"Are you leaving, sweetheart?"

Tang Wei Sheng asked the woman who appeared baffled at the sight of him.

Even though Tang Wei Sheng remained aloof, Li Juan's mind involuntarily held a defensive guard against him.

No one can predict when will he transforms into the treacherous monster.

Li Juan's survival instincts told her to run away and take cover from him. But If she backs off from him now, then he will definitely take her away.

Tang Wei Sheng silently examined Li Juan's action and remained in front of the door blocking Li Juan.

"CEO Tang," Zhang Zi Zhong tried to walk towards them. Tang Wei Sheng raised his eyes and glared at him which made Zhang Zi Zhong halt his advances.

"If you are not leaving now, let's go inside and talk." Tang Wei Sheng suggested.

Li Juan ignored him and walk away from him.

Tang Wei Sheng moved his position and blocked Li Juan from going out.

Li Juan glared at him with burning eyes.

"Where are you going?" Tang Wei Sheng asked her again.

"Why do you care?"

"Oh, If I don't care for my sweetheart, then who else will?

Tang Wei Sheng replied with a devilish grin and crossed his arms over the chest.

"Move out of my way."

"No," Tang Wei Sheng replied and leaned against the door frame.

"This is not going to end well." Li Juan sighed and tried to push him away from the door. However, Tang Wei Sheng's sturdy stature remained there like an iron pillar, passive to Li Juan's acts.

"Why are you doing this to me? Haven't you had enough fun torturing me? Let me go,"

Li Juan shouted in an infuriated voice.

"I asked you, where are you going?" Tang Wei Sheng enunciated each word.

"I want to go home."

"Don't go, stay with me."

"Why should I stay with you?"

"Because you are mine." Tang Wei Sheng claimed with a smug face. "We belong to each other."

"No." Li Juan firmly refuted his claim.

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"It's over."

"No, it is not."

"You are an engaged man." Li Juan tried to shut him with the truth.

"Yeah, you said yes to my proposal, sweetheart." Tang Wei Sheng smiled and touched her arm. Li Juan dodged his advances and moved away.

"Don't touch me."

"Okay," Tang Wei Sheng agreed and moved away from her. "Care to explain?" He pulled out the Jade ring from his pocket.

"It's over between us," Li Juan said in a firm tone.

"Have you ever thought from my side?" Tang Wei Sheng asked her.

"I told you everything, my situations, my problems everything. I asked you to wait, but you said you wanted to break up. You left me and came here to pursue your dream. And now, you are leaving again, why? Tang Wei Sheng's face appeared calm like a sea before the storm.

"Why are doing this to me, sweetheart? Why are you doing this to yourself, we love each other."

"Not anymore. It's over now."

Li Juan tried to go out once again. But this time Tang Wei Sheng grabbed her hand to stop her.

"Leave me...!"

Tang Wei Sheng tightened his grip on her hand.

"Leave me, I said leave me." Li Juan pushed him away from her.

"Oh, you even despise his touch?" Tang Wei Sheng pulled Li Juan's hand behind her back and pulled her to his side.

"Don't make me do crazy things, my moon." He whispered in Li Juan's ears and kissed her ear lobes.

"My moon, he called her moon- It is him, Tang Wei Sheng's alter ego." The hairs on Li Juan's neck stood up in horror.

The memories of that horrific night flashed before his eyes.

No, not again, she will not allow him to overpower and submit her before his lust.

Li Juan struggled to release herself from his embrace. After few minutes Tang Wei Sheng released her.

"You cannot win against me."

"I hate you." Li Juan pushed him away from her and wiped her tears. "I hate you more than anything in this world."

Li Juan rushed to open the door before she could touch the doorknob, Tang Wei Sheng grabbed her wrist and pulled her ( practically threw) inside the living room.

"Xiao Lili," Lin Li-Hui held Li Juan who was about to fall.

"I want to go...leave me…" Li Juan steadied herself and tried to move towards the doors.

"Boss please, let her go." Zhang Zi Zhong who witnessed their actions pleaded to him. Tang Wei Sheng looked at him.

"She is not going anywhere."

"I will go, "She was adamant like a kid who refuses to back off.

"No, sweetheart, you are not going anywhere." Tang Wei Sheng had an arrogant and grim expression smeared on his handsome face.

Li Juan looked at him with hostile eyes and despite her rejection, Tang Wei Sheng carried her in his arms.

"I hope you don't mind if I take a room," Tang Wei Sheng said and walked towards the first room he saw in the house.

"Hey, what are you doing? Leave her alone." Lin Li-Hui raised her voice.

"Leave me, you monster," Li Juan shouted on the top of her lungs.

"You can't do this to her, honey, call the police." Lin Li-Hui tried to stop Tang Wei Sheng.

"CEO Tang you cannot do this in my house." Zhang Zi Zhong blocked Tang Wei Sheng.

"Wait a minute," Tang Wei Sheng opened the door and pushed Li Juan inside the room. "Can you get me the keys?" Tang Wei Sheng locked the door and asked Zhang Zi Zhong. "Please,"

"What are you doing?" Lin Li Hui was furious.

"Wei Sheng Ge, open the door." Li Juan banged at the doors.

Tang Wei Sheng tightened the grip on the door handle.

"This is atrocity!" Lin Li-Hui tried to push Tang Wei Sheng away from the door.

"Even if you are the mighty ruler of Tang corporations, you can't do this to a woman."

Tang Wei Sheng looked Lin Li-Hui.

"Mrs Zhang, I want a favour from you,"

"You, leave my house, right now. Or else I will call the police." Lin Li-Hui warned him.

"I will leave, but please keep her here until I come back,"

"What are you saying?"

"She is ill, Manager Zhang." Tang Wei Sheng said with agonised eyes. "Li Juan is in grave danger. Juan is only alive because of the medicines."

"What is wrong with her ?" Zhang Zi Zhong asked him.

"Why don't we sit somewhere and talk? I am sure that Mrs Zhang has lots of questions. But get me the keys first,"

"No, open the door and let her go." Lin Li-Hui refused to listen to him.

" Okay, let me explain and I will let her go," Tang Wei Sheng tried to negotiate. "I give you my word."

"You go and talk to this sadist, I don't want to hear a word from him."

"Lili, please, let's listen to him and decide what should do?" Zhang Zi Zhong tried to pacify his wife.

Lin Li Hui finally agreed to listen to Tang Wei Sheng. But she refused to move away from the room.

"Li Juan was my junior at school. From our school days itself, we used to like each other.

Because of our different family backgrounds, she was scared to confess her feelings. She hid her feelings for ten years.

Finally, when we got together, that ridiculous engagement happened." Tang Wei Sheng began to explain his side of the story.

"You know how important is to have a corporate wedding in my family. I was ready to lose everything for her, my family, Tang Corporation-only to lead a normal life with her. All I ever want is to see her happy.

But when that engagement happened, Li Juan said that she doesn't want me.

She told me to be moral, to obey my family." Tang Wei Sheng stopped for a moment.

"If she rejected you, then you should stop chasing after her." Lin Li-Hui suggested.

"While Li Juan was in school, she had a head injury and it damaged her brain. She went to coma. After that incident, she can't handle any emotional trauma. She even went into a depressed state and tried to end her life. The only thing which helped her to survive was her studies and research. Recently we found that she was suffering from frequent relapses. And her condition is getting worse day by day. She was very excited to go for the expedition, but due to her poor health, she failed in the medical test and left the team on her own." Tang Wei Sheng shared everything which he knew about Li Juan.

"How am I supposed to stay calm knowing all these?"

"It's her choice whether to stay or leave, YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM HER." Lin Li-Hui was completely hostile towards Tang Wei Sheng.

"I'm the only one she got. Tell me, Mrs Zhang, should I stay away from her?

What if something happens to her when I am away?"

Tang Wei Sheng asked with burning eyes.

"I love her, I love her a lot.

I can make her mine and nobody will question me.

But more than anything else, I want her to stay alive. So please help me." Tang Wei Sheng requested them.

"What do you want us to do?" Zhang Zi Zhong was the first one to ask him. Tang Wei Sheng and Li Juan held a special place in his heart.

"Make her stay here. Protect her till I come back."

"And after that?" Lin Li Hui asked him while scrutinizing his face.

"You are engaged, CEO Tang, how are you going to take care of her? Don't tell me that you are forcing her to become your mistress."

"It is a matter of a few months, Mrs Zhang. Li Juan is my woman and she will remain as mine forever."

"Wow, I can't believe that I will hear something like this in the 21st century. Do you think that Li Juan will remain as yours forever?" Lin Li- Hui asked in a mocking tone.

"In this world, other than me Li Juan got no one." Tang Wei Sheng stated.

Upon hearing his answer Lin Li-Hui tried to control her urge to hit the young man sitting in front of her.

"You are nothing but a selfish person, CEO Tang."

"You needed to be selfish to attain something you love, Mrs Zhang."

"As you said, we will take care of her until you return." Lin Li-Hui told him. "But if Li Juan refuses to come with you, you have to leave her alone." She tried to try her luck in keeping Tang Wei Sheng away from Li Juan. Seeing Li Juan's actions towards Tang Wei Sheng it was evident that there are no feelings left between them.

"What do you think?"

"I agree. You have my word." Tang Wei Sheng agreed to Lin Li-Hui's demand.

"Thank you so much."

Tang Wei Sheng looked towards the closed door where he locked Li Juan.

She stopped banging at the door. "Let me see her one more time." He stood up from the sofa and walked towards the room.

Tang Wei Sheng opened the door and found Li Juan sitting on the floor and kept her head in the bed. She has fallen asleep.

He carried Li Juan and put her on to the bed.

Tang Wei Sheng lied down beside her and held her in an embrace.

"When was the last time he held her in an embrace?"

"I know what I have done was wrong. But sweetheart, that was for our good. You are the only one for me. I can't live without you."

He bent down and pressed his head onto her rising chest.

"I want to hear your heartbeats till the day I die."

He held his hand on her abdomen.

"I want you to bear my children."

I want to grow older with you, Juan."

Tang Wei Sheng placed a kiss on her neck.

His eyes got stuck on the phoenix tattoo on Li Juan's shoulder.

"She was mine, even before you've arrived. Don't even think about getting closer to her." He touched the tattoo and muttered.

Tang Wei Sheng immersed his canine teeth on to Li Juan's neck.

"You are my moon and you belong to me only."

Tang Wei Sheng glanced at Li Juan's sleeping face and planted a kiss on her lips.

"Wait for me," He slid the Jade ring into Li Juan's index finger.

Tang Wei Sheng rose from the bed and covered her with a blanket. He looked at her once again and walked outside.

"I am leaving her on your care, I hope you will take care of my Juan."

"Hmm, we will."

"Then I will leave,"

That night, Lin Li-Hui couldn't fall asleep. In the middle of the night, she waked her husband from sleep.

"Do you think that CEO Tang is telling the truth?"

Zhang looked at his wife in confusion.

"Why would he lie?"

"I didn't like the way he treats his girlfriend. Too authoritative."

"But he loves Miss Li," Zhang Zi Zhong said in a monotonous voice.

"His love has already turned toxic. Since Li Juan doesn't have a family she might've mistaken his sympathy as love. Or she might've liked him in the past, but now." Lin Li-Hui stopped for a moment. "I don't think a person like Li Juan will remain with someone who claims his power on her."

"You think so?"

"I got this weird gut feeling. Honey, why don't we help Xiao Lili?" Lin Li-Hui asked her husband.

"But how?"

"Let's look for Xiao Lili's family." Lin Li-Hui said in an excited voice. "I don't want that man to take care of her anymore."

Lin Li-Hui looked at Zhang Zi Zhong with hopeful eyes.

"Let's take her to Yun city."
