Celestial Peak Chapter 326

Hell, the realm of the savage and the strong. A realm ruled by one king, the King of the True Devils, Garm. He had lived for eons and had vast experience in different fields.
He had reached what is beyond Godhood and had grown infinitely stronger than before. He had reached infinity and gained eternal youth. But right now, as he sat on his favorite chair, he stared at his treasures, as an old man with a flowing white beard.
His room was not so flamboyant and eye-catching it seemed dilapidated and old. It was the room he himself created, back when he was a child. In front of him was the round table that acted as his vault.
This vault of his had been unprotected for years but it had never been touched ones. In this vault of his, the most valuable treasures of the Hell World lays safely in his keep. He only takes them out in times when he gives them out as a reward to his people.
The treasures of this vault are exclusive for the people of the Hell World. He rules the Hell World and so the treasure of the World is for them, but one and a half million years ago the receiver of the Blood Hell Pearl was killed by someone. In the process of stealing the Pearl, thousands of Devils were killed.
The treasure was taken away but the Garm did not think much of finding the treasure and getting revenge for his people. He would have known where that bastard if he was to use it, but he didn't think it would take one and a half million years.
He did not know what really happened that caused the pearl to be held unused all these years but it is not something so bad. Because as of this moment, the Pearl had been used and the Will that he stuck into it had come back.
He would have made his move on his own, but at the moment he cannot. The Universe is in a perilous and its balance had become awry. The chance of locating the Chaos is near and with the vulnerable state of the Universe, the Origin is also about to be opened.
For eons they wished to go back to that place, but had been stopped by the seal Chaos had placed on it just before his demise.

But just like the king of Heaven, he too is always seeking to break the seal and bring his people back to where they truly belong. He is the King and the King should be at his birthplace.
And on the rare times he stopped his attempts on destroying the seal, Garm received the location of the missing Blood Hell Pearl.
And so, the only thing he should do is to get it back and once again return it to the World where it should belong. Or so he had thought, but at this moment someone was actually using the Blood Hell Pearl and he found that as interesting.
"A Devil in the Lower Heaven? How interesting." Garm got up from his seat and proceeded to exit his vault. He exited the room and with but a single motion of his fingers the space in front of him warped and the next moment he appeared before the Throne of the Devil King.
The Throne was not created with an assortment of the most valuable gems but with his own glorious blood. The throne of the Ruler of Devils has its legend, but with the passage of time it had been forgotten and only Garm knows of its purpose,
Garm sat on the throne with a straight posture, he waved his hand and a man wearing dark red armor appeared. Bearing five pairs of wings, he bowed his head low and presented himself before the ruler of his kind.
He was a man with great facial features and as he knelt on one and showed his conviction to the ruler he questioned, "How may I serve my, GodKing?"
Garm comb his white beard with his fingers and stated, "I have found the Blood Hell Pearl, Kareem."
The man raised his head and with a smile, he began to tear up, "GodKing, does that mean I will finally be able to avenge my son?"
The one who received the Blood Hell Pearl before it was stolen was Kareem, one of seven Devil Emperor of the GodKing Garm. Kareem had searched for the killer of his son, but the killer was too good at hiding his presence.
Garm saw the elation in Kareem's eyes but he himself showed some indifference, "It had been a long time since the incident happened Kareem, I do not know if the one who killed your son is still alive. I doubt the one who possesses the Blood Hell Pearl is even a human or a Holy Race for the Blood Hell Pearl did not break but had been used."

"What does that mean, my Lord?"
"That means a Devil had gotten his hands on one of our most glorious treasure."
"Is that so, then how does my Lord wish for me to do it?"
"Take him back to Hell and present him to me, you can kill him or spare him, I care not if it is your decision." With a twist of his fingers a light shot up to the forehead of Kareem and he learned of the location his Lord was telling him.
"I understand, My Lord. I shall send one of my men to retrieve him."
"Oh, does that mean you are not going yourself?"
"I cannot leave Hell, my Lord. The Abyss had been opened and war is raging, as the Commander I cannot leave this place. I hold the duty of protecting our people."
"Is that so, then I will no longer dwell into it. Keep my people safe as I break the seal to the Origin."
"I understand my Lord."
And so, the Hell World had made their move.
=====
Under the dark and gloomy sky a woman with flawless beauty stood amongst the death and destruction. She stared at the sky with lifelessness and longing. A raindrop touched her cheek and fell to the ground; it merged with the river of blood that is by the woman's feet.
Scattered throughout what used to be a city was the body of its former citizens. A valley of blood and carnage formed with the body of different creatures that lay lifeless on the ground.
Her view was hazy, her body slowly started becoming cold. The blood on her body washed by the downpour. A multitude of different emotions swirled within her heart, but the presence of sadness was nowhere to be found.
She had become numb to the feeling of seeing the sight of carnage. Ever since she reached Immortality she had been constantly becoming more and more of a weapon. Inside her is something she does not know, it was a scourge she wishes that will disappear.
Her tears mixed with the rain and she opened her mouth to scream. Her qi exploded and the corpse around her flew into the air, scattering like dirty fireworks.
"This is what I want! I am becoming stronger, my strength is uncontested! No matter what, I should be happy, right?!" Her laughter echoed just like her screams, her mind was already on the edge, but soon enough her laughter ended.
She became despondent. This is what she wanted all those times, but right now she only feels empty. This power is not hers, she knows not what is becoming. Slowly, she is becoming a monster.
Not a Beast or a Human, she is nothing but a monster craving for death and blood. She doesn't even know what she is doing when she fights making her no worse than a puppet.
She is not afraid to kill, she can kill the innocent and the wicked. Death is nothing but a state to her. But right now she is fearful, she is not herself anymore, she is afraid. Afraid that she will be devoured by the thing that lies in her own blood.
The words of the White Dragon that day echoed in her mind, an abomination in this world. The White Dragon who experienced this rampage of hers firsthand called her something closed to a monster and it would seem that its words were correct.
Nothing is keeping her from going insane. In the past it was not like this, she needs someone to ground her in reality and so she collects the blood that scattered on the battlefield and devoured it all.
Her qi was processed quicker than before and her core vibrated. The cultivation that had been stuck at the sixth meridian moved up once again. At the expense of a city, she reached the seventh meridian.
She faced tribulation and she devoured the lightning of heaven. But in her act of devouring lightning once again, she grew stronger. And with her conquering of the seventh meridian, she gained the ability to control space.
Upon gaining such power her tear-stained face bloomed into a hopeful smile. She left for somewhere secular, wishing to train in the ways of space manipulation in order for her to return to the second-best place she can think of.
In the embrace of the people she also called her family.
Bai Xue wished to find warmth.
