Celestial Peak Chapter 553

Inside the pool of blue and white, he dwells, the Origin General with the black and white lights. He was smiling ever so gently, he could see the lives inside these white lights, the forms they had before becoming their primal forms.
The Primordial Essence kept them alive even after death, and knowing what he must do, the Origin General closed his eyes, "I am sorry, my brothers and sisters."
He shed a tear as he tore them apart.
Their screams echoing in his mind.
===
Death has been stopped already. The Abyssal Demons extinguished without so much as a problem, yet, Wang Ling's expression wasn't that of joy nor excitement… he was, instead, intrigued.
In this fight, he sustained several sword slashes, yet he had yet to sustain any injury.
A mound of dead bodies, and hundreds of black and white wisps absorbed by tow Emperor Revenants. Their cultivation improved by leaps and bound, wings sprouted on their backs, the peak of the Devil and Holy Emperor Race.
"For being the mold, you are a bigger fool than we have expected. Allowing us to absorb ou—"
The Revenants moved without even finishing their words. Their swords glowed red, and calling upon the momentum the dead Revenants left behind, all the force left behind gave birth to a sword capable of slaying the Gods themselves.
Blood Seeking Sword — God Slayer.
Wang Ling, standing in the midst of the dead, without any blemish in his clothes did not say anything and allowed the Revenants' sword to advance all the way to his neck.
SlasH!
Wang Ling did not stop them, and as blood flowed out from his neck, Wang Ling still stood unfazed. They tried burying their swords deeper, and as blue, glowing blood of the All-Father laced the edge of their swords, Wang Ling finally decided to react.

He raised his brows and the Revenants attempted to fled, but Wang Ling just raised his hands and grabbed hold of their heads, crushing the heads next moment.
Thud.
The limp, and lifeless cold bodies of his clones fell on the ground and as he touched his neck, he looked at his glowing blue blood and picked up the laced sword. He had a thought, and he acted upon it without a moment's hesitation.
Slash!
Wang Ling severed his own hand. Every drop of his blood helped the flowers bloom. The foliage grew, the reeds and the vines sprouted to devour the bodies of the Revenants. A forest appeared in an empty meadow.
Picking up his arm, the Forest' growth slowed down, but Wang Ling's mind continued racing.
"So, mind telling us why you severed your hand? If you're growing senile… then that's no good for us." Two voices echoed at the same time. Holding their bodies, in pain, Yuan Qing and Yuan Ming.
"This body of mine is created by flesh formed from the God's Mark, and then reinforced by the All-Father's essence. My vitality is inexhaustible, and someday, I will be able to create worlds once I learn how to control this power. I have a regeneration capability that is beyond what I can imagine and even share it with others. It's not a stretch to say I am invincible."
Wang Ling said as he reached out to the twins' forehead, and sent his qi in their system. The qi of the All-Father quickly assimilated with the darkness and water in their bodies without so much as a problem. They were the Deities born from the All-Mother's blood, but Wang Ling was still the reason why Bai Xue could create life.
"So, other than acting all arrogant, what are you trying to say? Did you severe your hand to prove a point that only you can hurt yourself?" The twins said without a hint of respect.

Wang Ling tossed them the sword, "Swing that at me."
Yuan Ming just shrugged her shoulders and did what Wang Ling was trying to say. She expected nothing out of it and already prepared a hefty speech to praise Wang Ling's ego.
Slash!
She aimed for his neck, and Wang Ling moved back and raised his finger instead.
The twins' eyes widened seeing his white blood stain the ground and his finger become trash.
"…I did not expect that to happen… am I going to die?" Yuan Ming looked at her twin.
Yuan Qing watched as the sword disintegrate and then shrugged her shoulders, "Maybe."
"Don't worry you two, no one is going to die… I think. Just don't tell it to any of the Origin Race. They might hang you for this."
"Can we tell Qinyang about this?"
"…no." Wang Ling picked up his finger, and reattached it to its end. He could regrow a finger, but he didn't know if the severed finger would disappear. A finger of his might become a World Treasure if he wasn't careful, "More important, Ming, did you use all your power behind that swing??"
"Barely used any strength. I just swung it to make you shut up about being invincible." Yuan Ming stated without shame. She reverted to her useful self after learning she wasn't going to die from severing a being like Wang Ling.
"I see, then that settles it. It has nothing to do with my physical strength but the sword itself. Its effects didn't lessen because another being used it, and you didn't feel anything upon touching its hilt, else you would have known.
"The sword I used was weaker than a World Treasure, it did not break even when I swung it, meaning my blood can reinforced the thing, but may also corrupt it with time… but, what if it can be harnessed properly… or if it appears before me in another form?"
A glowing white sword appeared in Wang Ling's mind…
He smiled, and then he burst out laughing, "The Primordial Essence… that sword… and the death of my children… that bastard... is this how he killed the predecessor?"
"Wang Ling, what are you talking about?" The twins asked.
"Nothing, I just learned I'm no longer invincible."
