The entire Celestial Spirit Realm was embroiled with many fights and many thought that it would never end. Two wars are currently being fought; between the Qin and Desolate Clan, and the Wang Family against the alliance of the Mu Clan and the Frost Peak Sect over at Frost Domain,

The war over at the Desolate Domain ended swiftly as the Wang Family's Shadows, the Tranquil Empire's Army joined forces with the Qin Clan to ensure the defeat of the Desolate Clan.

The Desolate Clan was swept away in the Qin Clan's pursuit of vengeance for their Young Master. And even if the Desolate Clan Head wanted to stop the war, the bad blood that had formed after so much blood has been spilled stopped any peace talks from happening.

So, with a surprise joint sweep against them, the Desolate Clan perished and the Desolate Domain was claimed by the Qin Clan and the Tranquil Empire. Wang Family didn't get over the discussion of who gets to keep what. Though the Tranquil Empire merely got a small portion of it and establish some shops inside it to create a better relationship with the Qin Clan.

They remained neutral as they have already gained control of the Dark Domain. The Dark Domain is in the South of the Central Region, right now, the Wang Family has taken control of the North and South. Though the Northern area is still embroiled in war, it was about to end.

The Yan Clan and the Wang Family joined hands to finish off the Mu Clan. But the war has yet to be over as there were still two missing pieces to ensure the Wang Family's survival.

Wang Ling had stayed in the renovated manor of the Xie Clan and after the incident against the Xie Clan, the incident became known as the [Ascension of the Monarchs (Wang)]. As the name implied, it was the time when the name of the Wang Family became known to the entire Realm.

The Wang Family did deny nor acknowledge any of the claims, so it was natural for the common people to regard the things they hear as true. The Wang Family's flame rocketed to the sky, and for the better or worse, the True Devil Academy and Heaven's Will Academy both respectively issued out a request for them to meet the First Young Master of the Wang Family.

The request was made publish, it was taken as an attempt of the two academies to discern if the rumors regarding the First Young Master to be true.

Principal Zi of the True Devil Academy and Headmaster Geng Wuying of the Heaven's Will Academy marched towards the south with their Grand Elders to meet with the Legendary First Young Master.

Headmaster Geng would have just requested Wang Ling's presence back at Heaven's Will Academy but Wang Ling had announced that he had already reached Celestial God Phase, which is another matter that shook the realm.

He was twenty-eight years old, he naturally became the youngest Celestial God of the Era, no, even if the era before is to be considered, he will still be considered as the youngest of them all.

Wang Ling had become the wonder of the realm and the claims of him treading the two paths became more believable than it already was. Headmaster Geng turned to Principal Zi and sighed as he rubbed his glabella, "If this turns out as you have predicted then it seems like the little First Young Master of the Wang Family will become the beacon of hope. If that is the case, wouldn't the Academy that True Devil King envisioned to be feasible even without our presence? If this First Young Master wanted to, with the help of the Wang Family, he could have established his own power and in a few decades, he could rival ours and even surpass us. Just what is he on about?"

"Well, we are here to know that, aren't we?" Principal Zi and Headmaster Geng stepped inside the city and what they saw was destroyed houses that littered the area. There were very few people; a far cry from the bustling city of the past.

"The people who returned is much greater than I had expected. The Wang Family had ordered for the manhunt of the Xie Clan members so these people must be those whose identity has been verified. Isn't the Wang Family worried about a few of them hiding in plain sight?" Headmaster Geng questioned.

"This is the Wang Family we are talking about, for the longest time their information channels had been on the top of the Realm; what did you expect from Sun Wu? Well, the manhunt will end sooner or later as even his second disciple had made his move." Principal Zi reassured.

As they walked through the street, the two received a lot of attention. But no one dared approach them letting them reach the gates of the Manor easier.

Reaching the gate of the manor, they were greeted by an elven maid.

"I am Principal Zi, and this here is Headmaster Geng, we are here to meet with the First Young Master."

The elven maid smiled as she gave a polite bow welcoming them to the manor she said, "The young master has been expecting your, please follow me."

Initially, the two was angered by the disrespect towards them by Wang Ling. They were people of the highest standing in the Celestial Spirit Realm, having a maid receive them rather than Wang Ling himself was unthinkable.

They scowled and the maid seems to have noticed this as she explained, "The First Young Master has been gravely injured with his fight with, the Second Master of the Xie Clan. He pushed himself to his limits so it is hard for him to move even now, please forgive him for not being able to meet you at the front gates. Quite frankly, the Head Butler advised the First Young Master to rest for a few months, but when he received your letters, he spared no effort to prepare; even disobeying the words of the Head Butler."

Her words made the discontent vanished. And as Wang Lings stepped inside the guest hall, the two Heads were humbled as they clearly saw his pale complexion proving the words of the maid true. His hair was also ash gray, it gave people who say it a mysterious feeling.

They stood up to greet him and immediately sat back down so Wang Ling can take it easy. The movements and aura of Wang Ling subtle as he was injured, but as he stood there, he truly had an aura that is both attune to both paths.

"I apologize for how I may look, I tried my best but this is the best I could pull off. Headmasters, I assume you are here for the rumors."

"That is correct." Principal Zi answered politeness, he did not even notice it.

Wang Ling inwardly smiled, "This is my answer."
