Celestial Peak Chapter 525

The two GodKings looked at Bai Xue and to Wang Ling. Their faces were inscrutably uncomfortable, they did not know what to say. Should they question why the Mother of Beast was atop his head?
But such a thing would be nothing short of blasphemous act in accordance to their Race's value. The two were incapable of even thinking straight. They risk offending the All-Father, the Mother of Beast, and their own values if they say anything.
In the end, the two knowing GodKings' mouth were left gaping open, incapable of speech. He laughed, and then waved his hand, "Do not mind her presence, she sat there long before I became the All-Father anyway. It is the natura course for the two of us."
The two GodKings let out an "Oh" sound from their mouths.
"Oh right, I almost forgot, Ling, have you gotten your own World Treasure?" Bai Xue remembered something and asked.
"No, I was in frequent movement since I got reincarnated, so I haven't had the chance to search for one. Though I would have wanted one so that I could integrate it to Blood Seeker and further its strength. I reckon its foundation will collapse if I swing it once now."
"Is that so, then, this is perfect timing…" Bai Xue raised one of her white paws, pointing at the Devil, "You."
"Yes, Mother of Beast?" Garm respectfully lowered his head. Even if their Origin and Deity Races were in constant conflict with one another and frequents in berating one's race over the other, he would never look down upon or even dream of thinking he's beyond the great Mother. If he does, that meant he's also looking down on the All-Father. Such a thought would be deserving of venturing to the underworld and back a million times.
"Do you have the Nine Massacred Realm Sphere?" Bai Xue then turned to Philas, "You, do you carry with you the Goden Arrowhead of Nihility?"

"I… do not, I apologize. but I do not carry a World Treasure with me when I travel, Mother of Beast. Only the necessity. The World Treasures are still kept in my Empire's Blood Room." Garm explained.
"Like Garm, but the World Treasures, are safely kept still in the Mausoleum of Gold as it had before when you visited." Philas added.
"Is that so, then, go get it for Ling here." Bai Xue patted Wang Ling's head ever so lightly, "His sword is now mostly comprised of Mortal Energy and will collapse upon a single touch of his qi, he is in need of it more than ever, and he would be very grateful if he can have one that is very much compatible with his attribute and quirks. He might even thank the fastest who brings it to him or even a simple gesture of a heartfelt compliment."
Bai Xue ignited the two's spirit thinking of Bai Xue's words. The little fox smiled, it clearly had experience in dealing with beings like these two.
BOOM!
The two disappeared from where they sat and Bai Xue opened a path out of her dimension as they did so. The two GodKings were just about to disappear into the darkness of space, when, Wang Ling called for them "Come back."
FWU!
Like a storm, the two returned kneeling before the All-Father even though they had been thousands of kilometers away, "What is it, Father?" Garm and Philas spoke in unison not letting one speak first over the other.
"I have another task for the two of you if you are going out into the cosmos anyway—Wang Ling smiled with gentleness as he looked at them.
===
From left to the right, the Deities watched Bai Xue's tail wave as she rested atop Wang Ling's head. A majority was puzzled by the sight, but more were amused and smiling. Seeing the Mother alone was enough for them to have a bright day.

"Oh, they are talking again."
"Indeed, I wonder, what kind of conversation are they having?"
Wang Ling and Bai Xue's mouth would open from time to time as they walked, but no one could hear their words. Surrounding their vicinity was an invisible wall of independent space masking their voice and keeping the temperature around them constant.
The All-Father and All-Mother waved as they went around the World Bai Xue kept against the constant flow of reality and space, "Your control of space has increased tremendously, it's almost amazing seeing what you can do. Even locking a world in a different dimension altogether, such a feat I didn't think possible, even as I am now."
"Well, I had to master it in order for me to create this pocket dimension. I had to hide Qinyang from the bastard trying to kill us. I would have loved to have brought your family here, but, your father and mother refused to do so… saying, that it would be for the best if the reeducation of Deities is to be taken cared of by my own hands without any humans around."
"Wait, did Mother and Father knew of Qinyang?"
Bai Xue shook her head, "They did not. I already gave birth to Qinyang halfway through my seclusion, telling everyone I was grieving for your death. I couldn't risk telling them, in the off chance the bastard got hold of the information. Again, why do you think I created this place in the first place?"
Wang Ling laughed, "Is that the reason why you cut off the treaty, three thousand years into it?"
"You know your stuff for being born so late. But, yes, though only partially. The Deities at the time also in disconnect with one another and more so to the Origin Races and the Mortals. Often, they would argue and fight."
"They did? Hmm, didn't get to read that one."
"Every record of this was buried to avoid any panic, even Butler Sun, and the Wang Family, other than little Yue knew of this event."
"You mean, Wang Yue?"
Bai Xue nodded, "Yes, the little one was the one who told me to leave and avoid any unnecessary war. Anyway, I left with the Deities and had them cooperate with one another, and even encouraged breeding with other races. So far… this is what we got."
On what seemed to be a normal plateau was a carved, hallowed area where floating Deity Eggs of the Third Generation resided. The Eggs floated thanks to Bai Xue's spatial control.
Inside the spatial bubble were different elements surrounding the Egg.
Lightning Storms, Flowing Magmas, Dark Fogs, all sorts of elemental anomalies were contained to surround the Eggs. These Eggs were from different Deities, of different races, and needed proper care for them to blossom.
"I control space and create stable realities around these Eggs so they can avoid dying and eventually hatch. These Children would become the future generations of the Deities… one that would one day repopulate what had been lost."
"It seems like you have changed."
"Well, I still love slaughtering and torturing assholes, there are just some additions. Change is an eventuality after coming to the realization of truths and you must have realized it by now, Ling.
"Why you mellowed down from taking lives, why your actions are now more towards to letting them flourish. Why you are more inclined to root out the black sheep.
"Our roles in the Universe are not only to be its Rulers, but also the keepers of Order — We are its Protectors. "

What do you wish for?
Norman hated his life. His peers ignored and bullied him. His mother nagged. His father was never home. Norman desperately wished for a miracle, but his prayers went unanswered. Until one night. **************************************** Note: This story is going to be very short. I would recommend reading it all at once. This story started out as a challenge I set for myself. I've recently felt bogged down because of the need to write more. That's why each chapter will be only 300 words long. Exactly 300 words long. At this point, I've pretty much written the whole thing, so I'm very confident that there will only be eight chapters.
