When Ning Jing walked out of the building along with the henchmen, her angelic face was brimming with a maniacal pleasure.

Even though, she struggled for a while, the biggest hurdle in her pursuit to own Tang Wei Sheng has finally destroyed.

Within a few hours, she will officially become Tang Wei Sheng's spouse as she desired.

When Lee Tae Yang proudly showed Li Juan as his woman to the entire world, Ning Jing was relieved to know that she still had a chance to become the Tang family's daughter in law.

According to her calculations, getting in to Tang Wei Sheng's bed was the easiest way to make the Tang family to reconsider the once "called off" marriage.

She was sure that Tang family would agree to her demands in order to save their family's name. However, her calculations went wrong when Tang Wei Sheng refused to take responsibility of whatever happened on that night.

That's when Tang Yi, suggested Ning Jing a way to manipulate Tang Wei Sheng.

However, Tang Wei Sheng's enthusiasm to save Li Juan made Ning Jing to think about her future as his wife.

"Miss, you should leave. We will take care of the rest," One of the henchmen suggested.

"Take care of the dead body," Ning Jing ordered and looked in the direction of the top floor with burning eyes,

"No one shall ever find her,"

She gritted her teeth and got on to the car seat. Tomorrow is going to be the important day of her life and she can finally look forward for it without any worries.

"Yes, ma'am," Just as the man reached out to close the door, something sharp pierced his skull from behind.

His heavily built body fell on to the ground, before Ning Jing could comprehend what just happened.

In a moment of confusion, with a loud crash, the front glass of the car shattered in to a million pieces, killing the driver who sat on the front seat.

Ning Jing frantically shut the car door and crouched down in fear.

Without any delay, the entire car was attacked with continuous gun shots, like a meteor shower.

All of sudden, the entire place fell in to utter silence.

Ning Jing held her breath as she tried to pick up the slightest noise from outside.

"Aissshhhh.....how did they find this location?" She took her phone and called for back up.

Right outside the car, a group of men wearing combat gear surrounded Ning Jing under the command of Chen Da Meng.

"All clear," He glanced towards the building and reported through the tactical ear gadget.

"Capture her !!!" Lee Tae Yang's deep voice heard from the other side.

Inside the rundown building, men who were clad with bullet proof jackets, spread across the area in search of Li Juan.

The moment, Lee Tae Min figured out the place where Li Juan was held as a hostage, the rescue operation was commenced along with the Alpha team.

Lee Tae Yang, whose face was darkened like a moonless night, carefully made each of his steps.

"Hyung, there are some heat signals coming from the top floor," Lee Tae Min's voice heard from the ear piece.

"Top floor," Lee Tae Yang commanded and rushed towards the stairs leading to the top floor. The rest of the team members followed his lead.

The men who were waiting for Li Juan's death had already took their attacking positions as they heard the gunfire.

"Hyung, on your south,"

Like a ninja warrior, Lee Tae Yang walked behind the enemy and snapped his neck.

"Bang!!!!!," The gunshots were fired from the darkened corridors aiming at the intruders.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Huang Zi Tao's precise marksmanship took down the enemy line within minutes.

"BANG!!!!"

A loud explosion heard from outside. It was so loud that the rattling glass windows of the building collapsed into pieces.

"What is it?"

"Boss, there is another group and someone blown the cars, they are seeking for death it seems," Chen Da Meng's excited voice.

"I will take care of the rest, go and look for majesty,"

Huang Zi Tao suggested and lead half of his team towards the downstairs to join Chen Da Meng.

"Tae Min,"

"There is a signal coming from the west side," Lee Tae Min reported,

"Only one?"

"Yes, it must be her,"

Lee Tae Yang turned towards the west side and walked straight into the locked door.

With a forceful push the rustic door fell onto the wet floor with loud thud sound.

The shallow pool in the middle of the giant room have started to overflow,

"Xiao Li," Lee Tae Yang's hurtful cry echoed in the eerie room as he ran in the direction of the pool.

Not even for once, he believed that Li Juan's most horrific nightmare would come true.

Under the faint lights, the haunting view of a fragile figure sitting on the pool floor surrounded by crimson red water, came visible to his eyes.

Without any second thoughts, Lee Tae Yang jumped into the pool and swam towards Li Juan who has already lost the consciousness.

He tore apart the tape which covered Li Juan's mouth and few air bubbles escaped from her mouth.

He shook her body in an effort to wake Li Juan.

However, there weren't any response from her.

Lee Tae Yang took out the knife and cut off the rope which tied Li Juan to the pool handle.

He caught her unconscious body in his arms and moved to the side of the pool.

One of the Alpha team member who was standing on the rim, pulled out Li Juan from the water.

"Majesty, " He tried to call her,

"Xiao Li," Lee Tae Yang who got out of the water, immediately checked her pulse and breathing.

It was dangerously low.

He pressed her chest as part of the CPR.

"We need immediate medical assistance," The soldier reported as Lee Tae Yang continued with the chest compression and rescue breaths.

After few more attempts Li Juan's mouth flared, indicating that her body finally responded to the first aid.

"CEO Lee, let's get her to the hospital, but the situation outside doesn't look so good,"

One after another, massive firing heard across the yard which has turned into a battle field within a short amount of time.

Most of the men, along with Chen Da Meng have already sustained injuries as they tried to defend the attack from the enemies.

No one expected that a rescue mission would end up in bloody war like situation.

While the two parties were fighting as if it their life depended upon it, some one reached the car where Ning Jing has trapped. Once the gunfire started, she locked herself in the car and waited for her rescuers, rather than escaping from there.

The man threw a grenade over the yard where the men took cover as he opened the door effortlessly and found a woman squatting down inside the car,

Who? A friend or a for? Ning Jing attained a defending pose as she looked at the stranger.

"Young miss, are you safe?" The man called out as he tried to open the door that has been ruined by the gunshots.

"Yes, I am," Ning Jing stepped out of the car and glanced at across the yard which is filled with the debris of exploded vehicles and dead bodies.

"Did all these men died for that slut?" Ning Jing gnashed,

"There is no time talk. Let's move," The man grabbed Ning Jing's hand and dragged her to the shadows, without getting anyone else's notice.

He took Ning Jing to a nearby junkyard, where he parked the car.

"Did they all die? The one who attacked us?" She asked as soon as got into the car,

"Yes," He replied and started the car engine.

Within a glimpse, a military helicopter hovered in the sky, preparing to land.

"Ah shit...they are coming," The man spat out of the words and sped off the car.

"Who the hell are these people?" Ning Jing tilted her towards outside and kept looking at the chaotic scene. All of sudden, something sharp hit the back of her neck.

As she realized the stinging pain from her neck, Ning Jing turned to face the man who was sitting on the driving seat.

"It is not just you who can abduct people," His bright eyes gleamed in murderous glint.

"Who are...you...?" Ning Jing somehow spoke out the question, before drowsiness started to take over her body.

The military helicopter made an emergency landing on the rooftop of the city hospital.

The medical staff who were waiting with the stretcher, took the unconscious patient to the emergency care center.

Apart from Li Juan there were few other team members, who required immediate medical care.

When Zhang Zhi Jun, reached the hospital with his father and brother, they could only see the solemn faces of a bunch of men in front of the closed doors of ER.

When Huang Zi Tao saw the Bai Zhu in the corridor, he tilted his head towards Lee Tae Yang who sat there like a lifeless statue, staring his bloodied hands.

"Boss,"

"What happened to her?" Bai Zhu asked in a worried face.

"Majesty got abducted and she is-"

Even before hearing the entire thing, Zhang Zhi Jun walked towards Lee Tae Yang's side, however, Bai Zhu stopped his son as he analyzed the man who remained with a frozen expression.

It wasn't the first time, he saw Lee Tae Yang standing outside the ER with an aching heart.

He was a meticulous doctor, who used to spend every day at hospital. However, after meeting Li Juan, it was the one of the place which scared him the most. One way or another, death was following her like a shadow.

When will they have a moment of peace, a glimpse of happiness in their life?

"Who?" Zhang Zhi Jun asked with a pair of fierce eyes. He has finally accepted Li Juan's decision to live with Lee Tae Yang and wished for their happiness.

As a brother and a friend, he wanted to know the reason for their endless despair?

"Ning Jing," Huang Zi Tao replied.

"What?" There was a visible shock in Zhang Zhi Jun's face. "Ning Jing?"

"Why? Why did she-" He swallowed the words as he remembered the their time spent in Tu valley. He was aware of the fact that there were some conflicts between Li Juan and Ning Jing regarding Tang Wei Sheng in the past. But was it aggressive enough to push someone into death peril?

"We tried to capture her, but someone...we failed to," Huang Zi Tao informed with a lowered head. In his service, it was the first time when they failed in a mission. They did a well planned collaborative rescue mission with the trained team from Lee corporation and cornered Ning Jing. However, their first priority was to save Li Juan. Once their attention was shifted, someone attacked them from shadows and left with Ning Jing after injuring the men who guarded her.

"Track her down. She must know the after math of hurting the Queen of Yu palace," Zhang Zhi Jun ordered ruthlessly.

"How is Jie's condition?" Bai Yu inquired in a trembling voice as he glanced at Lee Tae Yang.

"It doesn't seem good,"

"I don't understand. How did someone like her ended up getting hurt every single time?" Bai Zhu clenched his jaw in frustration. "I believed that her life as a commoner has molded her to survive the ruthless world. Whether she is a Queen or not. I was damn sure that she wasn't a damsel in distress who waits for somebody else to protect her,"

Huang Zi Tao was lost at words for a moment,

When he gathered the information about some random girl who claims to be the only girl child in Bai family, team leader Huang made sure to double check whether she has some dark secrets and almost expected, Li Juan to turn out to be some imposter or con artist.

But the results were surprisingly different than what he expected,

All of sudden, the thought Li Juan's unborn child occurred to Huang Zi Tao.

The door of ICU opened and a doctor in his scrubs walked outside. The people who were impatiently pacing in the corridor moved closer to inquire about Li Juan's condition.

Lee Tae Yang rose into his feet and approached the doctor with a desolate look.

"For now, patient is out of danger. Since she suffered hypoxia we need to wait untill she wakes up to check the brain damages," the doctor informed them with an indifferent face. Even if it is a good or bad news, as a doctor it was his duty to inform the patient's family.

"H-How is our child?" Lee Tae Yang asked as he tightly clenched his blood stained palms.

The doctor closed his eyes and took a deep breath before revealing the heart wrenching truth.

"We failed to save the foetus,"

"Nooooo!!!!" Lee Tae Min's agonised cry heard in the corridor.

"W-what...what did you say?" Bai Zhu stuttered as he asked. "Foetus?"

He turned to face Lee Tae Yang with a mortified look on his face.

"Young master Guan,"

Nothing fell on to Lee Tae Yang's ears as he slowly unclench his bloodied palms.

It wasn't the blood from a wound,

It was their unborn child.
