"Protectors, huh, from slaughtering millions of evil cultivators that threaten the Wang Family and resources for our growth, to killing trillions to save our Family… doesn't seem that different to me." Wang Ling laughed realizing the truth of his current life.

Bai Xue thought back to it, and, in the end, laughed, "It does seem like that, huh…"

The two continued their move and circled the entire Deity Paradise in a matter of minutes. The pair could scan the world in a heartbeat, sending out their Spirit Senses and spanning the world's entirety in a manner of seconds. But, Wang Ling and Bai Xue chose to observe the world through this mundane means.

Though it took them minutes to circumvent the world and sat atop Qinyang's rooftop where they sat in silence, they did not mind. They overlooked the horizon that was about to set, their minds settled.

"Xue, I understand that the previous incarnation and you are the same… but I remember her consciousness and yours are different. So, what happened to the first Mother of Beast?" Wang Ling's surprised Bai Xue.

"Well, upon your death, she escaped into the deepest parts of my psyche, I regained my control of myself, and because of my fear that she'll touch Qinyang, I expunged her from my very existence. She is no longer inside me as we speak."

"Is that so… well, I don't even know if the predecessor still exists in the void, it doesn't really matter." Wang Ling just smiled wryly, and a sense of hollowness was carved out from his heart. It was painful though he had not even known of what it was.

A sigh escaped the tiny fox's mouth, "Do you really need to know?"

"It is a request from the one who came before me. He left me a simple message to tell his "other half" it was but a sentimental gibberish he held within. I do not even know if it was the truth or not, though I am more inclined to believe that it is."

"…fine, but, when I take you to her, I won't be helping you." Bai Xue jumped off Wang Ling's head and floated right in front of him.

Wang Ling's eyes glistened from excitement, "Really!?"

Noticing this, Bai Xue shook her head, [It appears his awakening isn't entirely complete… something else is still tugging upon the Chaos Qi, and it is not just the Gray Figure.]

Standing up Wang Ling walked on space he appeared next to Bai Xue.

Bai Xue lifted her front paws and then dragged her claw in mid-air where there was nothing. Her claw glowed a crimson light, around this claw, reality bend according to her will, and Bai Xue manipulated it to her demands.

To anyone else, it would sound as though a light breeze had passed, but to Wang Ling, it was grating and piercing. Quickly, he isolated the space around them, fearing it would disturb Qinyang's slumber. Wang Ling wanted to ask what was happening, though he was already beyond the comprehension of all except one, there were still many he has yet to understand.

Thankfully, his questions would be answered, though not in a verbal sense, as a Portal appeared before him. Like sharp scissors through cloth, Bai Xue tore open space, "Follow me." She said and stepped onto the other side of the tear.

After Wang Ling stepped into the tear, the air changed tremendously. On the other side of the Portal, was no open plains or a world kept in a pocket dimension. Instead, Wang Ling found himself in a narrow path similar to that of a cave.

The atmosphere became heavier his body experienced goosebumps he had not felt in tens of thousands of years. However, what was even more terrifying was the fact that the gravity in the realm was much heavier than the constant weight of the Cosmos outside.

If Wang Ling hadn't awakened this body of the All-Father, he would have already turned to blood splatter on the ground, [Right now, I can grasp the law of space, gravity is but another variable to be manipulated… but, I can't see to control it in this place.]

Wang Ling moved his hand and found that his movement was very much restricted and around his body, the wind gathered, as though it chained latching on him, "Xue, what's this place? Is it another Planet you kept inside the Deity Paradise? If so, I want to examine the outside world."

Bai Xue laned on top of Wang Ling's shoulders and wrapped herself around his neck, "Though you're correct that this is a world inside the Deity Paradise, this place is not a planet or a world. If you seek the surface, this is already the surface you are searching for, nothing else. This is the world, this path leading to an opening in the world, nothing more… here we are."

Reaching the end of the path, Wang Ling's eyes widened.

It was a massive cavern.

He looked in amazement as a being radiated with power floated inside a bubble in the middle of the cavern. In front of him was a giant figure, something that was alive and wasn't, a Red Fox with nine tails yet its body was mangled beyond recognition.

That alone was enough to surprise Wang Ling, however, something else caught his attention. Around the deteriorating Red Fox, were four shrines of the corresponding color of White, Azure, Vermillion, and Black.

These Shrines held onto individual Eggs, and from it, Wang Ling could feel the beat of life. When he approached beyond the entrance.

"After I expunged the first consciousness, it materialized to that of a deposing version of my body. A Fox with Red Fur that manipulates space and time to its will. It erases everything it wants, and so, I sealed it in another world when I created the Deity Paradise. Other than you, no one else knows of this place…"

"But, what about those four eggs, are they—"

"What do you think?" Bai Xue snickered, "Those are the First Four Deities… The Four Guardian Deities… they betrayed me after the Red Fox's materialization… I told you, the Deities are splintered."
