《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 199. New Year's Eve Dinner

"Quan Zhen Sect? You can't be serious right..." Sanguine Warflag dejectedly replied: "Those bastards do the weirdest things for the strangest reason. But they would never cause trouble for me if I didn't do anything to them and we haven't offended them at all recently."
One of the unspoken rules in the Sanguine Alliance was not to offend the Quan Zhen Sect. The Sanguine Alliance had been extremely tolerant to the Quan Zhen Sect's arrogant attitude for this exact reason.
"One of our players that was sent here to recruitment members got into an argument with someone in the Quan Zhen Sect... I think that might be the cause of this." Lone Blossom explained.
"Che!" Sanguine Warflag scoffed: "Then they should have just dealt with you guys, why did they drag us into this?"
"Maybe because they don't have the strength to deal with us, that's why they tried to use your strength to fight us..." Lone Blossom replied.
"Ha ha ha!" The upper echelons of the Sanguine Alliance burst into the laughter.
Did the Pure Lands guild really not believe that the Quan Zhen Sect could not take them on? Their strength was virtually the same as that of the Sanguine Alliance.
Did the Pure Lands guild really believe that the Sanguine Alliance had backed off because of the agreement between guild leaders to not start any guild wars? Nonsense! That was simply an agreement for large guilds. They naturally wouldn't give a damn about this rule if they really wanted to crush a small guild. But could the Quan Zhen Sect be crushed so easily? Not only were all their members experts, they even had that guy...
"I don't think that this matter is so simple... The Quan Zhen Sect is more than meets the eye." Sanguine Warflag replied.

"I think you're just afraid of the Quan Zhen Sect!" Lone Blossom mocked.
"Ha ha, you can say whatever you want. But if you don't have any evidence, then I don't believe you either." Sanguine Warflag waved his hand dismissively.
Sanguine Warflag impatiently drew his spear, stabbing it into the ground in front of him.
"Hold on, according to what I know, you guys are involved in this as well! I have a witness!" Lone Blossom hurriedly said.
"Witness? Who's the witness?" Sanguine Warflag asked.
"Sanguine Rose!" Lone Blossom shouted as he signalled for a girl to walk forward.
Southern Yama had already explained this matter to Sanguine Rose. If the matter really was started by the Quan Zhen Sect, then she could finally prove her innocence.
"Rose, is this true?" Sanguine Warflag glared at Sanguine Rose as he spoke to her.
"This is what happened..." Sanguine Rose explained what had happened in the dungeon, as well as the matter in the Inn. The backing of Southern Yama made her story even more believable.
But she was still a girl. She had greatly exaggerated the matter and painted each and every member of the Quan Zhen Sect as a despicable villain, completely leaving out the matter about how she had unfairly taken a piece of equipment from them.
The two guild leaders looked as though they were in deep thought as they listened to her story.
It seemed like they really had fallen for the Quan Zhen Sect's ploy. Two guilds of several thousand people were both dancing in the palms of their hands...
"What's the matter? Are you really not going to do anything about this matter Warflag? Those bastards have obviously tricked both of us!" Lone Blossom calmly stated.
"Ha ha ha, but even so, we will not provoke them!"

If Sanguine Rose had not vividly recounted what had happened in the dungeon and in the Inn, Sanguine Warflag really might have attacked the Quan Zhen Sect alongside with the Pure Lands guild.
But Sanguine Rose's story had roused Sanguine Warlfag's suspicions. Regardless of how despicable they were, the players fro, the Quan Zhen Sect would not just go around provoking others.
Regardless of how strong Iron Bull was, he was still just one person. As long as they arranged enough people, they would definitely be able to kill him. But what made Sanguine Warflag hesitate was the presence of a strategist in the Quan Zhen Sect that had actually tricked both the Sanguine Alliance and the Pure Lands guild.
"Why are you such a coward? Aren't you the leader of one of the top guilds in the country? How can you be afraid of this ragtag bunch of miscreants?" Lone Blossom scolded.
Sanguine Warflag was not enraged at all by Lone Blossom's words, merely sighing as he replied: "Well Blossom, there are some matters that you do not understand. I won't stop you if you want to fight them. But let me give you a piece of advice if you really intend to fight them. The prepared aren't afraid of a sudden attack..."
"F*ck off you damn coward!" Lone Blossom angrily shouted as he knocked Sanguine Warflag to the side.
The players from the Sanguine Alliance immediately raised their weapons, preparing for a fight.
The players from the Pure Lands guild reacted immediately, raising their weapons and preparing to charge.
"Forget it, someone else will deal with them on our behalf, let's go back!" Sanguine Warflag waved his hand, signalling for his guild to pull back.
If they were really so eager to die, then Sanguine Warlfag wouldn't stop them either.
Lone Blossom did not dare to ask his men to pursue them. After all their target was the Quan Zhen Sect. if they had really offended the Sanguine Alliance now, there was no telling if the Sanguine Alliance would join forces with the Quan Zhen Sect to deal with them or not.
"F*cking hell, what a bunch of cowards!" Lone Blossom angrily shouted as he watched the Sanguine Alliance retreat: "The Sanguine Alliance are a bunch of pathetic losers! If they won't do it, then I will!"
Today was the last day of the month, Mu Zi Xian had already told Wang Yu not to play for too long as they would be having a dinner together to celebrate the eve of the new year.
Wang Yu was an obedient fellow and had promptly logged off after forging the equipment for Boson.
When Wang Yu had logged off, he noticed that there was a lavish spread of food in the living room, yet Mu Zi Xian was still busy cooking more food.
"Honey, isn't there too much food?" Wang Yu asked in confusion.
"Dummy, it's the new year's eve!" Mu Zi Xian chuckled.
"But I don't think we can finish all of it, won't it be a waste?" Wang Yu asked again.
Even though Wang Yu had a voracious appetite, but there was till too much food for two people to finish.
"What do you mean two people? Don't forget to call Li Xue and the girls out later on, oh and Yang Nuo as well..."
