Celestial Peak Chapter 550

The peace was broken with Wang Ling's sudden awakening. The bed he lay unconscious on was destroyed as he stood up in a haste. His abrupt and unhindered movement caused the qi to go berserk opening the roof to a more… "open" style of sorts.
The roof was destroyed and so was the furniture inside. Wang Ling stood there, his eyes wide open as beads of sweat formed on his forehead, something had gone horribly wrong.
"Wang Ling, calm… down!" a loud, calm, and almost deadpan shout echoed and reached Wang Ling. From the mountains, a black and blue light pierced the air and reached Wang Ling striking him on the head.
The mountains shook, and the house's foundation crumbled to nothingness destroying what was left… yet, Wang Ling did not yet budge, "Is something the matter?" said the two assaulters with their foot on Wang Ling's face.
Wang Ling looked at the twin, Yuan Ming, and Yuan Qing, his expression dire, "You two, do you know how to get out of the Deity Paradise? There is someplace I have to—no…"
Wang Ling stopped talking as his expression suddenly warped and changed from that of sadness, "Dammit, I couldn't even do anything! SHIT!"
BOOM!
Wang Ling shot up to the skies and forcefully tore open space itself just so he could leave. The twins watched from below and began contemplating… they finally decided to follow him after a few minutes.
[What do you think happened?]
[Who knows? Wang Ling had always been an enigma. But if I had to guess, I'd say it must have something to do with what Senior Akil said earlier. Anyway, let's just go after Wang Ling outside the World and then come back if he's already gone. We can tell the others, we did our best that way.] Yuan Qing answered Yuan Ming through telepathy.

The twins, however, suddenly began looking around the Portal created by Wang Ling. Its construct was magnificently built, its golden outline created without any usage of a medium made it seem perfect—because it really was.
They passed through the portal and then, stopped as they already found Wang Ling floating in the emptiness of space staring off into the distance where Abyssal Portals opened. The twins already lifted the seal on their cultivation allowing them to see partial of what Wang Ling could. Their eyes widened in disbelief.
"What happened here?" Yuan Qing questioned. It hadn't even been a complete two months since they left the outside of the Deity Paradise and all had already gone sideways.
The Deity Paradise was located South East of the Cosmos, just on the edge of the Outer Ring and the Seven Lowest Worlds. Wang Ling could see the damage dealt to the Cosmos… he was unable to say anything, and then, he turned his attention to his right and then to his left.
His eyes moved left and right, up and then down trying to gather as much information as he could. He could sense it, the change in the air… he could not say anything, and though he wanted to make his move… there were too much.
The Worlds were too far apart for him to cover, and Wang Ling, despite being who he was could not reach them. He could feel the fluctuating qi, there were hundreds of battlefield at the moment.
Wang Ling had always been decisive with his decisions, but, right now, he was the opposite of who he was. Something was hindering him… something that did not exist before, or at least something that had been weak for a long time—emotions.
Wang Ling did not appreciate this weakness, [I cannot do anything if I am bound by emotions. The reason why the Predecessor failed is because he hesitated to kill the Origin General, I cannot be the same as him.]

Wang Ling had lived for a long time with his emotions shut off. He only shows his softness to those closed to him and those he regards as family. The All-Father of before, sees the whole Universe as his child… not Wang Ling.
The Universe was but the creation and as for the Origin Race… his earlier outburst already spoke volumes of what he felt. The Origin Race, to him, now, stands atop the logic and rationality… it was unacceptable for him.
When the risk was at an all-time high, he couldn't have been soft and weak become his downfall. Wang Ling forcibly dragged his emotions down the rag and had it disappear to clear his mind, "Angel, Azazil, where is the place with the most concentrated number of Origin Race members?"
Wang Ling spoke in the air.
The Twins heard no one answer back and when they tried to voice their opinions thinking it was them being asked, Wang Ling, raised his finger, "Not right now, you two, I'm talking to someone."
The twins' expression twisted, but, they could only shrug their shoulders thinking it was something far beyond them. They were too lazy to even try comprehending his thoughts.
"The largest area would be in the middle of the Universe. I can feel both Garm there." Azazil answered.
"The Holy Race is gathered in the same place as the Devils, Philas is also in the middle of the Universe." Angel added.
Wang Ling nodded, "I see, they are there, but, tell me, who are Philas and Garm?"
"They are the GodKings, gosh, how much more are you kept in the dark, Wang Ling?" the twins standing behind Wang Ling stated with snark.
Wang Ling clicked his tongue and turned around to say something, but… his eyes widened as he quickly moved his body and push the twins back into the Portal.
The twins felt immense pressure in their chests. Their ribcage caved in and they coughed up litters upon litters of blood, they thought they were going to die, [Was it that irritating?] they both thought to themselves but then, they saw the most unimaginable sight in this Universe.
Wang Ling had his left hand severed by a man coming out of an Abyssal Tear bearing the same face as him.
"I knew you'd do that." The man in the Abyssal Tear said with a passive smile.
Wang Ling's eyes widened seeing his own face on his assailant that could actually cut off his arm… [He's no Revenant…what the hell is he doing here!?] Wang Ling immediately made the connection.
And as the two met eyes, the two Wangs finally reunited.

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
