Zhang Zhi Jun was forced to wake up from continuous ringing of the doorbell. He woke up from the bed and went directly to open the door.

It was Ye Ling,

He appeared with a refreshing smile at Zhang Zhi Jun's doorstep wearing his workout clothes.

"Good morning," he grinned at Zhang Zhi Jun who is still half asleep.

"Bro Ling, why are you here in the morning?"

He did inform Ye Ling that he has returned to Jing city and but he never expected that Ye Ling will appear early in the morning.

"I found a place which sells excellent meat buns and I thought I will bring you some." Ye Ling said with an innocent expression.

Zhang Zhi Jun looked at him in confusion and unconsciously looked at the direction of the guest room.

"What, you are not inviting me inside?" Ye Ling peeped inside and asked him.

"Don't tell me you got a girl inside? he teasingly said to the man who refused to let him inside.

"Yes, I got a girl." Zhang Zhi Jun opened the door and let Ye Ling inside.

"Aye, I know you are not a person like that."

"Suit yourself, let me go and freshen up." Zhang Zhi Jun instructed and walked towards his room.

Ye Ling and Zhang Zhi Jun had a close relationship with each other. So it was common for them to feel like home in each other's place.

Ye Ling went to the kitchen and took plates to serve the meat buns. He was taking milk from the fridge when he heard gentle footsteps followed by a soulful voice.

"Zhang Zhi Jun, can we pretend that nothing happened last night? I am extremely sorry for going overboard with my actions."

"There is a girl in the house?" Ye Ling left dumbfounded,

He closed the refrigerator's door to see the owner of the voice.

Li Juan was still in her sleep wears.

She looked exhausted to death.

"Yes."

"Damn, that was quick," Ye Ling chuckled. "When did you guys got together?"

"Less than a week" Li Juan answered.

"Take this," he handed over the milk cartons to Li Juan.

Li Juan walked towards the dining table obediently.

Ye Ling has already arranged the table. He came up with the plates and sat with Li Juan.

He served the meat buns and milk to her.

"Where is Zhang Zhi Jun?" Li Juan looked around for Zhang Zhi Jun.

"You didn't see him leaving?" Ye Ling asked her, "He went to freshen up,"

"Oh then, let's wait for him."

"When did you come, Xiao Juan, yesterday?"

"Do you remember my name?" Li Juan was surprised,

"Of course, I remember. How can I forget a pretty girl like you?"

Li Juan smiled awkwardly, she was still not adjusted to people calling her pretty.

"How can you look this pretty in the morning?"

"Do you usually tease people like this?" Li Juan asked him.

"What teasing, I was stating the facts." He grinned and continues, "How did you guys end up together? As far as I know that fellow is slow when it comes to relationships." Ye Ling transformed into his usual gossipmonger self.

"Princess," Zhang Zhi Jun's voice resonated in the room, Li Juan and Ye ling turned to look at him.

Did he call her princess? Ye Ling almost threw up blood. It hasn't turned a week and they are already using pet names.

"How are you feeling now?" Zhang Zhi Jun walked towards Li Juan.

"I think I went overboard yesterday." Li Juan said sheepishly.

"Yes, you did. You should have told me that you cannot-" Zhang Zhi Jun stopped mid-sentence when his gaze met with Ye Ling's bewildered expression.

The moment Ye Ling saw how exhausted Zhang Zhi Jun and Li Juan appeared, he smelled something fishy.

Not to mention, the hickeys on Li Juan's neck.

How could they openly discuss the strenuous exercise they had last night.

"What happened to you, bro?" Zhang Zhi Jun asked again

"Nothing," Ye Ling replied.

"Princess, take this and you will be alright," Zhang Zhi Jun sat next to Li Juan and handed her some tablets.

"I was, I was unable to go for the expedition assistant Yang. Why are you here? Do you live here, assistant Yang?" Li Juan immediately changed the topic.

"No miss, this is where boss lives, I came to take something." Yang Xiong said.

"This is where Tang Wei Sheng lives!"

"Does it mean that it is the place where they were once dreamed to live together?"

Li Juan quickly erased that thought from her mind.

"Let's go, princess," Zhang Zhi Jun and Ye Ling came out of the condo.

He noticed Li Juan who remained startled next to a stranger.

But this man, he was obviously older than him and was ordinary looking.

Other than having a kind and caring aura, he looked like a normal man.

They bid farewell and walked towards the elevator.

"Why she is here instead of searching for the lost city?" Yang Xiong looked at the couple who are walking. "And why is she is with a celebrity?"

"Don't tell me that as soon as she broke up with boss, she found herself another man."

Yang Xiong suddenly remembered that he also needed to take the elevator. Yang Xiong rushed towards the lift.
