Celestial Peak Chapter 451

The four already decided that they would be leaving the premises of the Tomb as early as possible. Qinyang wished to inform the others inside the Tomb, but Wang Ling and the twins could not be bothered by her desires.
By the end of it all, Qinyang's wishes were called off and she, who failed to protect the young generation of the Universe, proceeded to, "Hayyyyssssss…" release multiple sighs of exasperations.
Next to Wang Ling, Yuan Qing and Yuan Ming were all minding their own business while behind them was a young lady slumped, being held by the ankle sighing her heart out wishing someone would interact with her.
"Hayyssssss!" Qinyang was dying to say something.
However, the three people with her coldly ignored her while they kept a conversation to themselves.
'Shouldn't the two of you comfort?'
'Just let her be, if we talk to her now it will take two years for her to get over it. When her cat was eaten by the Leviathan Beast, she sulked for two years and we experienced hell.' Yuan Qing recounted a dark and annoying past.
'Let her sulk like, and if we feed her soup when we get out, we can make the two years last for two hours, it is a life hack when dealing with the Young Miss. She is a pain in the ass but she is also easy to deal with and doesn't get angry when abused.' Yuan Ming continued their worrying thoughts.
Wang Ling just sighed at the sight of the twins already determining what to do. Either, he didn't have any plans on trying to get in between the three just so that they would be able to comfort one.
He began walking in silence while Qinyang just continuously made an exasperated sigh. She was acting like a child… and she embraced every second of the action because there was none to call her off.
They freely exited the Tomb days before it was supposed to end. The Tomb usually does not end so early. Tomb Raids last for days to no end, and just as they were about to exit the Tomb, Wang Ling flicked his wrists.
"Wear these… help Qinyang wear one."

"Sword Tower Masks? Where did you get these? I thought they were only made by the Blacksmith Tower with the Inscription of the Cosmic Eye Tower?"
The twins looked at the coveted mask being handed to them like candy.
"I got an acquaintance who has a high position in the Tower. She's quite high up in the Tower's brass." Wang Ling answered with vague honesty.
"What are they for? And can we keep them after this?" Yuan Qing asked as she assisted Qinyang wears a blue mask.
"Well, just wear them so we can slip past detection from the experts outside. Though killing them is very easy for you people, I do not want to draw any attention to me so it would be best if we keep to ourselves. If nobody makes any trouble then take them."
"Deal." Yuan Ming accepted the deal and decided not to intervene with anything. She stared at the mask and she and her twin showed mysterious smiles staring at the masks before wearing them.
"When we leave, the Tomb will still go and operate for three more days at best. It is best to leave before the others know that their offspring or disciple died inside." Wang Ling said and the twins agreed as it was the most logical method to avoid any problem.
"Wait!" Qinyang, however, did not favor this method, "Wang Ling… sir, with all due respect we can't do something like that. We need to inform the rest of the Universe what had happened! We also need to let them know about the wandering Impostors going about killing for the Emp—"
"Qinyang, that is enough." Wang Ling stopped Qinyang's words, "What you are suggesting is going to get us in a lot of trouble. We are leaving now to avoid troubles and were you three not walking about traveling in incognito?"
"…" Qinyang refused to answer.
Wang Ling turned to the twins, and they bobbed their heads to the question, "We are… she's a little bit much of soft-hearted person…"
"…This is her first time going to the outside of our world so she fails to understand the harshness of the cultivation worlds."

The twins explained as Qinyang furrowed her brows before springing up with irritation, "Even if I am, new in the world of cultivation, I still know what is right from wrong! The ones who died have families! They deserve to know what happened! I am sure they will come to understand what happened in this event if we just tell them! If we tell them who you are it will even help prove our—"
Wang Ling raised his hand as he stomped his right leg and created a partition with a stone wall, "Don't cross that I am changing robes, I just realized something. Also, what you, Qinyang is suggesting is too idealistic. Not everyone has the same mind as you, those who had a member of their blood spilled with blame the nearest person and seek retribution or something they deem as justice even at the cost of an innocent's life just to preserve face.
"The moment we go and say something about their deaths, someone might use that to pin the blame on us. To you, it may be unlikely, but the truth remains that it will bother us. As for telling them about who I am, that is a matter that cannot be disclosed. If it is to be known that I am alive many would come and support me and we will receive help. However, it will spur the enemy to push forward hastening our defeat and killing even more because unlike them, not every living being can fight."
BAM!
Wang Ling lowered the partition, he was now wearing new robes, black with gold embroideries on the hems. His luxurious clothing was nothing like the ones he usually wore. "Do you now understand what I mean?"
"…yes," Qinyang said with lowered head. She may not be much of a thinker, and her idealistic thoughts were that of a child's, but she could still understand the reason. She was unhappy about the situation; however, she couldn't argue about anything, "Sorry for saying something useless…" she bit her lower lip out of frustration.
He cleaned up his clothes and then saw Qinyang. Wang Ling placed his hands on her head before ruffling her hair, "Thank you for understanding, kid. Do not look so down, having such a colorful view of the world is better than having bleak despair. Though I have changed, I too once had such a colorful view of the world… I would like it for you to learn about these matters for your own and the good of others, but you don't have to lose such optimism."
Wang Ling… was also once a child. There was a time with his master that he saw the world with colorful optimism. Though such a thing was dyed red with the blood of the first family he found.
Being realistic and worry have their advantages, but Wang Ling wouldn't want others to embrace such a life… after all, who would want to live with nothing but suspicions clouding their views of the world?
Qinyang had one such eye… he did not want her to lose something so precious and few in existence.
After seeing a little glow coming back on Qinyang's face, Wang Ling finally nodded and decided that it was time to exit, "The youths who entered has yet to leave because by now they are entering deep into the Tomb for more resources, so if we want to leave in peace without worrying facing the repercussions of the deaths of the younger generations. Just leave like normal, we don't want to get any attention we do not need."
Wang Ling said with utter confidence. His steps resumed with the other three following closely behind.
As he said, they exited the Tomb with much ease. He took three steps out and noticed nothing wrong, "No one is acting out, we need to leave quickly an—"
BOOM!
Yuan Qing, Yuan Ming, and Qinyang watched as Wang Ling was sent flying hundreds of meters away… and still counting.
The twins turned to the aggressor, and saw a bald man that's leaking the air of a Devil then turned back to Wang Ling who was still crashing through the trees, "Should we help him?" Yuan Qing asked.
"He said not to stand out… we're doing nothing." Yuan Ming answered.
"You two are enjoying this aren't you?" Qinyang asked.
The twins smiled, "Maybe."
