"Task? What task?" A puzzled Wang Yu questioned.

Fearless replied, "Can you see the furthest building at your one o'clock? Get on there and you should be able to see a small monster near the field."

"Oh, let me see…"

Wang Yu acknowledged before jumping on top of that building swiftly. Indeed, there was a small monster on the small plot of field near the building. This small monster's name was in blue so it seemed like it was an elite monster.

"What's next for me? Do I need to kill it?" Wang Yu asked in excitement.

Wang Yu was naturally interested in monsters.

Fearless replied, "No, just lie down on the roof first. You will only use your pistol to shoot when I tell you to do so later."

This small monster was the figurehead of all the monsters on this field. By attacking the other monsters, the players simply had to run out of the territory for the monsters to stop chasing them. However, if someone attacked this blue-coloured name monster, all these monsters would chase and kill all its targets within the territory.

There will only be two possible outcomes: All the players die or all the monsters die.

Not too long ago, Fearless and Spring Halo came here for a faction quest. Spring Halo's demons accidentally attacked this blue monster. Afterwards, the duo were chased even after they left the territory. Eventually, they were surrounded and killed by these monsters. Therefore, Fearless had a deep impression of this place.

Not long after Wang Yu lay down on the roof, the players from the Land of Imperial Power arrived. Other than the ten Thieves killed by Fearless and co, there were still about 200 players left.

The group of players, who were chasing after Sanguine Wall and co, had returned too. Concurrently, Fearless received a message from Sanguine Wall saying that the five members of the Sanguine Alliance were all safe and sound.

This wasn't because the players from the Land of Imperial Power were so lousy that they couldn't kill five of them. It was because the Sanguine Alliance was the tyrant in Twilight City. The mere hundreds of players from the Land of Imperial Power dared not provoke the Sanguine Alliance. After realising that they were fooled by the Sanguine Alliance, they had no choice but return with their teeth clenched. After all, Sanguine Wall and co. were merely making their way back to the city. It would be a blessing in disguise if the Sanguine Alliance decided not to make a fuss out of being chased.

"Eh? Where is everyone?"

Imperial Dragon Behead looked over this small village as he asked.

[Heaven's Eye] displayed that Wang Yu's coordinates were nearby. The ten people of the Quan Zhen Sect must be near Wang Yu too. However, they didn't see anybody as their eyes swept through this small village.

"It looks like there is someone on that roof…" An Archer beside Imperial Dragon Behead pointed at Wang Yu's position.

After taking a closer look, he realised that Wang Yu's clothing were almost of the same colour as the roof. If it wasn't for the good eyesight of that Archer, he really wouldn't have spotted him.

"Eh, that's him! How did he get up there though?" Imperial Dragon Vast Sky, who was ordered to chase after Sanguine Wall, asked.

Regardless of how short western huts usually were, it was still about three to four metres. Even if the other party was a Pugilist, he shouldn't be able to jump such a high distance.

"Obviously he jumped up there." Imperial Dragon Behead answered directly.

Imperial Dragon Vast Sky didn't witness Wang Yu's abilities earlier. Wang Yu could even jump up a mountain wall so what was so surprising about jumping up on a roof?

"Ah? So high…" Imperial Dragon Vast Sky wanted to ask more questions but was interrupted by Imperial Dragon Behead, "This fella is extremely sly. Everyone keep quiet while slowly approaching him. We will encircle and kill him altogether."

"Got it!" Everyone received the order and moved cautiously towards the village.

Wang Yu was still lying on the roof while observing the blue monster. Imperial Dragon Behead and co. were still far away so he wasn't able to sense any danger. Therefore, he had no idea that the Land of Imperial Power's players were already planning a move against him. However, Fearless was able to see everything clearly.

The Land of Imperial Power's target was Wang Yu. Presently, they would naturally not disturb the monsters on the field in order not to alert Wang Yu. Very soon, this bunch of people crossed the field safely.

At the split second Imperial Dragon Behead and all of his men entered the village, Fearless sent Wang Yu a message, "Open fire!"

"Bang!" Wang Yu used one hand to fire his Fire Dragon's Pistol and in an instant, the blue monster was sent flying by Wang Yu's shot.

After this shot, a question mark appeared on top of the head of all the other monsters on the field. This was the symbol when a monster's aggro was triggered.

In less than a second, all the monsters started running towards the village from all directions.

After hearing the gunshot, all the NPC in the village hurried back into their houses and shut their doors.

"F*ck! He spotted us! Don't let him get away!"

Hearing the gunshot, Imperial Dragon Behead thought that they were spotted by Wang Yu. Therefore, he hurriedly instructed his men to surround the house Wang Yu was on.

At this very moment, Wang Yu finally spotted Imperial Dragon Behead and co.

"What took you so long…" Wang Yu asked as he chuckled.

"..." Imperial Dragon Behead was slightly taken aback by Wang Yu's words. However, he replied, "You should give up now! We have over hundred people surrounding you… Submit to your fate now…"

Imperial Dragon Behead wanted to say that even if he had wings, he wouldn't be able to get away. However, he thought of how inauspicious this phrase was so he changed his mind at the very last minute.

Wang Yu chuckled again, "Are you sure?"

"Of course! Can't you see how many people we have?" Imperial Dragon Behead replied with confidence.

Wang Yu sat up on the roof as he pointed to the back of Imperial Dragon Behead, "Turn around and take a look!"

"Haha, do you really think I'll fall for your trick…"

"Haha…"

Before Imperial Dragon Behead could finish his sentence, a devastating cry could be heard from the back.

Imperial Dragon Behead turned around and saw a bunch of figures with their heads lowered. They were wildly brandishing their daggers and stabbing anyone in sight.

"There is an ambush, everyone run forward!" Imperial Dragon Behead shouted as he led his men forward. After taking a few steps, they were blocked off from the front too.

This time, Imperial Dragon Behead finally saw how they looked like.

Surprisingly, they were not humans but those monsters from the field… There were roughly about four to five hundred of them.

"Hehe, I have quite a few men too right? Have fun!"

Wang Yu saw how the monsters successfully surrounded the men from the Land of Imperial Power. He laughed and jumped from one roof to another. Seconds later, he made it back to the waterwheel in the middle of the village.

The monsters' IQ were not high. After having their aggro triggered, their targets would be the players in front of them.

After being surrounded by these monsters, the players from the Land of Imperial Power had their backs against the wall. In a few seconds, over 30 men died and even more monsters dashed into the crowd of players. The players were either dodging the attacks or initiating the attacks themselves. The entire scene was a mess.

After all, Imperial Dragon Behead was still the current leader for this operation. He was indeed astonished when they were surrounded by all the monsters. However, he regained his composure shortly after. Afterwards, he pointed and instructed, "Everyone keep your cool! Head towards the waterwheel in an orderly manner. Do not let him get away!"
