《Glory e-sports》Chapter 177.2: No one understood Lu Feng, so he would be the one to understand him.

Lu Feng stared at the documents in front of him, but his thoughts weren’t on them.
The office was clearly empty, and it was a quiet night, but the constant sound of quarreling sounded in his mind.
The magnificent house, empty corridors, the unrestrained roars of anger.
“Lu Mingze, get out of here!”
“Qing Lei, don’t be so shameless just because I’m showing you respect.”
“I really was crazy to marry you.”
“If you have guts, then go get a divorce!”
“Divorce? And make room for that woman you raised to move in?”
After that came endless anguish and resentment.
“If I hadn’t given birth to you, I wouldn’t have been trapped in this damned place.”
“It’s all your fault, why did I give birth to you!”
Sharp, stabbing pain pierced into his nerves. What Lu Feng felt wasn’t just the pain in his head, but also the pain in his shoulder.
“E-sports? Our Lu Family doesn’t have trash like you!”
“You thought of your father now that you’re short on money?”
“What happened to your confidence when you ran away from home? Didn’t you say you wouldn’t come back even if you starved to death?”
“Playing games? I’ll break your arm! Let’s see what big dreams you can have now!”
Bang, bang, bang.
The knocking at the door woke Lu Feng up from this nightmare.
There was cold sweat on his forehead, and his knuckles were sharply defined as his hand gripped the pen so tightly that it seemed like it would break.
“Captain?” Wei Xiao pushed the door open a crack, and his voice came in, “Are you busy?”
Lu Feng released his hand and got up to open the door.
In fact, the door wasn’t closed, and Wei Xiao had always come in whenever he wanted to, but…
Lu Feng pulled open the door and embraced Wei Xiao.
Wei Xiao froze. He could feel that the arm around his waist was exerting a lot of strength, like a drowning person grabbing onto the only piece of driftwood, eager to leave the water and catch his breath.
Heartache filled up his entire chest cavity. Wei Xiao hugged him back and called out to him softly in a gentle voice, “Captain…”
“Mm.”
“It’s all right.”
“……”
“I’m here.”
With that, he touched the tip of Lu Feng’s ear with his warm lips. It was a very light and soft touch, like the softest breeze in spring, sweeping away the cold night and bringing with it the scorching sun.
Lu Feng’s heart trembled, and he released him to kiss his lips.
It wasn’t a light kiss, and it wasn’t a gentle kiss. It was almost like he’d forgotten all technique.
He was just kissing him, wanting him, longing for him.
It was like a person who was walking in the lonely and cold, dark desert for a long time absorbing this only patch of clear water, this only source of survival.

Wei Xiao was left breathless from this kiss, but he had no intention of pushing him away at all. Instead, he wrapped his arms around him and hugged him tight.
“Want to do it?” Wei Xiao was emotional.
Lu Feng didn’t say anything. He just dropped fine kisses starting from the corner of his mouth and moving down, printing them against his beautiful jawline, his long neck, his protruding collarbone…
Wei Xiao’s toes curled up uncontrollably, and there was no way to hide in a place as narrow as the sofa. “Don’t, like this…”
His hands couldn’t help but go down…
Lu Feng grasped his hand and said in a low voice, “No.”
Wei Xiao couldn’t stand it. “No way, I-I can’t help it.”
Lu Feng locked his wrists with one hand and kissed him. “Just like this.”
Wei Xiao’s eyes opened wide, and his voice trembled, “Captain… Captain…”
Back in the bedroom, it took Wei Xiao a long time to recover.
He was a little upset…
He’d obviously gone to have a heart-to-heart with the captain. How come it had gotten sexual and had even got so exciting?
It was over.
The captain’s skills were getting better and better, what could he do?!
Wei Xiao was really a little bit afraid that he might actually die in bed during the off-season.
There were still hints of it when Lu Feng came out of the bathroom. Wei Xiao stared at him for a while, and his brain started to heat up again.
Why did he have to look so good!
He couldn’t think of proper things as soon as he saw him!
Wei Xiao took a deep breath and jumped up. “I’ll blow dry your hair for you.”
Lu Feng paused slightly, then opened his mouth, “No need.”
Wei Xiao ignored him. He pressed him down on the sofa, then bounced up again to go look for the hair dryer.
Human adaptability was really very good. The Wei Little Xiao who’d only done it once could already jump and bounce around after the event.
Wei Xiao was only wearing a t-shirt and shorts. His legs were exposed when he knelt down on the sofa; they were slender and pale and especially attractive.
Lu Feng bowed his head and let him blow dry his hair, but he couldn’t keep from stretching his hand out to steady him.
Wei Xiao was ticklish and shrank away. “What are you doing.”
Lu Feng was worried that he’d fall and removed his hand.
But Wei Xiao had seen through his intentions. He held his hand and placed it on his waist, under his clothing.
Lu Feng: “……”
Wei Xiao blinked at him.
Lu Feng gave him a hard squeeze and made his legs go soft.
After blowing his hair dry, Wei Xiao pillowed his head on his legs and said in a low voice, “I spoke with Captain Yan for a bit earlier.”

The hand that Lu Feng was using to play with his hair paused.
Wei Xiao flipped so that he was lying on his back instead of on his side and looked up at him, “Captain.”
Lu Feng: “Hm?”
Wei Xiao couldn’t hide what he was thinking. “Will we get married?”
Lu Feng’s heart pounded hard.
Wei Xiao’s shamelessness had reached another level. “If I were a woman, I would be pregnant by now.”
Lu Feng: “………………”
Wei Xiao tsked, “There’s so much, and it fills me up so well, I…”
Lu Feng couldn’t continue listening any longer. “Shut up.”
Wei Xiao’s mouth was reckless, but the blush on his face showed a bit of shyness. “Could it be that I’m wrong? Which time did you…”
Lu Feng’s finger moved, and he pressed down on Wei Xiao’s lips.
Wei Xiao didn’t speak anymore and directly held onto Lu Feng’s finger with his mouth.
Lu Feng: “……”
After that, Wei Xiao, whose head was pillowed on his captain’s thigh, was given a shock. “You’re hard just like that?”
Lu Feng couldn’t bear it anymore. “Go sleep early.”
Wei Xiao: “Eh…..”
Lu Feng made as though to get up. Wei Xiao quickly hugged him around the waist and said, “I won’t mess around anymore, I won’t.”
How could Lu Feng bear to get up?
Wei Xiao rubbed against his belly and said coquettishly, “I want to talk to you for a while.”
Lu Feng didn’t dare to have him rest on his legs anymore. He pulled him up and held him in his arms. “What do you want to talk about?”
Wei Xiao stared at ‘brother tent’ and cleared his throat. “How about we first…”
Lu Feng raised his eyebrows.
Wei Xiao was afraid of being driven downstairs and said hurriedly, “Okay, okay, we’ll just talk.”
Was there anyone who’d been as wronged as he was?
He wanted to help his boyfriend, but his boyfriend even got angry at him for it.
Wei Xiao forcibly pulled the topic back on track. “Captain, I want to be with you all my life.”
Lu Feng’s chest was filled with warmth. He kissed the tips of his hair and said, “Me too.”
Wei Xiao: “Like a married couple.”
Lu Feng didn’t like the term ‘married couple’.
He whispered, “I will always love you.”
Wei Xiao’s mouth curved. “Me too.”
Lu Feng believed him, and he knew that Wei Xiao also believed him.
Was there anything that could be happier than this?
Two people who loved each other and had connected hearts and minds.
Wei Xiao had been circling around marriage for a reason, and he finally got to the main point, “Mr. Lu.”
Lu Feng looked at him.
Wei Xiao’s eyes were curved, and he was shameless and impetuous. “As your de facto wife, shouldn’t I know something about your family?”
Lu Feng: “……”
It was a very serious topic, but because of Wei Xiao’s ‘wife’, it suddenly felt different.
For the first time in his life, Lu Feng didn’t feel irritable and gloomy when he thought of his family, but rather had a mood of not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
Lu Feng’s lips curved. “Wife?”
Wei Xiao’s bottom line had already fallen to the bottom of the sea, “Hus…”
Lu Feng was scared of what he could get up to. “Enough.”
Wei Xiao’s smile was naughty. “You dare to ask me to call you anything when you’re f*cking me, but now…”
Lu Feng bit him on the lips. “Now, there’s nothing you don’t dare to say.”
Wei Xiao was afraid that the topic would run off again and quickly pulled this small train back on track. “I, Wei Xiao, have a pair of parents I can do without. You’ve seen my mother, and I’ll take you to see Wei Quan later on.” As of now, Wei Xiao still didn’t want to call him dad.
Lu Feng’s heart ached for him. He agreed. “Mm.”
Wei Xiao finished speaking about himself, so he asked Lu Feng, “What about you?”
Lu Feng paused for a moment, his voice very light, “Lu Mingze, Qing Lei.”
It was like the names belonged to strangers. There were no particular feelings attached to those names.
Wei Xiao’s heart felt somewhat bitter.
Lu Feng’s voice was very dry, but he tried hard to continue, “It was an arranged marriage, boht parties were equally wretched…”
Lu Mingze and Qing Lei tortured each other, but only the young Lu Feng suffered.
Wei Xiao’s nose stung from just listening to him. “Captain…”
Lu Feng didn’t want him to shed tears because of this, so his voice became calmer as he spoke, “It’s okay. I’ve already gotten over it.”
Father, mother, family, affection.
Amidst his continuous efforts, his endless striving to be better, even when he made himself incomparably outstanding and achieved all their requirements, he still hadn’t been able to receive the slightest response, so he’d given up.
Life wasn’t just about one’s parents.
From the moment he stepped out of that house, Lu Feng only wanted to live for himself.
Wei Xiao’s heart ached badly. “You will have me in the future.”
Lu Feng smiled briefly. “Yes.”
Wei Xiao: “I will be your friend, your lover, and your family.”
Lu Feng had once said this to him, and now Wei Xiao finally realized the weight of these words.
He was giving him this, but it was also what he yearned to have.
Lu Feng could hold back when Wei Xiao spoke dirty, but he couldn’t hold back when he acted so clever and well-behaved.
“Little Xiao.”
“Hm?”
“Can we do it?”
Wei Xiao: “!”
They’d take their time…
That was what the dizzy Wei Xiao thought––
Understanding was a process. It was impossible to understand someone thoroughly in one night.
He had time as well as a desire for learning.
No one understood Lu Feng, so he would be the one to understand him.
Understand his past, his present, and his future.
The author has something to say:
It’s sweet, boohoo.

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).
