《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 470. The Appearance of the Hidden Stage

"Are you certain that the system knows about Feng Shui too?"
"Hmm…" Spring Halo was speechless.
In the bright daylight, the system even dared to put a mountain full of skeletons to chase after them. Naturally, it wouldn't be odd if they sent a bunch of ghosts after them too.
Wang Yu reassured the rest, "There are no ghosts around. Otherwise, I would have seen them."
"You've seen ghosts before?" Everyone was shocked.
Wang Yu replied, "Spectres right? Yes, I've seen them floating around in lush green."
"Oh, that's true." Everyone came back to their senses as they remembered that this was a western fantasy game. The ghosts in here would have some form or structure and not those invisible fellas.
Of course, even if they hadn't seen any, they dared not let their guards down. If even the skeletons are out, would the spectres be far away?
"Brother Spring, where do you think these ghosts will hide in such a scenario?" Vainglory was a curious young man who couldn't help asking questions.
Spring Halo answered, "In the corner where the Yang energy is stronger."
"Really? I've always thought that they will hide beneath the ground." Vainglory added his opinions.
"You're willing to be stepped over your heads?"
"No…"
"Isn't that right? Even a person as dumb as you will not want people to step all over your head."
"F*ck!"
…
While the two of them continued to discuss these superstitions, Wang Yu seemed to have suddenly thought of something. "Everyone be careful and watch your feet."
Before he successfully defeated the Ape King, the Ape King's last words were "Beneath your feet". This should mean that there could be monsters beneath them.
At the thought of this, Wang Yu couldn't help but sigh at how the Ape King was really a noble BOSS who remembered to honour his promise even at his deathbed.
"F*ck no! This can't be, right? Is the system really that despicable?"
Nine Solitary Spears and co. were all taken aback.

"Nonsense! We've come so far and you've only just realised how despicable the system can be?"
"If this is really the case, we are going to have a tough time."
Monsters beneath the ground could be considered the most disgusting monsters in the game. Monsters that could fly could be dealt with arrows or magic. Monsters that could swim could still be dealt with if the gamers go underwater. However, how can gamers right monsters that could dig and hide in the ground?
Arrows and magic wouldn't be able to reach below the ground and gamers could forget about following the monsters into the ground.
The Sixth Apostle really had really talented monsters of all types. His underlings covered both above and below the ground.
With Wang Yu's warning, everyone had to be wary about both the sky and beneath the ground now...
Traditionally, people worry about being surrounded on all four sides. Today, they worry about six different directions…
Even though everyone was wary as they walked, they were close to the edge of the plateau but there were no monsters beneath their feet.
"Old Bull, you're getting worse by the day!"
Because they didn't see any monsters, the Quan Zhen Sect thought that Wang Yu was basically pulling their leg to scare them. After all, the members of the Quan Zhen Sect loved to tease each other when they couldn't find anyone else to fool around with. However, after all the times they played together, this was the first time Wang Yu played a prank and even Fearless fell for it.
"What did you mean?" Wang Yu was confused as he asked.
"Aren't you lying to us? To make us wary and scared throughout the whole journey?" Ming Du laughed as he replied.
Wang Yu said in a serious tone, "I will never lie!"
"Enough of that already! Haha, we are all badly frightened by you. You can stop pretending."
"I am really not lying." Wang Yu explained, "The Ape King told me this just before he died."

"Words of the deceased? Old Bull, you should find a more believable excuse if you want to lie." Hearing Wang Yu's explanation, everyone was even more certain that Wang Yu was joking with them…
Crotch Lord and Yang Nuo simply smiled a little. The BOSS only told Wang Yu to watch beneath his feet but didn't mention anything about monsters. Wang Yu was merely making a big fuss out of this…
Vainglory jumped up and used [Eagle Stomp] on the ground as he said proudly, "Uncle Bull, if there are really monsters beneath us, watch me kick their faces…"
"..." Wang Yu was speechless once more, "Alright, maybe I misinterpreted the BOSS…"
"You're clearing playing…"
"Hu lu lu…"
Before the sentence could be completed, thunderous sounds could be heard from beneath their feet.
"Hurry up and run! There are really things below us!!!"
Everyone's expression changed drastically and just as they were about to escape this plateau, the ground started trembling.
Before they could even cover a few metres, 20 metres radius of the ground with the squad on it suddenly sunk downwards. Following which, a massive mouth charged out from the ground and swallowed the entire group of people.
"F*ck! We're doomed!"
As they witnessed the swimming pool sized mouth closed up gradually, everyone started feeling a trace of despair.
After their tough journey here, they were actually eaten by a monster. This was way too theatrical right?
"Eh? Why don't we have any death notification? Are we all dead?" Fearless was the first to notice something amiss as he shouted. The monster's mouth was pitched black and he couldn't see anyone at all. Therefore, he had no idea if anyone died.
"I'm not dead! It seems like none of you is dead too. How did this happen? Is this a BUG in the system?"
Hearing Fearless' shout, everyone started talking too.
"Unless we are forced to experience the feeling of being digested?" Without any second guess, the person speaking must be Spring Halo, the most disgusting person ever.
"It can't be…" Everyone's hair started to stand at the thought of that.
"Who just touch my butt?" Yang Nuo suddenly called out.
In such a pitched black setting, standing next to these immoral men must be really tough for Yang Nuo.
Yang Nuo's shout was supposed to intimidate the small. However, she completely underestimated these Quan Zhen Sect men. This shout immediately reminded this group of immoral men and they very quickly touched a few more times. It would be better if she didn't shout the first time.
"F*ck! Which one of you b*stards touch my chest?" Yang Nuo shouted once more.
Fearless chuckled as he threw out a Holy Sphere of Light…
The white light from the sphere was brighter than the sun and it instantly shone on the entire space. All they saw was that there was a huge hand pressing on Yang Nuo's chest. The owner of the huge hand was Wang Yu as he looked around emotionlessly.
"..."
Looking at this scene, Fearless' sweat started pouring down his forehead. Everyone from the Quan Zhen Sect looked at Wang Yu together and had the same exact expression.
This was awkward… Initially, nobody would have imagined Wang Yu to be the person to do such things which was why Fearless dared to throw out the Holy Sphere. Who knew that this would be the outcome? Yang Nuo's viciousness was something Fearless witnessed before.
"Eh? It's you? What are you doing beside me?" Wang Yu saw everyone staring at him and he immediately turned to Yang Nuo, who was right beside him.
"Humph! You rogue!!!" Yang Nuo glared fiercely at Wang Yu and cursed at him.
"..." Wang Yu's expression changed and he asked with a straight face, "Don't tell me you think that I did that on purpose…"
Everyone replied the same exact sentence, "Didn't you do it on purpose?"
"Hmm, yours aren't even as big as mine…" Wang Yu used his hands to make the gestures and Yang Nuo's face turned even blacker than before.
"F*ck!!!"
Just as everyone was applauding Wang Yu's bravery, everything turned bright as though the entire scenario changed.

Rise of a Scarlet Devil (Regular+Draft Version)
A young girl slain during a war was brought back to life by some unknown force millennia later. She could only remember a vague face within her memories, uncertain as to who it was but there was one thing she did know. She needed to kill that person. But she was too weak, she needed to hide, to grow. She needed to flee from the battlefield her enemy reigns over. And to do so, she needed to run eastward, towards Helios, a safe haven for those who have lost their homes in the war. And where she would grow to become the strongest Hunter under her own strength. What was it that brought her back? Only time will tell. #Author's Note The novel is organized like this:Regular Chapters (Act, Title, Part (ranging from 1 to 9))Draft Chapter DisclaimerDraft Chapters (Entry Number, Perspective, Title, Part (ranging from i to ii)) Regular chapters are edited chapters that reflect the story aspect more while Draft chapters reflect plot progression more. An occasional interactive chapter will appear in the drafts but nowhere in the regular chapters. Expect changes when reading between Regular and Draft chapters as some events in the story may change in length or entirely removed/changed. Only read the draft version if you want a future view and/or opinion on the story and design elements. The main character is a human from a fantasy world reincarnated as a devil. The story possesses Reincarnators, Transmigrators, and Summoned Persons. though mainly focusing on Magic and other abilities such as Aura and Skills. Wizards (those who prepare arcane spells) and Mages (those who use elemental magic) are separate but seen as the same by common inhabitants of the world but clearly defined as different by more influential persons and by the circles themselves. The main character WILL not be a Mage or Wizard but will incorporate mana into her attacks to aid her as does any high-rank combatants. The system in the novel quantifies a person's abilities and keeps record of them but does not define natural ability, occasionally granting special abilities as skills to a person once prerequisites are met. There is no leveling system and no occupational systems in the novel featuring only a stat based and skill based system. Also, this novel is my first and will most likely be trash.
