Celestial Peak Chapter 516

BOOM! Lightning crackled with the explosion of thunder. The Azure Lightning lacerated the wind, incinerating everything that it touched. From the world of the Deities a punch so powerful that it left the pocket dimension and travelled thousands of kilometers into the outside Cosmos.
Creak—the door leading to the passengers' area opened as Butler Sun was awakened from all that had happened, "What is happening… up here?"
He stopped his words seeing the smoke coming up, "Are we under attack?"
Quickly, he brought out the Black Spear and got ready to face the beings who dared touch the Youngest Miss' Vessel, "I'm going to kill this little bitch quickl—
"Don't try so hard, Elder Sun, it's not an attack. It's a greeting." The twins walked past Butler Sun, "We're going to be securing Ling's Egg, want to help?"
Butler Sun did not answer.
The twins looked back, annoyed "It was The Devil who got struck, and it's not a Revenant."
"Oh, then there is nothing to worry about then." Butler Sun lost interest altogether. If it was the Devil Emperor against a being that was not the Revenant, then… all is well.
The billowing slowly dissipated quickly with time. On the helm of the Sailer were two silhouettes, "How was that fist! Devil?"
A young man with Azure Scales and Hair shouted, he was smiling, his arrogance unbound.
But, to the bravado he exhibited, he received the response of a single… and simple… exasperated, sigh of disappointment.
Kareem stood on the helm, holding the wheel, looking down upon the pitiful man with azure hair and scales who attempted to strike him down. The Devil Emperor Kareem was unfazed despite the clean hit on the face, "You call yourself a Dragon? How weak. You put disgrace on your Race."
Kareem's black hair moved with the wind and as the flabbergasted expression of the Young Azure Dragon reflected on the Devil's eyes, Kareem clenched his fist, "Now that you had your turn, it is time for mine, right? Grit your teeth and show me the Dragon's Pride."

Since time immemorial, there had always been beings at the top of everything. When the Universe has created the usage of weapons were introduced to all Race, however, where did they start? These weapons, where did they come from? Simple, the Devils.
The Devils who have the most battle aptitude physique create the weapons, start their own forms and mastered a Martial Path. Amongst the Devils, the right-hand man of the Devil Race's GodKing was a master of the Fist Arts… the single most powerful fist in the entire Universe the Devil Emperor — Kareem.
The Azure Dragon knew that, and he was not stupid. He threw a fist at the Devil Emperor Kareem's face, he tested his strength like they had been doing for eons, continuing tradition, he grits his teeth like he was told and prepared his body and soul, "DO IT!"
The Young Azure Dragon accepted his fate and waited for the fist to arrive. Kareem smiled in delight, "It seems like you weren't a disgrace as I had thought… now, take this!"
The Azure Dragon saw the fist coming for him and death was quickly put in his thoughts. The young Dragon felt the pressure and then—BOOM! — the fist stopped right before his face, having his eardrums ruptured but still keeping his life.
Kareem stopped his fist just in time, sparing the young Azure Dragon's life, "You steeled your resolve and was ready to face it head-on despite know I coul—oh, he passed out… welp, another war is starting… wait, I can hear his heartbeat. He's alive."
"Thank you for keeping him alive, Grandpa Kareem."
Kareem gleefully smiled hearing Qinyang call him Uncle, "Young Miss might now know this but… the Dragons loved doing this since the Primordial Age."
"What do you mean used to? Are we not keeping the tradition alive, Emperor Kareem?" from above, a beautiful matured woman and seven Deities of third-generation descended, "Mind handing me my son, Emperor Kareem?

The seven Azure Dragons got the boy out of Kareem's hands, all of them looking at the one he punched, "We will take care of him."
"If the Ancestors are awake, they would be thrilled to have you."
"I doubt that… heh, so little Olivia has a son now. Last time I saw you, you were nothing but a million-year-old baby dragon warrior fighting with my Vestas. What, are you still mad she beat you when you were on the Blood Canyon?"
"Hoho, so was the good times, was it not. Also, it was not I who was defeated, it was Vestas who—you know what, let us forget about the past. After all, we know the truth."
Olivia laughed.
Kareem laughed.
The two laughed… but they wanted to tear each other a new asshole the very moment they saw each other.
The two were only being considerate in front of the Young Miss.
It was no secret that amongst the Deities, Azure Dragons hold the most rivalry against Devils. After all, the title of the strongest physique belongs to the Devils and the Dragons beg to differ.
Also, Olivia, the oldest of the Second-Generation Azure Azure Dragons has had a rivalry going on with Kareem's Wife, the Devil Empress, Vestas.
"Hohoho, let us talk of this matter some other time, Sir Kareem. I have other business regarding our Young Miss… oh yeah, did you know that she is—"
"I already know and I have a lot to talk you Deities about keeping this from us."
"Yes, yes, now… I have a lot to talk to the Young Miss."
Olvia smiled at her most respected and loved Young Miss, "How good of you to return Young Miss… and it seems like you brought the Devils with you… so you decided to play peacemaker when you went snuck out of the World?
"Sigh, if they are awake right now, they would be most disappointed for what you have done. Not only did you left the world, abandoning the responsibilities vested upon you by your Dearest Mothers, but you also did it by drugging your seniors and attacking your Guardians. You even had the daughters of the Great Seniors act as your partners in crime. I know you are the Young Miss but please know that your actions cannot go against what is right and what is wrong. Please know better next time."
Qinyang lowered her head and pouted, "I am sorry Aunt Olivia, we met on the way, actually. Please don't be too mad…" she apologized profusely.
Qinyang's face contorted from guilt. She failed to even look into Olivia's eyes, only looking down on the ground and fidgeting about.
Seeing this Kareem's brows instantly met at the middle of his brows. Incensed, he was ready to punch the Dragon, but seeing her bloodshot eyes, he quickly understood, [This is more torture for her than anything… woah, her palms are bleeding from clenching her fist too hard.]
He decided to keep quiet.
"—so, can you tell me why you wanted to make peace with the Devils? Is it to surprise the mother when she wakes up?"
"No… I went out in order to…find my Father."
"Oh, is that so, your Fa—" Olivia stopped talking but her smile stayed, "—does the Young Miss mean—"
"Yes… the All-Father… I had been having visions of him since two years ago… and I went out to find out if the visions were true that's when I met Grandpa Kareem."
"Did the Young Miss found th—"
"I did… and he's gravely injured from fighting the Abyssal Demons and is currently creating a new vessel for himself."
Olivia took a deep breath and then, she smiled, [I did not wake up thinking I'd be dealing with this.]
She was already

The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com
