"I'm confident in some things I did."
Jake could be considered a professional cook after so many years studying recipes and other things, he also cooked as much effort to eat alone at home, sometimes he spent three hours cooking until he was sure everything was in the right place.
Of course Jake had not given his best on these dishes, he just made a few pieces of chicken with parmigiana sauce and also a bowl of fried rice and omelet with cheese even made a salad with some tomatoes.
When Eva ate hoping to compliment her son for her efforts despite not really finding that she was okay she was surprised, Jake's food was better than her own cooking time.
Of course, she did not know that Jake should have as much experience as she does now in the kitchen, even though he was not struggling his food was better than someone who never studied like him.
"Jake, this is so good, I think you have the talent for cooking, I just taught you a few times and it's better than I do, you do not have to make food for me when I arrive, you're still a child, with knives and stove, I just taught you in case I could not do anything for you. "
"Do not worry, mother, I'm careful, besides, I did not have much time for me to make dinner, I was still playing today."
"So that's fine, but do not push yourself hard and enjoy your vacation."
After Jake spent a lot of time with his mother to nostalgia, Jake found another problem, as he had lived to be 40, Jake did not remember many things at the time when he was 10, so whenever his mother tried to talk about things that happened to her recently he had to change the subject so that she did not notice anything strange.
After returning to the room Jake realized that he was very tired, many things happened today, and Jake's mind was tired, his body also because he was just a child who was accustomed to sleeping early, so Jake took a shower and slept.
The next day Jake toasted breakfast with his mother who was looking at Jake as if he were a stranger, this was normal Jake had taken some customs from when he was older, that the child Jake never had, and Eve was very observant.

Besides, it was the first time Jake had eaten his mother's food for 15 years, and she had made her favorite food that was her waffles, so he could compare how his mother's food was far better than the one in the restaurant that she had worked.
What Jake did not know was that Eva had picked up more at breakfast today because she felt a little bad that if a 10-year-old son cooks better than her, Eva blamed in her mind that she was spending a lot of time in a restaurant and was not taking time to cook.
After eating a nice breakfast Eve went to work and Jake was alone again, he remembered that when he was a kid it was the worst time of day for him, but now he had the time to think things over.
After spending a joyful day Jake had to start thinking about what he would do for the future, in fact, to change the future, he did not want to waste his talent for basketball in this life let alone get crippled again.
So Jake decided that he would try as hard as possible to avoid the bus and car rides, to run to where he had to go or go by subway.
More after thinking about it soon enough Jake realized how stupid he was saying, many of the places he needed to go were long distances, it was impossible to go through life without cars, besides, the accident that almost killed him at the end of his life past was when he was on the sidewalk, not to mention that if you have to live in fear it was better not even live.
As for the studies Jake was not worried, he would have gotten into a good university in his past life had it not been for the first bus accident, and even more Jake had always studied alone after starting work and he was always smart, at least he would not need to study.
So the only thing he had to really prepare was like being a basketball player, with his talent he would certainly have a chance and in the United States, opportunities would not lack for a talented person.
More like he trained his pitches and befriended a coach, this coach said the base is the most important in basketball without proper training when new even a talented player would be outdone by an ordinary with training.

That was Jake's problem, the neighborhood he lived in and the neighborhoods nearby did not have many people his age practicing basketball, and local public schools also did not excel in basketball.
So Jake would have to train himself, it was nice that while he was walking with his friend coach, he saw many techniques to improve the base in basketball, and also many training to improve endurance, when Jake grew up a little more he could train with the guys on the local courts.
So Jake left to run again, of course not as yesterday as more training to improve physical endurance, with his age was the only proper training for a child to do.
Jake learned that the most important thing to do a race to better resist a person was not the way to run, neither the time of exercise nor the posture of the body, the most important thing was to learn to breathe while running.
In sports having a good breathing technique while practicing any exercise was the key, breathing not only improved the endurance of the body and the time when exercise was done more could also improve blood circulation improving muscles, organs and general health.
Of course, at the beginning of the training it was difficult to use the ideal breathing because it forced the body a lot, and Jake also despite learning everything in the technique had no way to train since he could not run more crippled.
Still, it was a little easier for him because Jake ran a lot when he was younger then he had his own racing techniques, with the things he learned his techniques got even better.
Jake was already thinking about ways to do his training with the ball, and he needed to learn several plays that needed teammates, and they did not have blocks in the area.
So he would have to see his mother what they could do, maybe he could use the basement of his home that he could play sports thereby the size, and also his basement was always almost empty.
What he had to show his mother that the idea of him playing basketball was not just a thing at the moment and that he even intended to have a basketball career, so he could get a scholarship at a university and fulfill her dream.
The biggest problem is how he could prove it to his mother because he is different, Jake has a mentality of an adult over 40 who was not impulsive and always thought things through before doing it.
More to Eva Jake was just a 10-year-old who could change her mind always and who did not take things to heart, and he could not blame her end he was just so in his past life, he just started taking the Serious things and think of his mother too after he started to work.
Before even ignoring Eva he ignored the times, and the more he grew the more the distance between him increased, it was a thing of not knowing how to be honest with his feelings but that ends the relationship of many families.
How many parents and children were not close when the children were children, but only when they became teenagers?
Lucky for those who saw this was just bullshit to ruin a relationship so beautiful that it is the family as adults and are coming back again.
Jake, who already suffered from the feeling of being alone for many years and regretted that he would not do this bullshit again, he would stick to his mother and would not walk away just because of the shame, after all that is the shame compared to loneliness and death which he faced.
After Jake came back at the end of the afternoon to do the housework and make dinner with his mother, when his mother arrived they had dinner together more today his mother was too tired to talk and Jake went earlier to his room.
While thinking about doing the same thing tomorrow, Jake remembered that before returning to the past fate would send a small part of him with Jake, but as he was very excited he forgot it.
"Fate, are you there?"
