The library of the Lopus Family was not that large but it contained about five hundred different books overall.

There was no cultivation method in there but that's not what Wang Ling cared about, what he wanted to see was a history book containing what happened to the Universe.

[According to Leo the Universe' sudden change and the matter about the Abyssal Demons are common knowledge.]

Wang Ling walked into the library with Jiru he went and took more than three dozen books on his first read all of which had a connection to the change of Spirit Energy.

Browsing through every single wall of text, Wang Ling found, nothing of significance. He threw the book aside and then went to search the entirety of the library scoured for information he could use.

For three days, while others were preparing for combat Wang Ling was comprehending the information about this world and beyond. However, what Wang Ling found entertaining was the fact that what he found was beyond what he had expected.

[The amount of information about the worlds beyond this is incredible. History of different empires found in several worlds, and significant battles that happened thousand of years ago, all of it are documented in a normal book?

[I know that there were different worlds who explored the worlds beyond theirs but only Immortals could do that. But according to the books even normal people can do that now, through the ways of Stellar Ships.]

This proved a single thing to Wang Ling; the era had entered a Cosmic Era where the worlds are connected to one another. Wang Ling found this truly interesting.

If this proves one thing, that's leaving this world would be easier than anything else. He would only need to find enough funds and reach his Family.

The next information he gathered was regarding the change of the Universe's Cultivation:

-It happened all too fast, after the failed attempt of killing the Emperor of Death he exhausted his strength to alter the flow of Spirit Qi that led to the death of 80 % of the entire Universe. Only those of the Holy Race, True Devils, Origin World, and words that have no cultivation system survived but every cultivator died and this time was called the [Age of Death].

-The Beasts, however, survived this event for the qi in their body was already different the moment it entered their system. The Beastly Qi was unaffected. This Age of Death led to the surfacing of an unending number of Abyssal Demons.

[So that's why he changed the flow of cultivation.]

Wang Ling finally understood, the Emperor of Death whose identity was most likely the Gray Figure changed the flow so that his number would rise. The Immortals, the Gods who could fight would then turn to his minions and do his bidding.

[The Origin World must have been protected by the Creator. The Devils and Holy Race have their own qi and the Beasts have a different qi system in the beginning. They are also adaptive. But the fact of the situation still stands, if this is true then more than half of the Universe is our enemies, and every time they kill someone, they add them to their ranks… killing the Gray Figure, or the Emperor of Death as they call him is truly the only way to end this nightmare.]

This news brought Wang Ling an endless amount of headache, thankfully that worry was momentarily replaced by a smile after finding the story of a well-known family.

-Spearheading the fight, the Warriors from the Wang Family spread their influence slowly all across the Universe. Their ranks improved and helped in forming the Towers that responded to the needs of the Universe. They became the enforcers of justice and saved the lives of billions after the Great Change happened. And through their amicable relationship with the Mother of Beast, the Wang Family also gained the extended protection of the Deities through the Three Thousand Year Contract.

(It had been speculated that the pursuit of the late Great First Young Master of the Wang Family's First Generation led to the formation of the current laws. According to the Legends from the Celestial Spirit Realm, the First Young Master slew villains after villains and with him was a close companion who would one day become the Mother of all Beasts.)

[So, the family is still alive. Also, did the Three Thousand Year contract appeared so that they could alter their cultivation method of the world?] Wang Ling smiled; a new goal appeared on his face. But something bothered Wang Ling and as he looked over at Jiru who still chose to accompany him to this day, he asked him, "Jiru, I am uneducated in this matter thus I wish to ask you something."

"I will try to meet the Master's expectations of me."

"It's nothing grand, but, when did the Three Thousand Years Contract with the Beasts happened? Is it still in effect?"

"It had already passed, Master. The Three Thousand Years Contract already ended about 18,000 years ago after the Wang Family attacked the White Tiger Clan for attacking the Empress of Unending Ice."

"What!? Why would the Wang Family attack the White Tigers? The Wang Family's ties with the Mother of Beast was unbreakable. The Young Miss of the Wang Family's first generation was friends with the Mother of Beast, so why would they attack them!?"

"I… I do not know." Jiru's brows shot up, even he didn't know about the connection of the Wang Family's first-generation Young Miss with the Mother of Beasts, he only knew about the legends with the First Generation First Young Master but even that was questionable.

Wang Ling's mind was muddled, but he did ask another question to Jiru, "Do you know the name of the Empress of the Unending Ice? If a fight broke out between the two then surely it won't be because of the Tigers."

"I… I do not. The name of such a caliber is something I do not know."
