Days later ~

The trench was deep and the beast the deeper Wang Ling head down was stronger than the last. The strongest he faced so far was a beast at the seventh meridian. It was not a problem dealing with them but the sheer number overwhelmed Wang Ling.

He felt the struggle going down. He heard the number of people who reached the Dragon's Temple to be at a mere twenty seemed more believable now.

He had descended for over fifty thousand deep and the danger he had faced was something he did not expect. It was dark, if not for his piercing vision he would have been unable to see anything.

It was also thanks to the piercing vision he did not need to take out any kind of treasure that will attract any beast. The beast down here is already adapted to the environment if he was to bring out something like a luminous pearl it will be too eye-catching.

He was being careful. He descended down with care, he would eye out anything that was suspicious and then avoid anything that may seem like a beast. Sound and movement are still a big factor in this place.

Despite being underwater the sound of fights is still audible. The sounds of qi exploding are like explosives that make Wang Ling even more cautious.

The danger was increasing, the eerie darkness of being alone in such a place was becoming trouble on its own and it was making Wang Ling feel like he was being stalked. Thankfully the Ocean's Lull managed to give him a comprehensive view of his surroundings.

Its range had actually improved to 700 meters while he was underwater. The water ripples created a very reliable sonar that increased Wang Ling's perception. But at the same time, he had to process the ripples with much more care. It was hard but it was helpful in making him feel secure.

The trench was heading deeper and the more he heads deeper the steeper the area became. The walls were much closer to one another making it almost impossible for giant beasts to maneuver.

As Wang Ling head down deeper and deeper into the trench, he felt something coming from all sides. He became worried and stopped.

He looked around to find a place to lay low and hide, but to his dismay there was nothing. He was in open water and the only thing around him was to walls. He was beset on all sides with beasts, nasty beasts even.

He found his current position to be not so optimal in dealing with what is to come. He wanted to move away as fast as possible but there was no more time for him to avoid the conflict.

A mere half a second later more than ten seventh meridian Immortal Beasts entered his Ocean's Lull and after a full second, the hundreds of sixth Merdian beasts and below came rushing in as well.

Wang Ling's eyes bulged but he didn't panic. He cursed and then with a twist of his wrist he called out to Suzhen and Fer. No use trying to lay low, it is now a war against beasts and him alone.

Fer and Suzhen's body was continuously being destroyed because of the water so Wang Ling's qi was also being used the longer they stayed with him. But Wang Ling only needs them for a few short seconds in order for him to gain something.

"Suzhen, prepare twenty White Sun, and Fer, create a pill, I will need to boosts the performance of my body! After that return and from the inside I want Suzhen to heal me and Fer, you are to continuously prepare projectile!"

Wang Ling shouted out commands and with that said a beast came from the left and opened its maw wide. It tried devouring Wang Ling the instant they came.

But he will not let that thing happen. Controlling the first White Sun that had been left to him, he threw it towards the opened maw of the beast and cooked that beast from the inside.

Nineteen White Suns left. He sent out three more to the other beasts and when they dodged after seeing what happened to the last, he made it explode and gravely injure the others. Sixteen White Suns left.

"I got you, Surface dweller!" A loud announcement was heard from behind Wang Ling and with a start, Wang Ling turned back to guard but it was too late, three sharp claw marks was now left on his body and he began to bleed creating havoc.

His blood tasted sweet and had a nice scent at least according to the beasts who became even more exciting. In all four sides, Wang Ling was quickly surrounded by a variety of Immortal Beasts and in haste, Wang Ling found it rather hard.

"Father, here's the pill!" Fer finally completed the pill and threw it to Wang Ling before returning inside his body.

With the pill in hand, he did not hesitate to ingest it and then his body burst into flames. His qi, blood, and even muscles are on fire and are on its optimal performance with that, Wang Ling managed to increase his efficiency and began killing.

With a swing of his sword, he will kill an Oceanic Beast but in return two will take the place of that Oceanic Beast that had been slain. Wang Ling was becoming more and more desperate by the second and as he felt the pressure increasing by the second he observed his surrounding the level of cultivation around him had already increased to the eighth meridian.

"Tsk, this is not going to end, if a wave of the tenth meridian beast comes I'll die!"

He knows his situation very well and with a little bit of ingenuity he gathered what remained of his White Sun and gathered it to a single point!

A giant ball of White Flames was created and he pointed it towards the ocean floor. He took some hits on the back as he focused on the White Sun. His back was ripped apart, and blood seeped out of his body. But he cared not because he let Fer take care of it!

A barrage of blast exploded from the back the side and sometimes even front when an idiot attempts to jump through the white flames.

Death was abound and Wang Ling just continued his attempt to open up a path. Suzhen was trying to heal Wang Ling as much she could, but her efforts was not enough.

It took Wang Ling some time to complete the White Sun and as he did, giant ball three times his size was created. And as he concentrated, Wang Ling whispered, "White Sun Annihilation!"

He sent out the Sun and then after reaching a hundred meters away and got devoured by the swarm of Oceanic Beasts, Wang Ling had the White Sun Exploded.

Boomm!

The flames annihilated a number of the Oceanic Beasts and Wang Ling, who stuck to it flew into the fire. He was immune to such heat and the force was taken into a full brunt without much consideration of what might happen to him.

The force sent the beasts who was around Wang Ling flying, and for a time in front of him and around him no one was present and he took that chance to dive down.

And as he was doing so, he heard the Gray Figure from inside instruct, "Open your Wings, we are beneath the water and we are in Lower Heaven, it will not be felt!"

"You could have said that earlier!"

And his feathery wings flapped underwater. And it should have been impossible for him to move, but with his Immortal Qi Wang Ling shot out like a bullet.

Straight through the hordes of beasts, Wang Ling shot out and escaped the horde but soon after the Oceanic Beasts Recovered, they chased after Wang Ling hungry for his flesh and blood.

But as they did, Wang Ling who had been given the go to use his Hellish Qi and his bloodline to a certain point, he ravaged through the ranks of the oceanic Beasts like they were paper and as if he was a God of War who descended, he did not even stop as he traveled down the trench.,

No matter what it was, whether it be ninth or tenth meridian, Wang Ling decimated everything.

"IT HAD BEEN SO LONG!"

His rampage was effective but in return. Down south of the battlefield, three figures looked around trying to sense something. But as they found nothing they cursed, "Shit, where is it?! We have been trying to find the source for five years! Where the hell is it!?"

They have scoured the East, West, North, and South. But they couldn't find the Devil who have the Blood Hell Pearl.

But as the three Devils cursed, their senses spiked up and they felt it, Hellish Qi, it was faint, but it was pure… too pure in fact.

They were newborn so they didn't know, but as they sensed it up north, they headed there. They are Devils and sensing Hellish Qi in a world filled with Angelic Qi and Heavenly Qi is nothing noteworthy.

"We fucking found it! Once we find who that is, give him a beating before presenting him to Lord Kareem!"

And so, the three Devils set out trying to find the Devil who set out to the Universe. Their goal was to take him back alive and rough him a little.

"Let's go!"
