《World of Experts 》Chapter 79: Aspire to Gallop a Thousand Miles

“I won?” Huang Zhong’s white bread shook.
Feng Tianhao retracted his iron spear, put away his warhorse and pointed at the endless sky.
“You lost this competition! But you won against yourself.” Feng Tianhao clenched his fists and said while hitting his own chest: “You were away from the battlefield for so many years, but your archery skills are still outstanding in the world. This is your victory!”
At this moment, a trace of vigor and vitality in Feng Tianhao’s eye became very clear!
“I know! You want to resurrect your wife and son. But why are you waiting here for someone else’s charity? Even if someone comes and gives you a charity, you can only resurrect one of them! Is this the ending you want? Absolutely not! No matter what kind of arrangements God has made for you, you must not give up on yourself. And I will also not allow you to have such an ending. Follow me, I will take you to fight all over the world. No matter how difficult the future is, you have to use your own arrows to find your way. There will come a day when your whole family will be reunited. I, Blowing Wind Left A Scar, do as promised! Let’s make a promise, I’ll never break it.”
Huang Zhong stood there for a long time without saying anything. He knew that even the Divine and Mighty Alliance didn’t have one such thing as a resurrection item. And here, Blowing Wind Left A Scar wanted to take him to search two such things! It was very difficult. But! Blowing Wind Left A Scar, Blowing Wind Left A Scar! Huang Zhong’s heart was indeed blown away.
Clap! Clap! Clap! Huang Zhong and Feng Tianhao clapped each other palms three times, making a promise!
After a long time, the sky had darkened. There was not even a soul in sight in this place where two people had fought three matches. However, upon a careful look, the ground seemed to have many traces, which were traces of sweat and also teardrops. Real men didn’t shed tears easily, merely, they still aspire to gallop a thousand miles!
Huang Zhong’s tears, Huang Zhong’s aspire to gallop a thousand miles! Traveling thousands of miles through rivers and mountains just for the true love in his heart.

However, he was not the only one who aspired to gallop a thousand miles. At least, Shi Hao was also the same.
Merely, Shi Hao’s aspiration to gallop a thousand miles was not so tragic as Huang Zhong’s. Originally, Shi Hao just wanted to live together happily with Su Xiao. Naturally, at this stage, he couldn’t deny that he also had thoughts of unifying the >!
Speaking about it, our protagonist Shi Hao, where is he now? Is he in the Seafloor World? It seems it has been a long time since we have last seen him.
Alas! This topic was also full of tears. Now, Shi Hao had yet to reach the Seafloor World. But he had already arrived at the Central Flower Region under the escort of a team sent by Zhang Han! Yes, he was at Central Flower Region where Su Xiao was located.
And that mysterious passage to the Seafloor World was located in this region.
“Little brother, how long until we arrive there? Is it necessary to move so slowly?” Shi Hao who was sitting in a carriage complained. He had two reasons to complain. Firstly, he wanted to finish things earlier and secretly run over to see Su Xiao. Secondly, this speed was truly too slow.
It had already been several days. F***! But he actually hadn’t reached that mysterious passage. If they had traveled at full speed, then it was absolutely possible to complete this task in one day and one night.
As it just so happened that this group of soldiers insisted on acting like the characters in a spy movie. All along the way, they dillydallied and especially chose small paths and long-winded paths.
“Lord Shi! Perfect Zhang has especially ordered us that we must keep this matter a secret, absolutely cannot leak any traces of it.” A soldier responded.
Haha! Shi Hao was very irritated with this answer, but he had to comply with them.
Fortunately, not long after, a person appeared. That person was a bit strange. He came and sat in the carriage with Shi Hao. Then, the marching speed immediately increased a lot.
Shi Hao was naturally very curious. He took a closer look and found that this person’s temperament was indeed extraordinary. Although his appearance was a bit gloomy, it didn’t make other people hate him. Needless to say, he must be a historical NPC.

Perhaps, someone might ask, why not a player? What? A player? Absolutely not. Because who else except Qin Zheng can make Shi Hao feel such pressure among the Central Flower Region’s players? However, Qin Zheng’s appearance had already been made public on the forum. Everyone including Shi Hao knew how his game character looked! And Shi Hao confirmed that this person was not Qin Zheng. Therefore, he could only be a historical NPC.
Like this, there would be another question. What’s the deal with this historical NPC? His speed buff was much stronger than the standard warhorses. It was absolutely impossible for such a powerful character to be a small fry like Wang Ling.
Shi Hao asked: “Who are you? You are truly amazing.”
That person just snorted coldly. He didn’t answer Shi Hao’s question. Moreover, the coldness in his eyes seemed to reach absolute zero. Perhaps, his gaze alone could freeze people to death. Such a scene confused Shi Hao.
Shi Hao thought, now, I’m also a rank 1 official of the Divine and Mighty Alliance! You shouldn’t look down on me so much. Aren’t you a bit too prideful? Besides, the treasures on my body are definitely better than yours. Hehe.
Shi Hao changed his method and coldly said: “It’s just an insignificant skill, what are you so proud about? If my guess is correct, you should have a commander profession! Don’t look at how my profession is a fighter, if we choose 100 people to fight on an open field, then I can kill you within minutes.”
Although Shi Hao’s words sounded a bit arrogant, it was also a fact. With the double buffs of Soul of the Warrior and Shadow Dragon Soul, he indeed had the capital to be this arrogant. However, arrogance was not a good thing. Those who are weak but still arrogant would die, and those who are strong but arrogant would stumble along the way.
As it turned out this person in front of Shi Hao wanted to make Shi Hao stumble.
That person said: “I’m Huan Ji. Your words made me a bit interested. Very good! After arriving at the military camp I built, we can choose 100 people each and compete as you wished! Naturally, since this is a competition, there should be a prize. I like money. I hear your Twin Dragons Village is quite rich. Very good! If you lose, give me 5 million copper coins. If I lose, I will give you 5 million copper coins.”
Huan Ji! This person’s name was Huan Ji. Huan Ji was a competent general who suppressed six states. He once led soldiers and cooperated with Wang Jian and Yang Duan to attack Zhao State, directly seizing nine cities of Zhao State. He was a figure who was able to leave his name in history.
In > game, he was an A grade historical NPC, and his profession was indeed as Shi Hao expected, was commander. His unique skill was called Concealed Guerrilla Warfare.
[Skill Name: Concealed Guerrilla Warfare]
[Skill Grade: historical NPC’s skill, no grade classification]
[Skill Type: Active, 15 MP]
[Weapon Restriction: None]
[Current Rank and Mastery: Level 2, 225/400]
[Skill Effect: Increase the agility of the user and all subordinates on the battlefield by 5 points, moreover, get concealment effect in the forest for ten minutes (hide traces in the forest, and if an attack is launched at that moment, you can trigger an ambush effect. After the ambush is successfully triggered, the opposing soldiers will fall into a confused state for a period of time.).]
One had to say that Huan Ji who possessed Concealed Guerrilla Warfare skill was truly an expert in guerrilla battles. Just think about it, in the forest, you can activate this skill and launch a surprise attack, then run away after attacking. Afterward, launch another surprise again and run away. Like that, anyone would get a headache.
Naturally, the weakness of Huan Ji was also obvious. This skill didn’t have any direct buff on the team. Moreover, the maximum effect of sneak attacks could only be exerted under certain terrain. Because of this, Huan Ji was just an A grade historical NPC, the same grade as Zhang Han.
In short, it was not difficult for Shi Hao to defeat Huan Ji. As long as he looked for terrain without forest and trees, and open the distance between them, he could win.
Unfortunately, he didn’t have this information.
He just knew that this person called Huan Ji was truly asking him to teach how to behave.
Shi Hao and Huan Ji arrived at the military camp…

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’

A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel)
John was an average man. At least that's what he tells himself at night. He lived in a rented apartment in the decent district, a well-paying job, and more student debt than he cared to think about being steadily paid off. Yet he was absolutely miserable. He spent his days living like a zombie, a slave in all but name to corporate. His only joy these days it seems was reading comics and writing fanfics. SI ones. Choke full of power fantasies and large harems. Yeah, even he had to admit he was a loser. His only redeeming feature seemed to be his photographic memory and the library's worth of comics and books he has read. Yet, when fate took pity on him and had John transported into the Marvel Universe, he was only all too happy to oblige. A second chance to make something of himself. Is he going to finally have the comfortable life he wanted? Will he laze away relying on his past life's knowledge or does he want more this time? Will his ambition and hard work lead to sweet fruits, or will it rot away in the darkness hiding beneath the colorful costumes of the hero's society? Now with crossovers! Be warned if you don't like to see OCs messing up the timeline or DC and other stuff showing up. I swear I'm not randomly adding stuff and there is a legitimate (as far as comic books and fanfics can be) plot reason why. (I'll be honest, I don't know "cannon" marvel really... I watched some movies and animated series as a kid, but I haven't picked up a comic in years. This is just some light-hearted and casual writing for fun. If there are any errors or something you think would be cool please let me know.) I'm also trying to have multiple main characters so that might be jarring for some people while I switch perspective. Sorry in advance, I'm new at this and idk what I'm doing, advice and feedback gladly welcomed!

The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
