Lee Tae Yang was on an international client meeting, when Guan Tian barged into the meeting hall and dragged him out.

Since Lee Tae Min was unable to get in touch with his big brother, he had no other option to call Guan Tian Long who was in the city.

As soon as Guan Tian Long rushed his car to the city hospital, breaking a bunch of traffic laws, Lee Tae Yang was left on pins and needles.

Even though Li Juan never showed any symptoms of relapse in the last six months, deep inside his heart, he was bit worried about her health.

He tried his best to avoid any situations which might disturb Li Juan. He was extremely cautious when he dealt with Tang Wei Sheng as he even asked Guan Tian Long to bring their grandfather's DNA samples inorder to keep Li Juan distracted.

But all of his hardwork went into drain.

The moment Lee Tae Min's eyes fell on the figures who were darting towards the emergency room, he stood up from the seat.

"Hyung," He called Lee Tae Yang in a trembling voice,

"What happened?"

"The onlookers said that Noona suddenly fainted,"

"No it can't be...Uncle Gu assured that Xiao Li won't be having any relapses. Then how is that even possible?" Guan Tian Long wondered,

"She talked to Tang Wei Lan," Lee Tae Min glanced at the woman who was standing beside the glass door with an apologetic face.

"I've informed the doctor about Noona's previous medical condition. So they did some tests and kept her under observation,"

Suddenly the door of emergency room shot opened and a nurse came out,

"Miss Li's guardian, doctor wants to meet you, can you go and visit her in room number 104?"

"Yes," Lee Tae Yang immediately strode to the room number 104.

"Good morning doctor, I am the guardian of Li Juan, the patient who is in the emergency room," He introduced as soon as he entered the room.

"Please take a seat," The doctor scanned with the man who appeared worried to death, with her laser like eyes, "You are patient's?"

"Fiance," Lee Tae Yang replied,

"Hmm, does miss Li, take any medicines?" Doctor checked the results and asked him.

"No. But she have a medical history of TBI and was under medication for a long time,"

"Does she take any medicines?" She repeated.

"No. Her observation period ended three months ago, after that she never used any medicines. Doctor, is she alright? Is there anything to worry?" Lee Tae Yang couldn't help but to ask. However, the doctor's reply left him baffled.

"When are you getting married?" She moved the test results to him.

He stared at the lady doctor in doubt and opened his mouth to answer,

"We haven't decided the dates, but probably in next two months,"

"It would be more appreciable if you don't delay it any further," The doctor said with a serious tone and all of sudden a warm smile bloomed on her face,

"Congratulations mister, you are going to be a father,"

Lee Tae Yang was left speechless as he hold to the result of Li Juan's serum test result.

"She is just shocked and obviously tired, nothing else. But you must take her to a OB-GYN and should start with the check up,"

"Yes doctor, thank you," He thanked the doctor and walked out of the room in daze.

He himself was a doctor and how did he failed to notice that every single change happening with Li Juan might be the symptoms of pregnancy.

And Li Juan, she didn't mention anything about missing the periods or anything. Did she purposefully hid the news of her pregnancy?

"Hyung, what did the doctor say?" Lee Tae Min asked his brother who appeared lost in thoughts.

"Xiao Li woke up...you better go and meet her," Guan Tian Long suggested and pushed his brother towards the ER.

However moving towards the ER, Lee Tae Yang quickly stopped in his tracks,

"Hyung, is there anything wrong?" Tae Min called out monotonously.

"Both of you...you are no longer going to be the youngest baby at home," Lee Tae Yang informed them before going inside,

"What did he say?"

"Minah, be ready to welcome a nephew or niece in nine months," Guan Tian Long explained with a smile.

"Noona is... Oh my god," Lee Tae Min screamed in happiness as he held tightly to his brother's hand.

They are going to be uncles!!!!

At the same time, inside the emergency room, Li Juan held tightly to Lee Tae Yang's arms as he remained silent. His disheveled hair and reddened face was enough to tell that he indeed had a difficult time while she was unconscious.

"Did I scare you?" Li Juan asked in feeble voice. However Lee Tae Yang refused to respond to her question as he stared nonchalantly.

"Are you angry with me?"

Again, no response from him.

"Yangyang...say something,"

Lee Tae Yang let out a sigh and loosened his stiff frame,

"Do you have anything to tell me?"

"I want to talk to Lanlan, is she still out there?" Li Juan inquired in a low tone,

He was taken aback by her unnatural demand. He expecting that Li Juan is going to tell him about their baby. But instead of that, she asked about her friend.

"Can you tell her to come inside?"

Lee Tae Yang stood up from the seat without any hesitations and brought Tang Wei Lan inside the ER.

Tang Wei Lan looked at the woman lying on the bed with an indifferent face.

Her eyes darted to the man who stood on the corner with a frosty demeanor.

The solemn silence in the room was enough to indicate that Tang Wei Lan's presence was not welcomed by Li Juan.

"Lily...I am..I am," Tang Wei Lan stuttered as she tried to control her tears, "I was wrong...i was wrong...i thought gege hurt you and you...you..didn't even tell-,"

"Is that the real reason?" Li Juan's voice lacked any endearing emotions as she interrogated,

"Tang Wei Lan, is that the reason why you ruined my life?"

"I've never...not even for once thought about ruining your life," Tang Wei Lan feared the ice cold glare of Li Juan. It was something which she never experienced from her friend.

"Whatever I did, it was for you...i thought you deserved better...i thought you will be happy with a man instead of being with a woman like me,"

Every single word which fell from Tang Wei Lan's mouth, struck Lee Tae Yang like lightning. What is he hearing?

While Li Juan had short hair, he himself witnessed how people used to mistake her as a boy, even girls used to approach her. But this was something different.

"I loved you...i loved you a lot...more than anyone else in this world," Tang Wei Lan confessed the words which she wished to say for a long time,

"I wished to give you all the happiness you deserved and when I saw you struggling, i couldn't-"

"What made you think i wasn't happy at that time?" Li Juan asked in a steely voice.

"Its true that i grew up without my father, but I was always happy since i had a mother who fulfilled the duty of a mother as well as a father. We never had fancy dinner, but I was happy that I was able to have three meals of the day. Even when the entire school bullied and tortured me, I was happy...i was glad that I had you and Wei Sheng Ge.

I admit that I refused to tell you whatever happened between Wei Sheng Ge and me on that day...I was worried that it would break your heart to know that your perfect brother is ill," Li Juan stopped for a moment and continued,

"But still i made up my mind to tell you the truth. However, by that time, you left the country. Things wouldn't have been the same if you decided to stay,"

"I know...i know that an apology won't erase any of the pain that I've caused, but Lily," Tang Wei Lan tried to kneel down.

"Don't," Li Juan's voice had an unnatural dominating power, that Tang Wei Lan felt that she was subconsciously frozen by her command.

"An apology won't make any difference. Nothing would suffix the pain i had to endure.

But as I grew up, I have learnt to see the goodness in everything. That pain and sufferings have brought me to my biggest happiness," Li Juan's voice softened as she glanced at Lee Tae Yang,

"Some one who always stood with me, no matter how harsh was the situation or how bad did I hurt him. He never left me and ran away like a coward. He stood with me.

I am happy that I've met him...I'm happy that i love him and it gives me immense pleasure to tell you, that someone else is also going to be part of our happiness,"

Tang Wei Lan looked at Li Juan in disbelief. She expected much more emotional and fierce reaction from Li Juan against someone who ruined her life . But Li Juan treated the entire situation in aloofness.

"I hope you will also find your happiness rather than holding on to someone who will never be part of your life," Li Juan concluded with a harsh remark.

"And i appreciate you, for finally showing the guts to confess your feelings," Li Juan's lips curled into a bitter smile, "There was a time in my life, when I wished to hear it, but not anymore,"

"You knew it?" Tang Wei Lan's eyes widened in shock, "When did you..?"

"Forbidden love, didn't you write it for me?" Li Juan asked,

"Forbidden love," was the song which brought Tang Wei Lan's name into the list of famous pianists in the country. It was her own composition which tells the story of two star crossed lovers.

Tang Wei Lan always loved to play that song for Li Juan.

"I am sorry that I was little bit late to understand your feelings but i hope that you should move on with your life,"

Tang Wei Lan's mind was in absolute chaos as she stood mortified. Li Juan already knew about her feelings and once waited for her confession. But with one mistake, she ruined whatever relationship they had. She even had a fair share in ruining her brother's life.

The Li Juan she loved and wished to protect was no where to see.

That Li Juan was dead and the person who is infront of her eyes, was somebody else.

There is no place for Lanlan in her life.

"Good Bye," Tang Wei Lan said a single word and left the room with a broken heart.

As soon as they were left alone in the room, Lee Tae Yang walked towards the bed and sat beside Li Juan.

"Why are you looking at me like this?" Li Juan asked when she met with Tae Yang's piercing gaze.

"Aren't you being too kind to her? Sometimes being magnanimous to the wrong people will only bring trouble," He advised her.

"Why do you think that I was being kind to her?" Li Juan pointed out casually,

"I've never talked to her like this. The cold and distant tone in my voice is enough to make her live in guilt for the rest of her life," She assured him.

"The physical pain caused by people fades as time goes, but the pain caused by someone's words, it will remain fresh in memory even during one's last moment,"

"Of course, you do have your own way to torture others. But I didn't understand one thing, why did you say that there was time you wished to hear her confession?" Lee Tae Yang was confused by her statement.

There is no way that Li Juan likes women,

"Do you believe me if I say that there was a thin line of distinction between friendship and love between us?"

"I will believe every single thing you say, but not this," Lee Tae Yang chortled as he pulled her cheeks.

"Why?"

Lee Tae Yang gulped as he saw her burning eyes.

"You liked her brother,"

"But I've met Tang Wei Lan before her brother," Li Juan blatantly said, "Even on our first meeting, she gave me a feeling of someone whom i always loved and cherished," She sniggered as she tried to recollect,

"Like some kind and lovely princess who left her title and kingdom, only to be with me,"

"What about me then? Whom I?" Lee Tae Yang asked in an agitated voice.

"Wait a minute, is that jealousy I am seeing?" Li Juan blurted out as she saw his sulking face.

She was surrounded by men and rarely she saw Tae Yang being jealous about others. But he is actually jealous when Tang Wei Lan entered as a contender?

"Oh my god...Yangyang," Li Juan tried to hold his chin, but he immediately moved away from her reach.

"Uffoooo...what should I do with this jelly bean hubby?" She took his palm and tried to cajole him.

"I admit that you are not the first person whom I had romantic feelings...but right now...the person I love the most on this whole world is you, Yangyang,"

"Hmmm,"

"Hmmm? That's how you are going to reply?"

"Hmm,"

Looking at Lee Tae Yang's robotic expression, Li Juan let out a sigh and forcefully captured his cheeks as she stared deep into his dark obsidian eyes.

"Mr Lee," She called out in angelic voice, "Do you know that you are going to be a father?"

Though Lee Tae Yang knew it earlier, hearing it from Li Juan meant something different.

Her smile which is laced with shyness, her sparkling eyes, the tenderness in her voice, even the rhythm of her breathing made him go crazy.

Lee Tae Yang felt like his heart jumping in joy as she took his palm and placed on her abdomen.

"Do you know how happy was I, when I realized that there might be a little Yangyang growing inside me," Li Juan's coal black eyes glistened as she teared up in happiness, "It won't be just you and me, anymore...we are going to have a baby...we are going to be a family...a family of our own,"

"Hmm,"

She was left baffled for a moment. She clearly know how much Lee Tae Yang loved children. It was evident on his gestures whenever he takes care of her like a baby. But what happened to him now? Is he not happy with news?

However Li Juan's doubts dissipated when she saw the rippling joy in his eyes as he tried hard to maintain a stoic facade.

"Again hmm? If you are going to reply like -" Li Juan's words were muffled as her lips were captured by Lee Tae Yang. He moved his hand which is placed on her abdomen and wrapped her into a tight hug.

Li Juan was froze in surprise. His kiss was gentle yet passionate...it was enough to prove that how happy he was to know about their baby.

Her stiff demeanor soften as she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him back.
