Celestial Peak Chapter 498

Chang Ping's eyes glowed blue, her killing intent imbued by the Essence of Origin wreaked havoc without care for who was who. She simply wielded a sword and appeared before them all, fearless, as though her entire being changed.
"It had been… so long." Chang Ping grinned because for the first in a long time, she could feel her body free! The Abyssal Poison no longer stunted her movement, the pain no longer impaired her decisions, and finally, nothing clouded her qi.
In fact, the qi flowing in her meridians was so clean that every moment it did flow it cleansed her entire being. Liberating, the power it gave was powerful, it felt like her entire existence was outside of this Universe's laws.
No longer did a chain bound her, and without any of such things, Chang Ping was free to do what she wanted to do. She moved and brought out a crimson sword from her inventory, a gleaming sword that hummed under the moonlight, this was her Natal Weapon, "Crimson Plague."
"Everyone! RUN!" The Revenants turned pale as paper and left everything whatever they were doing to run. They, and every single living being in the City of Thousand Gods and beyond could feel it, the tremendous force she exuded! They did not wish to confront her. The Revenants could feel it, they needed a different approach if they wanted to win.
The exalted experts who saw this also did not dally for they quickly could feel that something was wrong, "Sword—God?"
Wang Lin called out, but seeing her elated eyes, he knew that something had gone horribly wrong, "Everyone, RUN!"
Yuan Qing, Yuan Ming, and Qinyang looked at the glowing Chang Ping and though they did not have to, they also chose to leave while carrying with them a flailing Tang Ai, "Let go of me! Something is wrong with Mother! I SAID LET G—"
Qinyang just knocked Tang Ai down without saying anything. Her eyes… was silent, she looked ahead, no say anything, not even to the twins.

Kareem left with Butler Sun as well, but Wang Ling chose to stay on the Plateau. Wang Ling could quite easily control Chang Ping's killing intent and qi, and also, he had to be there to avoid the inevitable.
The Experts on the Thousand Gods City all looked out of their abodes. No matter what they were doing, whether they be eating, consummating each other, or just plain conversation, everyone looked above and saw a brilliant crimson light that showered the plateau and then the city.
All of this transpired in the span of a split second and with the remaining time span would become the one testament that would prove of the Sword God's strength.
"God's Domain: Celestial's Whims…" Chang Ping's qi expanded and formed a dome around the City, "…Crimson Horror."
And with those words uttered, a split second shifted the entire battlefield. Chang Ping melded her killing intent, the Essence of Origin, and God's Domain into one, other than Wang Ling, everyone below the level of a Rank-8 Cultivator fell, white froth coming out of their mouths.
The entire City of Thousand Gods was dragged into the depths of a new world. The moon was replaced by a blood moon that had a grinning mouth and hallowed sockets for eyes carved on its surface.
Two dots appeared from the darkness and with it came the mad cackling of a deranged demon. The Demon's laughter caused everyone's heart to feel tight and then after all that… it stopped.
The moon looked around and opened its mouth wide. From its two eye sockets and mouth, blood began to fall like a massive waterfall. Everyone who was still conscious had their mouths wide open seeing such a phenomenon come true.
"I-I don't know what's happening but… this is my Master's Crimson Horror… this is not good… everyone's life is in danger. And by the looks of it, the master is even stronger than when she used it in the past." Tang Yu looked around at the other experts with worried eyes.

"What is the matter, Tang Yu?" noticing his twisted expression, Dang Gu could not help but feel threatened by the situation. Before them was the Sword God who just unleashed an unbelievable amount of unrestricted killing intent. The entire city was being flooded by blood from an anomaly in the sky.
Tang Yu looked at everyone, his eyes quivering, "That's… Master's Domain, it increases Masters every attribute and when the blood from the mouth of the moon stops… then… something will happen that will eradicate everything and anything in its path. That is not an illusion or a spectral phenomenon, everything you see in this place is real and so will our deaths if we don't get out of here."
"Then, what should we do? There are still people who passed out due to the Sword God's pressure..."
"Take them to the Sailers." It was not Tang Yu who answered, but someone else.
"Refining God?" Tang Yu looked over to the side.
Yan Renhuo silently walked out into space, her goal, the Plateau, "Everyone, go and rescue the ones who passed out."
"What about you, Master? What will you do?" Chu Hua, Yan Renhuo's disciple asked, concerned.
"I will go to the plateau."
"It's too dangerous!" Chu Hua stated, concerned about her Master's wellbeing.
But Yan Renhuo simply smiled, "Don't worry Chu Hua, I will be fine… the Sword God and I are Martial Sisters, she won't hurt me."
"Wha-What?"
"I said we're Martial Sisters, Chu Hua. Anyway, I will see what I can do, but in the meantime evacuate everyone, but be careful, the Revenants are still out and about… we have yet to kill anyone other than the two Tang Yu dispatched, now, disperse!"
"YES!"
Everyone moves according to Yan Renhuo's instructions. She was an Ancestral Cultivator so no one would question her right to lead, but there were others who did not care to listen.
Butler Sun, the Deities, and Kareem stayed where they were looking at the plateau, waiting.
"You have grown, Young Miss Yan." Butler Sun stated calmly.
"It is all thanks to the Wang Family's kindness. Also, are you not going to help the others?"
"No… I don't want to be distracted. I can feel something's not right in all of this. Everything is going too easy."
"Well, we are going against the Clones of the Young Master, nothing is simple against someone like him." Yan Renhuo quietly laughed, "Well, I will go to the plateau and look for Brother Ling, I'll leave this area to you, Butler Sun."
Yan Renhuo disappeared.
"Qing, Ming, we're also going."
"…okay."
The three Deities also left to do something leaving Kareem and Butler Sun.
Butler Sun did not min the silence as he observed the God's Domain surrounding the area, [This is impressive.]
Though it was normal for the skies to change in color and for images representing a cultivator's path to appear, this anomaly was beyond comprehension. Its space was too large and even then, an anomaly has appeared.
A moon floated in the skies, blood poured out of its eyes and mouth and it was very much real as it could be. The very fabric of reality was being torn right in front of their eyes… it was surreal.
Butler Sun looked at the Blood Moon, he too was amazed by its magnitude, [Compared to this, mine seems like a playground. But, I wonder, what kind of Domain does the Primordials have?]
Butler Sun looked over at Kareem and just stayed silent throughout. Kareem looked around as well and then just sighed at his uselessness, "I cannot fight against the Revenants so please tell Father I am going to help the others move the incapacitated.
"Of course."
Kareem left as Butler Sun laughed softly and then… his eyes widened… he looked down and saw a sword had pierced him from behind. Butler Sun looked behind him and saw a Revenant... smiling.

Dream Dungeon
Welcome to the dream dungeon. Ely suddenly finds himself in a mysterious dungeon accessed only through sleeping. Many people are drawn into this dream world, confused and mystified. Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.

Red Clay Technical Services: Mercenaries, Magicians, and Marketing
Bobby likes Pabst Blue Ribbon, NASCAR races, and throwing fireballs. A through and through Georgia boy, raised down in the sticks but now working with all things mystic. He is, in other words, a magician. Not just any magician- but one bound by the most egregious of terms: business contracts. See, a long time ago, Bobby got himself involved with a dragon whose business was making magicians, and Bobby wanted magic to be his business. Both of them having common interest, Bobby agreed to sign over his services in exchange for phenomenal (draconic) magic. A pretty awesome deal, right? The contract put him at the top percentage of human magicians, on top of having the backing of a dragon patron, and a fantastic set of benefits befitting an esteemed contractor, so it'd be smooth sailing from then on, right? Not so. That kind of power isn't granted without strings attached, and Bobby's practically bound up in them. Following the esoteric laws set forth by magicians , juggling them with the mortal interests he still has to abide by, and finding himself at the beck and call of a fickle and opaque patron makes his life as a magician a rollercoaster of ups and downs. But when his patron sets him on a strange task- with stranger company, no less, even Bobby has to question what his mission really is. Delving into fantastic crimes and cracking open mysteries is just the least he can do, and he'll do it with the help of his gun, his wand, and his trusted allies both large and small. --- Cover art is of the Georgia Guidestones.
