Celestial Peak Chapter 440

After millennia, Wang Ling once again felt a sense of helplessness. When Wang Ling fought with Chang Ping, he was able to match her thanks to both of them mostly fighting using their experience and skills.
In the fight, he lost because of his current body's limitations and his inability to properly use his qi. That was the reason why he left the Lowest Worlds in the first place, to disassociate himself from his softness and regain his fangs.
Though he had been sparing a lot of people, his means have been becoming more and more ruthless. He thought he was regaining himself, he thought that he was getting stronger, but, at this moment, as his hands were held by the twins, Wang Ling felt a grave sense of danger.
Wang Ling's eyes grew apprehensive about the situation, "Can we talk about this?"
"Can you tell us your name?" the twins asked.
"I told you, I can't."
"Then you die."
Without any hesitation, the twins broke Wang Ling's hands. He winced as their own qi invaded his own. He fought it back but his Holy Qi was actually getting devoured, [That's not good.] he thought as he stopped the scream within him.
With his hands being broken, he jumped and stretched out his legs and struck their heads. Of course, caught his legs and was just about to crush his legs when Wang Ling finally brought out the [Heaven's Edge] on his right hand.
Wang Ling gathered his strength on his pinky and ring finger, he activated his bloodline, three rings appeared on the back of his head.
"As we thought." Yuan Qing and Yuan Ming commented after seeing the three rings. They did not react in any way to Wang Ling pulling out his sword because in their eyes, what he just did was extremely idiotic.
When Yuan Ming saw Wang Ling pulling out a sword, her initial reaction was that she praised its craftmanship, the next would be to pull it down Wang Ling's hands, altering any plans he had and breaking his arm. All of it was within Yuan Ming's calculations.

However, when Yuan Ming and Yuan Qing turned to look at Wang Ling ready to question him about the matter inside their heads, something obstructed her view. Falling in front of them was Heaven's Edge Wang Ling threw up before Yuan Ming could break his arm.
Wang Ling saw this and caught the blade with his mouth even cutting his lips in the process due to the sword's extreme sharpness. Yuan Ming's eyes widened, "This is not a part of my calculations." She said aloud.
What Yuan Ming did place in her calculations was that Wang Ling could match her in terms of playing on the battlefield. In fact, with Wang Ling's experience, the windows and paths she could see in a fight was exponentially less than his.
Wang had gathered his strength on his fingers not to swing it at her, but to throw it and catch it with his mouth as it goes down. With the sword in his mouth, he moved his head!
"Twilight Sword (altered): Cosmic Retribution." In a brief moment, Wang Ling activated his sword intent, laced it at the Heaven's Edge, and drew out its power. The sword intent that could break anything fragile his body included finally found a somewhat suitable vessel and with a burst of strength!
STAB!
Wang Ling was just about reached Yuan Ming's shoulder, when, all of a sudden Yuan Qing who had been watching from the side intervened and pulled her sister's shoulder away. But with that Wang Ling's left was free.
He moved his left hand quickly, grabbed the sword's hilt and partially healed the broken bones, and powered through the pain of his crushed hand, [This is a new creation of mine, so I can't control it. Let's see if it can kill them.]
Wang Ling's eyes changed. He did not care for anything, he let go of any limiters in his mind and let his sword travel from West to East. A silent movement, a single path, and a single slash was coming.

Yuan Qing and Yuan Ming saw this and felt their hearts thumping. A bad premonition appeared, their eyes changed from certainty to confusion, then finally to a trickle of fear. They could alter Wang Ling's sword if they shifted his position, but they did not know the technique's path thus, without a moment's notice they chose to let him go.
"Twilight Sword: Crossing the Void."
Shing*
Like the never-ending darkness of the void, a chaotic mesh of qi, spirit, sword intent, and even the tiniest bit of spatial control he had remaining in his soul appeared. Wang Ling's sword traveled from west to east without any hesitation, without any sign of stopping, and without any restriction. Wang Ling let the technique flow as smoothly as possible, after soon after, the sword technique's true essence appeared, like the void, in its silence, comes Chaos.
BOOM! Wang Ling's sword was about a meter and a half above the floor, but when Chaos took over the silence, the ground was unearthed! Rocks and boulders were created, and for the next 100 meters, destruction ensued.
This was Wang Ling's incomplete sword technique. Wang Ling became out of breath. his stamina was waning but thanks to the three rings he could still hold on.
The pain ironically helped him keep his sanity, "That technique is really unreliable." He said as his legs regained strength for him to stand and as he looked at the twins standing before him, undamaged.
"Your refusal to say your name, that Holy Qi, that Sword Intent. That technique you executed clumsily must have been new a new creation to hide, the Blood Seeking Sword. AS we thought, you must be a Wang Ling." Like what they had been doing this whole time, the twins spoke at the same time with absolute synchronicity.
"…" Wang Ling did not answer.
"We will take that silence of yours as silence as a yes."
"I am the true Wang Ling. I am not an impostor—" He tried to reason.
The twins scoffed, "We can see that you did not lie… just like the others."
The twins said those words, their hair began floating. Their eyes changed from black to azure, and then, around them, the abundant fire qi dissipated and was replaced by heavy water qi, "We will terminate your existence from the face of the Universe."
[They've been holding back. Escape is not possible… reasoning is against both of our logic, and I can't prove that I am the true Wang Ling… did they feel my qi and compared it to the others? Either way, I am screwed if I don't take this seriously.]
Wang Ling cursed inside his mind, he took a deep breath and then brought out the mysterious heart.
"That won't work on us." The twins spoke in a chorus once more.
"I know, that's why I'm using it on me. Angel! Direct the heatwave on me!"
Fwoosh! Wang Ling's body did not reject the heatwave, instead, he accepted it, took the full brunt of its powers, and coughed up blood. He suffered internal injuries, but, thanks to that, Wang Ling managed to activate the Overhaul Phoenix Rebirth Body, at least a part of it.
The twins' eyes widened at the sight of this and as Wang Ling felt his body raging with blaze and power, he began accepting the qi surrounding him. The enhanced senses brought by the activation of his constitution brought forth a burst of strength.
"Okay, I am going to hunt… you… two… is something the matter?" Wang Ling asked seeing how they diffused their intent all of a sudden.
The twins looked at him, with confused eyes, their hostility was replaced by curiosity, "…You are of the same Race as the Fire Chicken?" the twins asked.
"…what?"

Unless, of course, the Tyrant King gets to him first …Hey everyone, so as most of you know, I write books for a living, and I just put this title up on Amazon (and enrolled it in KU). Because KU requires exclusivity as part of their terms of service, I have had to pull the majority of the content from this site. I left the full novel up for as long as possible, so I hope everyone got a chance to read it. If you haven't had a chance to read it in its entirety (sorry!) you can pick it up on Amazon. Thanks again for coming on this journey with me, and I so hope you enjoyed it. The book will be out on Tuesday July 24th. Best, James Hunter

The Triumphs and Tribulations of Kai Jameson
Kai Jameson is an average everyday young man. He still lives at home with his parents after having just graduated from college. He loves playing video games and his job at the local Buy More is tolerable. Of course that all changes the moment the system arrives and the Earth is connected to the Nexus. Turns out Kai was trapped in time for about eighteen months while the people already here got a headstart on him. He lucks into being rescued by some people from a town called Donnyton and learns that if he wants to survive in this New Earth he'll have to work harder than ever before. The rewards are worth it. This is Kai's story, the moments of his triumphs, and the moments when he feels that things couldn't possibly be worse. Thanks to puddles4263 and his story The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound for the inspiration on the world this is set in. If you have never read that I highly recommend it, and if you have read it and enjoyed that story then I hope you'll enjoy mine as well. This is the first story I'm ever putting out for public consumption so reader beware on that. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated, simply leaving a half star review tells me that you're a moron who doesn't know how to use words. I'm constantly trying to improve my writing and feedback and criticism on what works and what doesn't is the only way to do that at the point I feel I am at. Last, I just marked all the content warnings because you never know where a story will take you and I don't want to exclude anything (though there will never be a harem). I am going to release 1-2 chapters per week on Fridays. Thanks and enjoy.
