Celestial Peak Chapter 408

"RUSH HER! DON'T —" Alidia already beheaded the man making all that noise. Her face was twisted from anger. Her sword draws the blood of her enemies, their lives almost seem insignificant before her. She moved, and then, she claimed a life.
"You bastards seem to like seeing others suffer, huh! ALL OF YOU WILL LDIE HERE!" her anger rose, but all of that stemmed not only because she disliked them, but also because she was a fool who let this travesty go on under her nose.
This place was no farther than a few mountains away yet they kept their horrendous acts out of her reach! Alidia grew livid, couldn't quite control herself, and began a rampage and slaughtering everyone!
Without so much as a slight of hesitation, she made her move, she has no intention of sparing a single one of them, "I'LL KILL YOU ALL!"
The massacre was accompanied by a cacophony of screams and cheers from the captured slaves. But amidst all the chaos three people had their minds somewhere else.
"Please… save her, great benefactor…" Vaki begged. He was crying as his consciousness slowly drifted.
He wanted to hang on, but Wang Ling who had just arrived touched his forehead and knocked him out. Wang Ling then slowly injected the young girl's body with his Holy Qi. He did not do it at once else she would have imploded and die.
Hela's bleeding stopped, but Wang Ling had no means to heal her completely. He would need to take them back to the Village so they could rest and take medicines. Not everything could be answered by his Holy Qi, only Wang Ling has that privilege.
Picking up the two, Wang Ling looked at them and smiled, 'They have a strong bond, only the male has a talent for cultivation, the girl's body is riddled with impurities too… if I the boy to become a direct disciple the girl must come I suppose.' He whispered to himself.

He was talking as though he did not Hela, yet, he was the one he admired most. For a young kid to protect someone like that with her body was someone worthy of his admiration and respect. And to those who hurt such a kid deserves death.
"Angel?"
"Yes, Ling?"
"Kill them all."
"YAY!"
The permission was given and Angel. Wang Ling's Holy Qi got all used up as dozens of earth spears shot up from the earth, piercing the body of the watchers.
Wang Ling at the slaves and they looked at him with weakened eyes, some were scared, some in awe, "Everyone who enslaved you are dead. I'll give all of you two choices, run away and go anywhere you wish to go, live the life you dreamt of and survive out there on your own.
"The Second choice is simple; you can follow me and I will teach you how to cultivate. I will feed you, house your, and teach you, everything you would need in life, but in return, you can never… use what I will teach you for committing any heinous deeds."
Wang Ling didn't wait for an answer, he just continued walking and as he did so three haloes appeared from the back of his head illuminating the way. His Holy Qi was replenished and with his every step the harrowing echo of death followed.
To the slaves who had been freed by this young man, all of them didn't think and just followed him willingly. Their steps were weak, none of them had any strength yet they didn't slow down. They found strength from the depths of their souls, their desire to follow Wang Ling seeped out of their bodies.
When the massacre ended Alidia stood by the side and watched Wang Ling walk away with two children in his embrace followed by hundreds of children who saw him as their light. They trod the path he took, they never looked back and some even shed a tear.

Alidia watched this, befuddled but still understanding. Wang Ling saved them and they who had nowhere to run to all chose to follow him, many of them might have thought they would die here, without anyone to know of their existence, but here comes a young man with an aura similar to that of a Saint, descending from the heavens saving those who had been hurt.
He held an amicable expression and didn't pressure them to do anything, he promised them everything they would need asking nothing in return other than becoming a good person in return. If Wang Ling was no Saint, then everyone in this World was a villain.
[The Great Saint was revered like a God by many. The Wang Family spread his name and exploits, at first many claimed he was but a slaughterer with unparalleled bloodthirst. But hundreds of thousands from the Lesser Origin World stepped up and claimed that he was a hero amongst the many frauds. He fights evil and saves the weak, he doesn't let anyone off, a bandit or a Noble he kills them without saying a word. Not a hypocrite who spares villain saying they can change after a massacre.]
Many Scholars believed that many followed the First Young Master of the Wang Family because of his status and that the stories about him were exaggerated. But seeing this sigh she finally understood what made so many revere him as though he was a God.
[He's no coward… he's a genuine man.]
Wang Ling feared no one, spared no one that needs to die. He's hard on others but not oppressive to those who don't need such an experience, he's no Tyrant and he's no leader, he's nothing but a man with the strength to change the world.
But Alidia also knows that Wang Ling was no Saint. He saw his ruthless side and now his soft area, she was confused as to who Wang Ling really was yet seeing that back, she was compelled to follow him.
Walking the path, he walked, even a coward like her who hated fighting and killing found the reason why she needs to fight.
Alidia was unlike Wang Ling, she was a coward who left the Heaven Hell Sword Tower because she didn't approve of their methods. The Heaven Hell Sword Tower follows Wang Ling's teachings, kill those that deserve them and never let anyone survive.
Once she took part in eradicating a Clan who took part in a massacre of a village because of some dispute. Several hundreds of the Heaven Hell Sword Tower upholds the law of the Universe and the Towers' interest.
She took part in a massacre and in that massacre, she saw children being slaughtered like lambs. She was disgusted and decided to leave the Tower. She was a coward… who's afraid to die and kill.
Yet at this moment, for some odd reason she could not explain, she knew that if Wang Ling said that it's all right to kill… then she's willing to follow. It was as though in her eyes, Wang Ling was truly righteous.
