《Netheril’s Glory 》Chapter 126: The stronghold.

"This is where you can't go wrong. Go and kill them all. Don't leave anyone alive. And remember, the believers of Ti Xiaer Church can explode themselves."
Punk reminded the two teammates behind him without looking back, and then without saying anything else, he started to prepare an AOE spell to prevent any fish from escaping.
Kang Kai, as a kind-hearted ranger, was a little stunned when he heard Punk's reminder. But finally, he just let out a sigh and moved forward. Although he hated killing, he didn't mind getting his hands bloody if it was to protect the innocent.
"Obad-hai, the great god of nature, please forgive me for the sins I am about to commit."
As soon as he completed his prayer, a spiral of battle qi wrapped around the short sword in Kang Kai's hand. Without a doubt, the ranger was ready to fight.
At the very end, the most impatient Bahanger completely ignored Kang kai and didn't even pay attention to Punk's warning. He simply exploded with battle qi, then stomped his feet on the ground, and his short body flew into the sky with a sonic boom. Bahanger lifted his heavy hammer high in mid-air, let out a loud roar, and then fell toward a cabin like a yellow flash.
"Official level fighting skill- Burst -Jump-Strike!"
"Damn Ti Xiaer church, eat my hammer."
Bahanger's attack was simply an interpretation of his violent actions. The heavy hammer in his hand was now covered with a rocky luster, and his battle qi gathered to the extreme and burst out at the moment of touching the ground.
"Boom!!"
The cabin hit by Bahanger's hammer instantly collapsed and was replaced with a large crater. A huge amount of smoke and dust was thrown into the air in a shape of a small mushroom cloud. Under the effect of the earth attributed battle qi, the ground around the cabin was ragged and cracked like the scene after a major earthquake. Large chunks of rock collapsed, and the basement hidden under the cabin was completely exposed.

Meanwhile, Punk's spell was also released. It was the official-level summoning spell- Summoning Thorns, which could summon a large number of sharp thorns to surround the enemy.
With the release of the summoning spell, a large cluster of thorns appeared around the farm. Each of those thorns was at least more than five meters high, and the spikes on the thorns shone with a cold light similar to a dagger. Now such scarlet thorns could be seen around the entire farmhouse, and the thorn's rhizomes even penetrated a few meters deep underground.
With such a wall made with countless tiny daggers surrounding the farm, unless Ti Xiaer herself arrived, none of the believers in the ranch would even want to escape.
Although the action of Punk's group was big and loud, their speed of advance was so impressive that unless Ti Xiaer had a comprehensive intelligence network, which she most likely didn't have as she already lost most of her sanity, then, according to the system's analysis, there was a 30% chance, she would be caught off guard. This chance was worth putting some effort into it, so Punk would never allow any slippery fish to escape and then inform Ti Xiaer.
But... the facts had proven that facing a group of crazy believers, Punk's vigilance was actually a bit too much.
At this moment, a few surviving believers crawled out from the rubbles of the half-destroyed farm basements, then completely ignoring their serious injuries, they desperately ran toward Bahanger, who was standing proudly in the middle of the crater.
"Those who dared to blaspheme our grate Goddess Ti Xiaer will have to die."
"This is a holy war. The holy war has begun."
"Goddess Ti Xiaer, please give us strength."
"Die, blasphemer. Victory to our great goddess Ti Xiaer!"
Among these fanatical believers, except for the few apprentice-level warriors who took the lead, others were just ordinary people without any power, but at this time, they all ignored the colossal gap between themselves and an official-level powerhouse and rushed forward noisily.

"Haha, It's very convenient that you trash are coming together. I really don't have time to play with you small fries here."
Seeing that the more than a dozen surviving believers holding a few broken stones and bricks actually dared to shout slogans of victory, Bahanger laughed angrily. Then he squeezed his hammer tightly and turned his body at a forty-five-degree angle to prepare for his next attack. His tensed muscles even made creaking noises.
"Have a test of this Old dwarf's skill."
After speaking, Bahanger was about to swing his hammer covered with battle qi in his hand with all his strength in order to release a fighting skill called: wind compulsion, which would condense air and then release a high-pressure shock wave to attack the enemy.
"Wait, Mr. Bahanger, don't forget to keep one alive."
Kang Kai, feeling the power of Bahanger's attack, warned the dwarf warrior. He knew that if these believers were to be hit by this attack, the result would definitely be a pile of flesh on the ground, but as they wanted to find Ti Xiaer as soon as possible, that result was obviously unacceptable.
"How annoying. I just want to kill them all."
Bahanger complained dissatisfyingly. But he still knew the importance of the matter; hence, the dwarf quickly reduced most of the power he previously condensed on his hammer.
Even though Bahanger had weakened the power of his fighting skill as much as possible, the strong wind pressure still shattered the internal organs and bones of all the ordinary believers and then even seriously injured the apprentice-level warriors who were now in a dying state.
"Killing should always be the last resort and could not be talked about casually."
Hearing Bahanger's complaint, Kang Kai looked at the dwarf seriously and said in an earnest tone. But he was facing an official-level powerhouse who had an unshakable will, so this kind of soft preaching was destined to be just empty words.
In fact, neither Bahanger nor Punk paid any attention to Kang Kai's words.
Punk didn't even look at Kang Kai. He walked into the rubbles, moved a large piece of stone with mage hand, and then started to examine the traces on each pebble carefully.
Bahanger glanced at Kang Kai and said loudly:
"You speak too much nonsense. Come and see if the fool here knows something. If you don't hurry, I may grind him into the mud "!
Then, the dwarf walked to the only surviving apprentice warrior, picked him up, and snarled viciously:
"Listen, if you tell me where that bitch Ti Xiaer is right now, I can promise to give you a quick death; otherwise, I will let you see all the famous torture methods of the hammer clan."
Bahanger couldn't wait any longer to fight Ti Xiaer. So if this captured warrior didn't talk quickly, then the impatient dwarf would definitely do what he just said.
Kang Kai looked at the mage and the warrior who completely ignored his advice, and a trace of helplessness flashed in his eyes. Although he didn't expect these two neutral camp "companions" to listen to him, he still really couldn't accept their style of doing things.
In the end, Kang Kai just sighed and then came to the dwarf to interrogate the captive. The most urgent task for him now was to save the innocent people in the city of Dolez. So for other things, Kang Kai could only pray for the blessing of the God of nature, Obad-hai.
After he reached the captive, Kang Kai, unlike the fierce Bahanger, begun to persuade the warrior believer unhurriedly:
"Child, you are just being blinded by evil, wake up and look at the beauty of this world. Your family is still looking forward to your return. They definitely don't want to see you like this."
The compassion on Kang Kai's face was not fake. If he was placed on the earth, he would be a true saint or the type of person who would be willing to cut their own flesh to feed the eagle.
But unfortunately- it was utterly useless here.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
