"You dare to pull such a dirty trick on me?" Thunderlord bellowed.

"What do you mean?" Fearless said with a clueless expression.

Fearless was a good actor, the dumbfounded expression on his face almost made the Quan Zhen Sect members believe that he was really innocent.

Heh sure that Fearless had set this situation up to sabotage him, but the look on his face suggested otherwise...

"Why didn't you wait for me to revive?" Thunderlord asked.

"It's all my fault, my skills aren't good enough. Your equipment is already so strong, but you still couldn't hold up, much less Crotch Lord... We were afraid that we would all get killed if we waited any longer, Fearless said.

After Fearless said this, Thunderlord recalled that he was the one who wanted to be the main tank, and that Fearless had already warned that his skills were poor.

If he could not hold up against those monsters, what chances did the rest have?

With that said, Thunderlord could not vent his anger outwardly anymore, everything seemed to make sense, he just had to suck it up.

Seeing that Thunderlord had nothing o say, Fearless sighed, "Sorry Thunderlord, our skills aren't up to par, that's why you're in this position now. We'll take note next time.".

Nine Solitary Spears said, "This f*cker apologised again… something is wrong.".

He continued, "Alright Thunderlord, let's just be careful later, if someone really wants to get you kicked out, they can't do it just by themselves.".

Nine Solitary Spears and Fearless had known each other for so long, of course he knew what Fearless was capable of. But now, what Fearless said made sense, there was nothing they could do.

"Got it," Thunderlord said as he glared at Fearless.

No matter how much Fearless apologised or how much Thunderlord raged, the lost experience could not be gained back.

Fearless smiled, "Alright, let's not waste time, let's move on to the next dungeon.".

Behind the White Bone Altar, there was a small and narrow road that led to the Dusk Plateau.

"Do you think there will be traps here?" Ming Du asked as he looked at the narrow road, remembering the traps in the Twilight Temple.

The road was merely two metres wide, which meant that only two people could walk side by side. If there was a trap, unless they could all react in time, the masses would definitely not be able to escape.

The crowd raged upon hearing what Ming Du had said, "Don't curse us and jinx it!".

With that said, it was better to be cautious. With every step the men took, they looked to their feet, afraid that a spear would shoot out and impale them…

Fortunately, when they reached the end of the path, no traps had triggered.

Just as the crowd were about to heave a sigh of relief, Nine Solitary Spears saw a black circle appeared on the ground.

"Wait, this is… F*ck, move away!" Nine Solitary Spears screamed as he backed off.

"Boom…".

A giant rock landed at where Nine Solitary Spears was previously standing. Luckily for him, he was mobile enough to dodge it. Frost Blade, who was beside him, was not that lucky, he was immediately crushed to death.

Even though the system already mitigated the bloodiness of such a death, the sight of a large rock crushing someone still made one's adrenaline run.

Seeing the lower half of Frost Blade's body, everyone had cold sweat dripping down their backs.

"My gosh!" Nine Solitary Spears squealed after that close shave, the hairs on his body stood stiff.

The effects in "Rebirth" were advanced, if it was a rolling stone from a mountain, there would definitely have been some sort of sound. But this rock came from nowhere, it literally appeared from the sky.

"Look up, there are monsters!" Vainglory exclaimed as she looked at the source of the rock, it was from the creatures up in the air.

Nine Solitary Spears looked up and saw that there were three dark shadows in the sky, two of them were flying over towards them. The last one was flying up the mountain, it was probably the one that had thrown the rock down.

Perhaps because of their weight, the two creatures weren't flying at an extremely fast pace. In about ten seconds, one of them flew right above the group, and they could finally see how it looked like.

It wasn't just a singular creature, it was two- A dusk god eagle with a burly monkey riding atop it. In the grasp of the monkey was a large rock which it was aiming towards the ground.

Skills: Aerial shot, razor claws, demonic ape fist

Seeing the attributes of the monster, the crowd sighed. This monster didn't only look weird, it had weird statistics and skills as well.

Normal creatures had red health bars, but this one had a health bar that was half red and half white, it was as if it had two lives.

"What's the meaning of the white health bar?" some of them asked Thunderlord.

Thunderlord was a pro, he had more experience and knowledge than the rest, perhaps he knew something about this creature.

He thought about it and said, "This is probably a magic shield, we need to get rid of it before we can damage the creature.".

He was a seasoned gamer, this was a possible interpretation of the white health bar, but he wasn't sure.

"I don't think so… I've seen magic shields, but they're often shown after the entire length of the red health bar. This white one comes before the red health bar, how can it be a shield?" Fearless disagreed.
