The Sumeru World Core was collapsing, and the Sumeru Passage with it.

Xuanzang's plan was for the immortal buddhas and immortal emperors to kill each other, and the Ruyi Jingu Bang had put an end to that.

The six-eared macaque had paid for it with its life!

Although the six-eared macaque was all but dead when the golden fist connected, still Wu Yu cried out in pain and anger.

The Ruyi Jingu Bang was sent flying back across Sumeru World into Wu Yu's hands.

The final words of the six-eared macaque came to him: "I have removed all of the seals on the Ruyi Jingu Bang! Wu Yu, remember this well. You must take revenge for the Great Sage. He made you. Fulfill him!"

"I will."

Wu Yu curled his fingers around the Ruyi Jingu Bang, his expression set.

He saw that the six-eared macaque's gray body had fallen in the chaos, a frail little leaf swallowed up in the torrential storm. It was soon gone from sight, and the former Mayhem Demon Emperor, the master of the Demon Immortal Realm, was gone.

Another great ancestor gone from the world!

Wu Yu bled inside for him, but there was nothing he could do.

As the Sumeru World collapsed, Wu Yu, Guanyin Pusa, and Patriarch Bodhi had to leave quickly.

Xuanzang's nine golden buddha worlds had already started to flee. He knew he could not hope to change the outcome here.

Besides Wu Yu's Ruyi Jingu Bang, there was no other way to bridge the two immortal domains.

And Xuanzang could not take the Ruyi Jingu Bang either.

As the Sumeru World Core shattered, a void chasm had opened up between him and Wu Yu.

He could not cross it, as strong as he was.

Both sides were forced to retreat!

Of course, Xuanzang wanted to head for Heavenly Buddha's Domain. After all, he felt that the Heavenly Domain was a doomed place, devoured by the Unworldly Abomination.

As for Wu Yu, Guanyin Pusa, and Patriarch Bodhi, the three went back to the Heavenly Domain. They saw the Jade Emperor leading the survivors and fleeing as well.

The immortal buddhas were also fleeing back. They knew that they were doomed for sure if they remained at Heavenly Domain. All of them fled back to Heavenly Buddha's Domain.

All of the immortal emperors and immortal buddhas were injured, but luckily the six-eared macaque had destroyed the core and managed to force them back. The integrity of their forces was at least preserved somewhat.

The Sumeru Passage closed!

Finally, the inter-domain war that Xuanzang had started had come to an end.

Wu Yu and the others of course would not stick around with the Jade Emperor. They headed directly to Demon Immortal Realm. Not even Nanhai World was safe in the Heavenly Domain, now that the Jade Emperor had discovered it.

Demon Immortal Realm remained their last safe haven.

Although the danger was past now, but neither Guanyin Pusa nor Patriarch Bodhi let their guard down. Instead, they became even more worried than before.

Xuanzang's urgency in starting the invasion meant that he must have sensed the aura of that being. The Unworldly Abomination was about to wake.

Xuanzang's perception was the most acute among all of them.
