《Glory e-sports》Chapter 73.2: God Kim had a significant hobby

When they went back to their training room after eating, they ran into L&P’s mid-laner VIVI.
This big youth with blonde hair smiled brightly at them as he waved in greeting.
Wei Xiao greeted him in return and added, “Let’s make an appointment when you guys have time.”
VIVI smiled but didn’t agree or reject him, “Work hard, you guys.”
Wei Xiao tried to urge him, “Praise our FTW in front of your coaching team a few more times so that they’ll definitely arrange for a training match.”
VIVI was equally lively, “You guys should hurry and make it into the global competition. When the time comes, our coaching team will call you every day.”
Wei Xiao was quite reserved, “When the time comes, we’ll be very busy, and your L&P will have to get in line.”
VIVI knew a few phrases of Chinese, “So, does that mean we should… Take the initiative and gain the upper hand?”
Wei Xiao was surprised, “Marshal actually knows how to teach people to speak Chinese properly?”
VIVI was regretful, “I’m self-taught.”
Wei Xiao: “…………”
Fine, then. Just looking at God Kim and God G was enough to know that Old Dog Yuan wasn’t a human being!
During the free matching in the afternoon, Wei Xiao and Ning Zhehan double queued together while Old Bai and Yue Wenle double queued together.
After playing together for a few hours last night, Wei Xiao and Ning Zhehan had started building some tacit understanding.
Wei Xiao said, “Our Little Ning is really more suited to playing the assassin mage.”
Ning Zhehan was more self-effacing, “It depends on the line-up, it depends on the line-up. I don’t mind playing anything.”
Wei Xiao: “Be more confident. Your assassin mages are very fierce. if you were any fiercer, I’d want to do you!”
Ning Zhehan: “…………”
It was right at this moment that Lu Feng pushed the door open.
Wei Xiao was instantly distracted, “Captain, did you eat?”
Lu Feng glanced at Ning Zhehan, and Ning Zhehan immediately sat up straight. His hand even trembled slightly, “Brother Cai, let’s double queue together!”
Bai Cai: “Me and Old Yue have already queued into a game.”
Ning Zhehan’s desire for survival burst out, “I’ll single queue then!”
Wei Xiao looked at him, “What are you thinking? We should continue cultivating our tacit understanding.”
Little Ning wanted to cry…
Lu Feng retrieved his gaze and replied to Wei Xiao, “I ate.”
Wei Xiao’s eyes and heart were filled with the captain. He asked in concern, “Did you eat celery?”
Lu Feng: “…….”
Chen Feng cleared his throat and said, “He did.”
Wei Xiao: “Coach, how do you know this?”
Like hell Chen Feng knew. He was just trying to save the situation. “I know much more than you think. For example, your captain doesn’t only like celery…”
Even if Lu Feng could bear with it, he couldn’t bear it any longer.

Wei Xiao was interested, “What else does the captain like to eat?”
As a family, it was too hard to explain if he didn’t understand the other party’s tastes. He needed to remember it properly.
Chen Feng hesitated, then said, “Beef.”
Wei Xiao: “Who doesn’t like beef?”
Chen Feng: “Saltwater fish.”
Wei Xiao: “Who doesn’t like to eat saltwater fish?”
Bai Cai raised his hand, “I don’t.”
The well-known double standard Wei Xiaoxiao came online, “Who cares about what you like to eat.”
Brother Vegetable: “……”
Wei Xiao continued to ask, “What else? What else does the captain like to eat?”
Chen Feng thought hard, “Potatoes?”
In fact, except for celery, coriander, and fennel, Close wasn’t picky about food.
Wei Xiao was amused, “I like to eat all of those things.”
Lu Feng had noticed before that Wei Xiao did indeed prefer those things when they ate.
Wei Xiao was regretful, “Unfortunately, I don’t like celery. Other than that, though, I’m the same as the captain.”
A family with the same tastes was like a match made in heaven.
Chen Feng’s mouth twitched: In fact, your captain doesn’t like it either.
Brother Cai couldn’t help interrupting, “If you don’t like eating it, then why did you give it to the captain!”
Wei Xiao: “At the time, there was only celery left on the plate so I didn’t have a choice. Fortunately, the captain likes celery.”
Lu Feng: “…………”
Wei Xiao comforted Lu Feng, “It’s okay. In the future, our family… Eh, well FTW can make stir-fried celery and beef. I’ll eat the beef, and the captain can eat the celery.”
He linked at Lu Feng and stopped just short of asking to his face, “Isn’t that right, daddy~”
They probably wouldn’t be able to get past this thing with the celery.
Lu Feng pressed down on his head lightly, “Go score points.”
Wei Xiao: “’Kay!”
At 6PM, the day’s point ranking was announced.
1st place: Pro.
2nd place: L&P.
3rd place: Tomorrow.
Ever since yesterday’s regulation kicked in, free matching instantly grew fiercer. Many of the teams that had been at the bottom started to score points like crazy in order to obtain the qualifications to compete for the prize pool on the last day.
FTW was in fourth place, and their results were very good.
Wei Xiao was really high from playing. As expected, even free matching became more interesting after everyone started to get serious.
Seeing that Pro was in 1st place, Bai Cai was very surprised, “Li Heran asked for leave today. The substitute player was really fierce.”
Wei Xiao only learned about this fact now, “God Ran asked for leave?”
Bai Cai sighed, “I heard that he doesn’t feel good today and will be sitting on the bench for the next few days.”
Wei Xiao had heard some rumors about this, “Is his wrist still a problem?”

As the Gossip Emperor, Bai Cai had a lot of information he shouldn’t have. “I read the report that Pro gave out before. It’s not serious, but they’re worried he’ll tire out since the 15 days of winter training is so intense.”
Even though the actual scheduled activities weren’t significant, and there were only games in the afternoon and the evening, many strong teams had many other training matches to complete.
Originally, they could play them during the afternoon or at night, but now it had all been crammed into the evening. FTW going to bed at three o’clock was already considered early.
Wei Xiao sighed, “Since God Ran isn’t there, Pro probably won’t pick us today, right?”
He still wanted to play against Pro when they were in their best state. Yesterday’s game had been so enjoyable that he couldn’t accept today’s game being any worse.
Chen Feng picked up the conversation, “Pro will definitely pick us.”
Wei Xiao was stunned, “Why? If they pick us today, the next time we fight will be during the prize pool competition.”
Li Heran wasn’t in a good state, but he would definitely play in the next few days. Wouldn’t it be more fun if they played together then?
Chen Feng handed him a document, “This is the complete version of the rules that was just issued by the competition committee.”
It really hadn’t been easy for the organizers to patch up bugs. After adding so many restrictions, they then added yet another one.
Wei Xiao read it out loud, “In the points competition, each team can only play four times?”
F*ck!
They were up against 3U on the first day, and then they picked Scummy Zhou on the second day, then played against L&P on the third day. If anyone picked them again today, didn’t that mean that they couldn’t be picked again for the next five days?
Chen Feng said, “We’re ranked fourth. L&P can’t pick us anymore, but if Pro doesn’t choose us, Tomorrow will definitely go for it.”
In that case, they would have no chance of playing against Pro at all.
Wei Xiao was angry, “What are the organizers doing!”
Chen Feng was very calm, “The games are broadcast live. What will people think if they’re watching FTW every day?”
Wei Xiao: “………………”
He didn’t want to talk anymore. He was so filled with anger he was blowing up like a pufferfish!
Bai Cai comforted him, “Look, 3U has played three times already too.”
It was okay if he hadn’t mentioned it, but once it was brought up, Wei Xiao became even more angry, “Old Sleep and Pro fought twice, and it was a Pro with Li Heran!”
3U had been lucky. The reason why Pro had been able to ask them to play yesterday was because the competition committee had been reasonable and decreed that any training matches made before the rule change didn’t count.
Unfortunately, today’s competition committee was completely inhuman, and the rule of fighting four times in the points competition included previous matches!
Wei Xiao was full of heartache, “I can see it clearly. The organizers are deliberately targeting us!”
The person in charge of organizing the training camp sneezed: Hey, who was scolding him? It certainly couldn’t be someone from the China competition zone. They’d been very diligent and worked hard in order to protect them!
Chen Feng knocked on his desk and had him calm down, “Don’t take it lightly.”
Wei Xiao had stopped moving. He’d turned into a paralyzed salted fish.
Chen Feng looked at him, “Did you think that Pro is no good without Li Heran?”
Wei Xiaoxiao pouted; he wanted to play against the doubles champions.
Chen Feng sneered, “You may not know this, but Kim Sung-hyun will only be fiercer without Li Heran.”
Wei Xiao’s eyes brightened slightly.
As a substitute for the Team of Gods, Tang Chen also had something to add, “Yeah, If Old Li isn’t there, you’ll be able to see Kim Sung-hyun play the way he did in FTW.”
Wei Xiao sat up straight, “Seriously?”
Chen Feng rolled his eyes, “Why would I lie to you? Let me tell you, if Li Heran isn’t there, Kim Sung-hyun will show his true colors.”
Wei Xiao had heard something about it, “About that… his true colors of abusing junglers?”
Chen Feng stressed, “It’s abusing thieves.”
The world’s number one marksman, God Kim, had a significant hobby.
He loved abusing the enemy jungler in 5v5 games.
As everyone knew, marksmen were most afraid of junglers. This was especially the case for marksmen in 5v5 games. As the major DPS dealer in the later stages, most of them had a limited range of movement and were super squishy. When they saw the enemy’s jungler coming for them, they all wanted to call out for their daddy!
All thieves were assassin-type talents. Regardless of whether it was the shadow thief, berserker thief, immortal thief… they were all a marksman’s nightmare.
When they came close, a marksman would perform a health bar vanishing technique for the audience to see right then and there.
It had the word ‘TRAGIC’ written all over it in capital letters!
However, it was different for Kim Sung-hyun. His marksman could beat up the enemy jungler until they called out for their daddy.
This was a bad habit that had been developed in FTW.
Yan Jiang’s support was given to the whole FTW. If the marksman wanted to experience the warmth of a support daddy?
Dream on!
Kim Sung-hyun, who had to develop on his own alongside a savage jungler and mid-laner, had to attack fiercely in order to seize anything for himself.
Late game?
Like hell would there be a late game.
If he didn’t rush up to snatch up resources and kills, his teammates would all leave him ten blocks behind.
They were all headstrong characters. Kim Sung-hyun had to come up with his own playstyle.
Pressuring the other side’s marksman wasn’t a big deal. Pressuring the other side’s jungler was the real Daddy Kim.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

The Tales of Hammerfall

What he does with this opportunity is yet to be seen, but it will be recorded. These are The Tales of Hammerfall. --- Note: After writing a few chapters now, I realise how this isn't perfect. This is the first thing I have ever written and it isn't completely consistent. It may get better as I write more, please bear with me.

Deviant's Masquerade: The Huntsman's Quest (An Urban Magic Quest/RPG)
Jon Whitaker went to summer camp expecting a nice relaxing time as a newly minted counselor in training. He was not expecting to fight an army of monsters, work with a serial killer, enter a one-sided friendship with an eldritch horror, or study under a competing witch and dark lord. But regardless of what he was expecting, his summer is over and he's made his way back home where he can try and return to a normal -for him- life. Too bad life rarely goes as expected. --- Please Note: This is forum quest/RPG I run in the same city/setting as my other stories Hacking Reality and Get Ink'd, meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.
