought of that.
It wasn't because they were afraid of fighting the BOSS. However, in such a huge maze, finding 20 small monsters was much easier than finding one BOSS.
"How about we split up to find?" Fearless suggested.
"Alright!"
Everyone agreed to Fearless' suggestion.
Even though this was a maze, it was only this big if everyone split up to look for it. Therefore, this was a rather decent suggestion.
"We will split into two in a group to look for it. Nobody has any objections right?" Fearless wanted to double confirm.
"I have an objection!" Wang Yu raised his hand, "15 divided by 2 will leave one person alone. I suggest we split into three in a group."
"No, splitting into five teams is way too inefficient. Two in a group is still better. Aren't you a top expert? Don't tell me you're scared to do the search by yourself?" Fearless questioned.
"Nonsense!!!" Wang Yu replied proudly, "The word 'scared' is not in my dictionary."
"Really?" Fearless squinted his eyes at Wang Yu as everyone else could hear Wang Yu's lack of confidence in that sentence.
At this moment, Vainglory shouted out loud, "Uncle Bull, I will group with you."
Vainglory was the most alert person. Regardless of whether Wang Yu was scared, Wang Yu was the strongest among everyone else. Following Wang Yu would definitely be safe and the fact that both of them were Pugilists gave him a perfect opportunity to learn from Wang Yu.
"Little Chicky, you're still the most thoughtful one. I did not dote on you for nothing!" Wang Yu was so touched that he almost teared.
"If the two of you are grouping up, who is going solo?" Everyone couldn't help but ask because Wang Yu seemed like the only person who could go solo in such a dangerous context.
"I can be alone." At this moment, Thunderlord stood out and recommended himself. As a supreme expert, Thunderlord refused to be deemed or seen as a useless person.
Fearless nodded, "Alright, Old Bull and Little Chicky. Lady Clear Snow and myself. The rest of you can find your own pair!"
"F*ck! How shameless can you get? Why must you pair up with the lady?" Ming Du was the first to jump out to object.
Even though Spring Halo didn't say anything, one could tell that he wasn't exactly pleased too.
"We should hear who Lady Clear Snow prefers right?" Spring Halo commented.
Vainglory regretted his decision, "Aiya, I was too anxious."
Yang Nuo looked at Fearless before looking at the two most despicable men, Ming Du and Spring Halo before walking over to Boson, "I will pair up with Boson."
Seeing Yang Nuo's decision, Ming Du and Spring Halo were equally as disappointed as seen from their faces.
"!!!" Fearless was dumbfounded, "Do you want to reconsider?"
"Reconsider your head! Scram!" Ming Du violently pulled Fearless to the side.
"So who wants to pair up with me?" Fearless asked.
Frost Blade subconsciously walked towards Darknorth Fisher while the others got into their own pair.
Crotch Lord said, "I can pair up with Brother Spring."
"Great choice!"
Seeing almost everyone in their own pair, Prideful Frost quietly walked towards Ming Du… The only two people without a pair were Fearless and Nine Solitary Spears.

Ira’s Faithful
[On Hiatus due to health reasons] Synopsis: Fate has plans for everyone. There are many paths one can walk and many nodes one can unlock. Yet all mortal souls only start with one node. This has been the case for many years and while there are some records of people with more than one first node, these are as rare as wings on snails, roses made of air, or ropes made of dragon-hair. Elise Anker has two first nodes. She doesn't know why and the only one that could answer is an angry voice in her head. She hears it rarely and the voice is as helpful as a sword is effective against a Leviathan. She strives to become a mage, a knight or maybe something else entirely. The future is uncertain and unless she finds out what her nodes mean, she will never know what she wants to become. But her nodes won't unlock and the angry voice tells her that she needs to find a worthy foe to kill. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. So What If I'm Trash? Who Needs Cultivation?!
Qing Shan Long. They say he isn't human. An escaped experiment from some government facility, a reincarnation of a saint, a freakish superhuman. Whatever he was one thing was clear. Be it Music, Martial Arts, Science, whatever he does he excels. He was a whimsical man. A great man. A man who craving for knowledge and excitement knows no bounds, whose collection of books and personal library would even make Alexander the Great green with envy. He donated to all manners of charities and funded many projects for helping the poor and disabled. A self made man who single handedly founded one of the largest corporations in the world, Wen Qu Technologies, whose influences reach from vast fields of expertise. From objects of war such as the newest aircrafts, droids, and body armor; to life saving medicine and vaccines; to even the mundane such as video games and the fast food industry. A legendary example of determination and hard work. He was in his car being driven to a business meeting to disclose a deal that would help ensure the country could have access to clean energy and help reduce the pollution that has been plaguing his homeland for the past millenia when he was assassinated and woke up in a strange new world. How will Qing Shan deal with his new environment where the strong suppresses the weak? From the top of the world he suddenly finds himself free falling to rock bottom. Unable to cultivate, a weak body, and all but disowned by his family. (For those who read comics and watch cartoons, imagine him as being Tony Stark, Richard Reeds, Jimmy Neutron, etc level of 'Genius'. ) My own spin on some familar tropes. Another reincarnation into another world story. The MC will take over the body of someone with a trash body that can't cultivate and will be hated and neglected by his family. Pretty typical so far right? Except there won't be some amazing miracle to heal our MC, there isn't some magical grandpa to teach him some OP thing which only his trash body can use, there isn't a hidden op bloodline, and he is not from a super amazing assassin clan or genius doctor. He isn't the chosen one, he's just a guy trying his best to make something with a crap situation. First attempt at a wuxia type story! I like playing with common tropes, maybe adding a twist, to playing it straight as a classic. I have absolutely no idea where this is going to take me but please do give your input and I'll do my best so that everyone has a say in where our journey will go. I'll admit the only knowledge I have of chinese history and ancient society is from reading light novels translated to english and some old dramas, so if I make some social passe just take it as because this is another world, not exactly an AU where magic and stuff actually exist. I'm also not actually Chinese and will basically using google to help me with names and other such, if I make a mistake please let me know! (Even if you don't like the story or couldn't bare to get past chapter 1 please leave a comment so I can find out where to improve, thank you!)
