Celestial Peak Chapter 404

"Tell me what's going on. I don't want to cripple you." Wang Ling warned.
Alidia could feel the pressure Wang Ling exerted and the qi he was slowly inserted in her body was eating away at her. But, Alidia didn't give up, she wouldn't keel over a villain like Wang Ling, thus, she gritted her teeth!
"Rising Earth Dragon!" the ground moved and three earth spikes shot up, almost skewering Wang Ling. He dodged his head, but the earth did not stop and when the three-pronged attack met at its highest point, the spike's tip touched each other and transformed to a Dragon.
"Hoooh." Wang Ling raised his brows and had to raise his foot from Alidia's back. He swung his arm and cut the Dragon to several pieces. He used the 4th rank of sword intent as to not destroy his body, it was painful still, but he endured it with a smile.
Smoke roused from the destroyed stone dragon and from it Alidia came out, she carried with her a small knife, "Killing Sword: Rising Earth Tide!"
Wang Ling knew dodging was impossible, he was too far in and he had no foothold, anything he tries would result in him losing even more, "How smart of you." He decided to face her head-on with nothing but his fingers.
"Blood Seeking Sword: Sunrise Blood." He retaliated.
The knife glowed, her sword intent a notch weaker than Wang Ling's but because she had a weapon when she clashed with Wang Ling two fingers flew off, Alidia smirked, at the sight of that, and then he grabbed him by the collar and pushed him down on the ground.
She pinned him down and the back of Wang Ling's head hurt like hell. She mounted him but not before doing a horizontal strike on the ground to uplift the ground and cover the alleyway she was fighting on.

"Now, who got the advantage?" Alidia triumphantly announced with a wide smile.
Wang Ling answered, "Why me of course, Angel."
"What do you — Agh!" Alidia kept her voice down as an earth spike stabbed her on the sides. She did not feel any fluctuation in the spirit qi, fear enveloped her all of a sudden. This man was not someone she should take lightly.
She wanted to jump back and escape, but, Wang Ling wrapped his legs around her waist, "This opportunity cost me two fingers, do you really think I'm going to let you go so easily? Now, answer me why you have been aiming at me since I stepped inside that Tavern?"
Alidia was silent, but - STAB!
"Ack! You… bastard!" blood began dripping down from the corner of her mouth, she glared at Wang Ling with even more intensity, "Fuck off."
Alidia raised her hands and tried to stab Wang Ling's neck, but then two earth spikes stabbed her shoulders.
"Ling, your qi reserves are nearing their limits," Angel warned him and he nodded in acknowledgment.
[She's tougher to crack than I thought. Seeing that this level of pain can't make her talk, then, in some other way… hmm, how about that method?] an evil smirk rose, "Talk and if you don't I'll cripple you an then make you watch the death of the people in this Town!"
"I.FUCKING.DARE.YOU." her eyes changed and slowly grew in strength and was about to overpower Wang Ling when even her foot got stabbed. She was no practically drenched in blood yet her glare never lost in its intensity, in fact, it only became even more intense.
"Feisty, and you think that look of yours can do you any good? Try acting tougher and it will result in you dying a quicker death and when that happens, I'll begin a little dance of the blade… I'll start with that Tavern of yours so… talk." Wang Ling's eyes also change from a playful gaze to his murderous crazed self.

"Fine… I'll talk, but first, let me go."
"No."
"Why you scared of a woman who's bleeding all over?"
"Yes, I am scared, haven't heard of a beast that's on death's door, I don't dare play with fate, lass." Wang Ling wouldn't take the chances of letting anyone live in a Sect he challenges, and he wouldn't trust a captive's words, he shows stupid decisions from time to time, but even he has no crippling stupidity.
Alidia bit her lower lip, let go of the knife and let her body go limp, "Fine, I'll tell you — I already killed you a month ago, so tell me, how are you alive? Don't tell me otherwise, your face may not be a 100% copy but you resemble him and both of you have the same name, all of that can't be a consequence, right?"
Wang Ling's face twisted, "So, you are telling me someone with the same face and name was killed by you a month ago? I don't know what to tell you other than it's a coincidence."
"He also used the same technique as you did… the Blood Seeking Sword. In fact, he used the Sunrise Blood as you did against my companion"
"…Oh…" Wang Ling finally showed a difference in his expression, "Would it be possible that you made a mistake with his technique?"
"Though I have only seen it through the paintings from the Heaven Hell Sword Tower, I know that blade. When used I saw a gush of blood and slaughter, that's the technique used by the Great Ancestor Wang Ling, so I cannot possibly make a mistake."
"Is that so? Wait, Great Ancestor? Is that what others call me in this Era, by the Heaven Hell Sword Tower no less?"
"What do you—" Alidia could already see that this eccentric young man was insinuating that he's the one they call the Great Ancestor Wang Ling. She called for him, but, she was ignored.
Wang Ling burst out laughing, "What a grand title. I thought they'd call me a Divine Slaughterer or something. Grand Ancestor? That makes it seem like I fathered the entire Universe… well in a way that's not wrong either way."
While still laughing, Wang Ling picked up his two fingers severed from him and then placed them back to his fingers to its rightful place, 'Tch, my Holy Qi is too weak to place it like this as though it is nothing—"
"Hey!" Alidia couldn't hold his anger inside after being ignored in this manner.
"What is it?" Wang Ling turned to her; he was still thinking of what he needs to do about his fingers.
"What do you find so funny about the Great Ancestor? He's not someone you should disrespect in this manner!" Alidia clamored.
Wang Ling simply looked at her with interest, "I can't let you go now, anyway because of your information and the fact you saw my sword technique —"
Wang Ling still holding his fingers in place activated his bloodline. Three golden haloes appeared behind his head, the flesh of his fingers visibly began reattaching itself as he continued his words, "Well, I am the one you people call the Great Ancestor, I am Wang Ling, plain and simple."

As the son of the clan head and the next heir, that just wasn’t enough of an excuse to spare me from my father’s grueling training. For in his creed the only strength that mattered was that grasped in one’s own two hands. In my journey through the lands with my harem, I was grateful for his training as it saved my life multiple times when my girls weren’t there to engage in combat. This is my story."
