《Taming Master》Chapter 517: The Mythical Magical Beast 3

“Hmm, is this the Elisha’s necklace?”
“That is right, Gripper.”
“I don’t think that it is fake. If it were a fake, it wouldn’t be able to hold on to such strong water power.”
“Obviously. When did you ever see me cheating, Gripper?”
“I don’t think…”
“I know.”
Ian handed Gripper the Spirit King’s necklace, and he looked at every corner of that brilliant sapphire embedded in the center of the necklace.
After a while, he nodded.
“Yeah. You are right.”
“About what?”
“With this necklace in possession, the door to the spiritual dimension can be opened.”
“Then open it now.”
Gripper’s wrinkled eyes looked at Ian.
He then asked Ian while slightly smiling.
“Just like that?”
“Huh ?”
“Huh, if you like freebies, then you are gonna be down in the dumps.”
“Ah, Gripper, you’re going to be like this?”
Ian and Gripper had the best affinity between them.
And it wasn’t just a story that was going on.
Although he was an NPC, Gripper and Ian were close enough to consider themselves as old friends.
Ian guessed exactly what Gripper wanted.
Ian waited for a moment and opened his mouth to speak with a subtle voice.
“You are curious about the secret of the Magical Beast Transmutation, right Gripper?”
At the question of Ian, Gripper’s expression brightened immediately.
“Huhu, you pretended like you didn’t know. That’s why I like you.”
“Ha, I don’t have much time… I am a very busy person. Can’t you just ask Cervian instead of me?”
“I already asked you.”
“Huh?”
“That nasty old man won’t tell me.”
“…”
“Come back later as I am busy with the magical beast transmutation; he gave me those orders.”
“Haaa.”
Ian sighed.
He guessed the kind of situation it was.
‘Cervian, that old man, he is trying to test the theory of the magical beast transmutation.’
Cervian was the kind of person, who when he falls in love with something, he didn’t get bothered with anything else.
Therefore, the orders he gave Gripper were quite understandable.
“If you let me know the secret of the Magical beast transmutation, I’ll give you the corresponding information.”
“Inform… ation?”
“Yeah. How is that? Now, do you feel like letting me know?”
In fact, Ian had been planning to give Gripper the formula of the Magical beast transmutation.
He knew about the personality of Gripper, who always got curious about something and could never let it go.
But as things turned out, Ian’s interest began to arouse in the ‘information’ that Gripper was talking about.
Acting as if he was uninterested, Ian took the bait.
“Ay, I need to know what the exchange information is about. Do you have any idea how hard it was to find the formula of the magical beast transmutation…”

Gripper took the bait almost immediately.
“Huhu, nice. Then I’ll let you in.”
“Let me listen to it.”
“It is about the ‘Marion Khalifa’s Soul Stone’ that you had before.”
“…?”
“I wanted to talk to you about it…”
Ian’s eyes went wide after hearing about it.
It was all because of what Gripper said.
‘What? This old man… has been a fortune teller in his past life?’
Ian felt goosebumps on his whole body.
Gripper mentioned Marion Khalifa’s Soul Stone.
There was one thing that Ian was curious about with that item.
And as Gripper’s story continued, Ian had no choice but to be astonished.
“Ian. In your inventory, there probably is a Khalifa’s Soul Stone. You would have placed it in the magical beast transmutation, but it got rejected from the magic circle, right?”
“How… how did…?”
“Huhu. How did I know? You think there is anything that this Gripper doesn’t know?”
“You don’t know about the magical beast transmutation formula.”
“That… that…! Humph, whatever. Can’t you think of me as some doctor while talking and stay quiet?”
The dimension war with the Devildom—the final battle.
It was Ian who defeated the Marion Dragon Khalifa, who had been the last boss at that time, and Ian was able to get the item ‘Marion Khalifa Soul Stone’.
And this item was none other than the strongest material for the beast transmutation.
‘I decided to create the strongest magical beast because I had this item.’
Ironically, however, at that point, when Ian had succeeded in making the strongest magical beast, Ian’s inventory still had the soul stone.
The reason was simple.
The soul stone of Khalifa would bounce off from the magical beast transmutation magic circle.
With a questionable message, it couldn’t be used as a material.
‘How did Gripper know that?’
Ian gulped and opened the information window of the Soul Stone.
-Marion Khalifa’s Soul Stone
Classification: Goods
Rank: Myth
It is a soul stone that has been left after the destruction of the Marion Dragon Khalifa.
Anyone who has mastered the transmutation can draw the best magical beast with this.
A good beast tamer can resurrect the Khalifa through the soul stone, or perhaps create another completely different dragon.
If you succeeded in transmutation using the soul stone, an ultimate beast can be created.
*Only available for the Alchemists over the level of 10.
*When offered at the Dragon God’s Altar, it can be exchanged for a mythical gearbox.
*This item belongs to the user ‘Ian’.
The item cannot be dropped or sold or transferred to another user.
Ian, who read the information window once again, looked at Gripper with trembling eyes.
He then opened his mouth to speak.
“Ni… nice, Gripper.”
“Huhu, surely I thought you’d need to know.”

“Nice. Let me tell you about the formula of the magical beast transmutation. In return, let me know of the information that you possess.”
“It isn’t much of an information, right?”
“No way. It is the same.”
“…”
“I bet you can get more than you can imagine.”
At the rant of Gripper, Ian began to calm himself down and explained it to him.
It was a bit annoying before, but when he started to explain it, he started to get immersed in the topic.
And it was natural for Gripper, who had heard the explanation, to be astonished.
“Key, that is so cool! Deep!”
Seeing Gripper firing up, Ian was satisfied.
“Huhu, it is a theory that contains the essence of magical beast transmutation.”
“I admit. I admit.”
And then came out the question from Ian’s mouth.
“Kay, now tell me. What is wrong with the ‘Marion Khalifa Soul Stone’?”
At the question from Ian, Gripper laughed a little.
“Wrong? Why do you think that something was wrong with the soul stone?”
“Obviously. If not, there wouldn’t have been any plausible reason for it to bounce off the circle.”
Gripper shook his head and slowly opened his mouth to speak.
“No. there is no problem with the Soul Stone of Khalifa.”
“Then…?”
“It just didn’t match with the recipe.”
Ian was confused at the incomprehensible story of Gripper.
“What does…”
But before Ian could respond, Gripper cut him off.
“Kay then, take this first.”
In front of Ian came the system messages.
Tring-!
[You have earned the item ‘Initial Marion Dragon Recipe’.]
Ian opened the information of the item right away.

Ian confirmed the recipe, and it made his eyes open wide.
“Wah! Wah! If you had this recipe, you should have shown it sooner!”
“Why should I?”
“Is our friendship only worth this much, Gripper…?”
Gripper calmly responded at the intense reaction from Ian.
“Ha ha, don’t get so excited, Ian. I found this recipe a while ago. The recipe I stumbled on while I was searching through the old documents of the Devildom.”
“Those lies… can I even believe those?”
“Lies you say!? That is so sad. If I did know this recipe in advance, I would have shown it to you first.”
“Huh… fine I’ll believe you for now.”
Gripper managed to calm Ian down and then continued to speak.
“Anyway, now I’ll explain the story which made you curious.”
Ian’s expression was very serious.
The information he got from Gripper was much more advanced than he was expecting.
In fact, Ian had no reason to regret over what Gripper had said.
Even if Gripper gave him the recipe, it was invaluable to him.
Gripper’s words continued,
“If you see the recipe, how can the base monster be set?”
“It is a dragon race magical beast with a ‘myth’ rank or higher.”
“Right. And the reason for that is right here.”
“…?”
“The Dragon soul stone can be only used as a material when the base is a dragon race.”
“Ah…”
Exclamation leaked out of Ian’s mouth.
The question was solved.
‘So, that was why the magic circle didn’t accept it.’
Ian opened his mouth again.
“That… Was it written on the ‘Old Parchment’?”
“Yes.”
A much simpler answer than he thought about why the soul stone was bouncing off the circle.
After all the talk, Gripper looked at Ian with a tender smile.
“Kay, I will open the door to the spirit dimension as promised.”
When he finished, Gripper threw the necklace of the spirit king that was in his hand.
“…!”
Surprisingly, blue light began to emerge from the necklace.
As time went by, the blue light began to change into a large portal.
The portal to the Spirit dimension.
Towards that, Ian’s eyes couldn’t stop shinning and Gripper opened his mouth.
“Ian, do you know the ingredients in the recipe called the ‘elemental stones’?”
“No. This is the first time I’m hearing it.”
“Surely.”
“Why?”
“You’re going to the spirit dimension, so get those from there.”
“…?”
“Get me those elemental stones when you go to the spirit dimension. The elemental stones are material items that can be found very easily in the spirit world.”
“Ah!”
“But it is hard to find the best ones.”
“Oho.”
By this time, Ian was sorry for pretending in the beginning with Gripper.
‘Surely Gripper is a very generous person…’
There was just too much information from Gripper.
“Get as many high-class elemental stones as possible that you can. It is also needed for creating the ‘Marion Dragon Transmutation’, and it is also a material that can be used for creating a powerful relic.”
“Okay, Gripper. I’ll get a lot of them and give you some too.”
“Huhu, I would really appreciate it if you could do that.”
After saying his goodbyes to Gripper, Ian took a step into the Spirit dimension portal.
‘Finally… the spirit world.’
While laughing to himself, Ian closed his eyes.
New content was going to be unfolded in the near future that was seconds away. The very anticipated one.

The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
