《Glory e-sports》Chapter 179.1: Feeling heartache for Sleep God...

Why should they feel heartache for Sleep God?
Because Asleep was protected by an immortal support like Cong Yi all the time. Now that he had suddenly fallen into the great demon king’s hands, the difference… he’d understand once he tried it.
Wei Xiao hesitated. “You want to play?” He didn’t want to force the captain.
Lu Feng: “Yes.”
Wei Xiao: “’Kay, you play.”
He saw the scrolling comments out of the corner of his eye as he got up. A large stretch of purple comments were packed densely together, filled with ‘my ship is sailing, my ship is sailing!’. Wei Xiao looked calm on the surface, but flowers bloomed one after another in his heart, and he wished he could type out a scrolling comment of his own to clarify, “It’s not that your ship is sailing. You should say that your CP is real.”
In the time it took for them to change seats, Lu Feng had already entered the game.
The holy priest talent was one of the oldest hero talents in Glory.
Priests tended to be healers in all sorts of games. Just from listening to the name, it was obvious that the holy priest belonged to the light class and was a major healer.
In Glory, the holy priest was indeed the number one healer.
It’s first skill, Hymn, could heal friendly troops within range, including but not limited to teammates. It could even recover health for the small soldiers.
The second skill, Symphony, was also commonly known as Bubble Tune. It was a very tricky control skill. After it hit an enemy target, it would bounce continuously between targets within a controlled distance. The number of times it bounced relied on the player’s operations.
The third skill, Concerto, increased movement speed for the player and designated teammates. It would also restore 50% of the health that teammates had lost within the last three seconds.
The ultimate move, Aria, was affectionately called the Light Gate by the players. After the skill was released, it would create a gate covered with holy light and was a strong control skill that locked in an enemy while helping friendly targets recover a large amount of health.
There were a total of four skills. Other than Bubble Tune that had a bit of damage, Hymn was a pure heal, Concerto was heal and acceleration, and the Light Gate was either a control skill or a heal.
Three and a half out of the four skills were all heal skills. Glory’s number one healing talent lived up to its name.
How could such a harmless talent be used to play like the damned?
Reasonably speaking, Wei Xiao was also a bit curious.
He’d started playing Glory late, and the Team of Gods had already been a thing of the past two years before that. There was some old news that could no longer be found, and the rest only lived on as legends.
For example, Close’s support could silence God Kim, leave Captain Yan speechless, and make Yuan Ze and Xie He declare that he needed to stay away from them.
Other people’s holy priest was really holy, but his holy priest was mentally ill…
Other people’s light priest was like an angel of light, but his light priest was like a demon coated in holy light…

Did they have to go so far?
Although Wei Xiao couldn’t play support, he wasn’t so bad to the point where it became a crazy demon.
He pulled over a chair and sat down next to Lu Feng. He propped his chin on his hand and stared at the screen, glancing at the scrolling comments out of the corner of his eye.
The scrolling comments: “Ahhhhhh, Close and Quiet are too well matched!”
“One cold and cool great demon king, one cheeky little prince. Fellow sisters, I’m dead.”
“I used to think that no one could match with Close’s face in this lifetime, but now… Mama is relieved!”
Little girls’ mouths were so sweet nowadays… Wei Xiao thought to himself: No wonder there were so many little brothers who loved them to death and back.
The game started, and the holy priest followed beside the shadow thief.
This was a normal routine. Asleep was a jungler who tended to lead the rhythm of the game, and it was normal to have a support player beside him.
Asleep didn’t know that there had been a change in players and still thought that the holy priest was Quiet, so he wanted to show off.
The first jungle creeps in the top jungle zone were usually the three jungle creeps in the lower left corner. Asleep was an old jungler, and his skill linkage was smooth, his normal attacks accurate. He could dodge and avoid the jungle creeps’ damage and maximize DPS.
Wei Xiao watched seriously and commented in his heart, “Brother Sleep’s jungle clearing efficiency isn’t bad.”
To finish off three jungle creeps in six or seven seconds meant that his rhythm was very stable.
Seeing that Asleep was about to use the last shadow attack to harvest the jungle creeps, there was a ringing sound.
The fingertips of the priest in a white robe flashed, and a symphony popped out. It bounced from creep A to B to C, rebounding three times in one second…
A bold gold coin symbol was popped up over the holy priest’s head.
Asleep: “…………”
Wei Xiao: “…………”
Scrolling comments: “Hahahahahaha, it’s coming, it’s coming.”
Lu Feng typed, “Hand slipped.”
Like hell his hand slipped! How could there be this kind of mistake?!
If this was Brother Cai, Brother Cai wouldn’t make this kind of mistake even if he was beaten to death!
In Glory, no matter whether it was a jungle creep or small soldier, everything depended on who was the last to deal damage.
Why did players have to practice last-hitting like crazy? It was because gold coins only went to the player who made the last attack. Only with gold coins would they be able to buy equipment, develop, and be able to carry the whole game.
Under normal circumstances, the support wouldn’t eat even a small bite of the available resources, and they would feed it all to their c-position, raising him up until he was fat and full so that he could deal tons of damage.
Close was obviously not a normal support.
Asleep still thought that the other side was still Quiet. He paused for half a second before moving on to attack the next jungle creep.
This time, Asleep was clearly putting more effort into it. Reasonably speaking, it was very difficult for a holy priest to snatch up jungle creeps. If it was anyone else, they wouldn’t be able to get the last hit even if they tried on purpose.

And then…
The bold gold coin symbol popped up over the holy priest’s head again.
Asleep: “……………………”
Wei Xiao lowered his gaze and looked at the holy priest’s equipment: Sure enough.
The scrolling comments had also discovered it. “The holy priest started with an iron sword. No wonder its general attack hurts so much.”
“It’s a very sad story. The holy priest’s farm is higher than the shadow thief’s.”
“Who exactly is acting as the support player here???”
There were also haters who started kicking up a fuss. “Close is really arrogant. He’s using the holy priest to snatch up farm, so does he plan to use the holy priest to show off across the whole canyon?”
“Although he’s the great demon king, I don’t believe that a holy priest who doesn’t even have the power to kill a chicken can kill people like flies.”
“If they lose, then report Close directly!”
The fans were calm. “What are you so anxious about? Just because you can’t do it, it doesn’t mean that others can’t.”
After one round of clearing the jungle, Asleep finally discovered the problem. “You…”
He turned on team chat and reluctantly spoke a single word.
Lu Feng opened up the team chat as well and spoke five words, “Stay steady, we can win.”
This voice was too recognizable. Asleep could tell who it was as soon as he heard it. “Cl…”
Wei Xiao couldn’t hear what was being said on the other side of the headset, but he could guess it and shouted, “I don’t want to play support, so my captain is playing for me!”
Make way, make way, let Laozi show off first.
Asleep: “…………”
At this time, the immortal warlock with the ID 123 typed out a line of text and finished off Brother Sleep’s words. “Close?”
Lu Feng: “Yes.”
The immortal warlock stopped where it stood and didn’t even try to avoid the other side’s magic beam. A line of red words appeared in the chat box half a beat later, “Stay away from me.”
The scrolling comments laughed so hard that they couldn’t breathe.
“Was God Xie switching font colors just now?”
“Look at this bloody red color. It represents anger that flares all the way up to the skies.”
“Three years later, God Xie once again realized the fear of being dominated by Close’s cursed support!”
Soon, his teammates also noticed that there was something shady about the holy priest.
This farm that was the highest in the whole game, this demonic build. If it weren’t for the fact that they could see the name ‘Close’, they would’ve already started cursing and swearing long ago, okay?!
Although, they also wanted to curse right now.
What the hell was he playing at?!
What was the use of having a support with such high farm?
The holy priest didn’t have anything like the nine light arcs.
Brother Sleep was too pitiful.
Firstly, he was silent and didn’t like to speak. Secondly, he was a high and lofty jungler, but he could only pick up the farming remnants that leaked through their support’s fingers.
TRAGIC… written in capital letters.
His farm wasn’t good, and he wasn’t high-levelled enough. There was no way for him to lead the rhythm of the game.
When the other side came over to gank Asleep, everyone felt that they would be done for in this game.
Even if they had God Xie, it wasn’t enough to make up for this inhumane holy priest!
And then……
Everyone experienced a huge shock.
Three people from the other team had come over. They all charged at the shadow thief, which was a very logical decision. The holy priest could heal and resist, but he dealt no damage and beating him up was just a waste of time.
Pouncing on the key DPS position was the important thing. As long as the shadow thief died, then this brain-damaged holy priest could just be taken down at will.
Everyone thought so, and the scrolling comments even started to say that they didn’t dare to watch the scene.
Ding, ding, ding.
Bubble Tune’s sound effect rang out as Lu Feng controlled the three people.
The three opponents weren’t flustered. At most, they were surprised that the holy priest’s Symphony was used well, but what was the use in that?
Bubble Tune’s damage was very low, and its control was negligible.
Then, the holy priest’s light and floating normal attack flew towards the other side’s demonic mage.
The demonic mage didn’t take it seriously at all. Even if he was a squishy talent, this small amount of damage wouldn’t hurt him.
-2000.
A critical hit was triggered.
It dealt an additional -2000.
The demonic mage with a total health of only 5000 was suddenly confused: “???” What the hell!
Asleep reacted quickly. He launched a shadow dash and rushed up, smashing down a series of moves. Although the shadow thief didn’t have good equipment and could only deal weak damage, it was still enough to kill the demonic mage.
First Blood was about to happen, and the pitiful shadow thief was about to get rich.
System Announcement: First Blood.
I Like Close The Most killed uwi.
First Blood had indeed happened, but it wasn’t Brother Sleep’s. Instead, it went to the holy priest…
Everyone at the scene was speechless, and the shadow thief was even more stunned.
Ding dong.
The holy priest’s third skill’s sound effect rang out. Lu Feng said, “Attack.”
Healing and acceleration. The two of them instantly closed in on the two opponents who were still alive.
These two people had finally seen Lu Feng’s equipment clearly: Damn it, what the hell was this?!
In this round of 2v2, the holy priest took another two kills.
The Brother Sleep who had ended up with nothing at all: “……”
Lu Feng used a Hymn to help him recover the health he’d lost.
The scrolling comments hit the mark, “Hymn… praise? I know that the great demon king is only healing Sleep God, but how come it seems like I can scent a hint of irony.”
“Be a bit more confident and get rid of ‘it seems like’.”
“Feeling heartache for Sleep God…”
“Ten thousand pieces of heartache…”
