"I will." With that said, Wang Ling left smiled. It had been a while since he saw someone who cares for others like that other from his family. Sun Yuwen, a mother who wishes for his daughter's happiness even if it is at the cost of her own life.

With that smile came sadness at her words, "I will take care of her, and in return please be strong." He added with a lonesome smile that caught Sun Yuwen's attention. The melancholic gaze he always possesses surfaced.

"What is wrong, child?" Sun Yuwen asked.

"I am just remembering something. Sister Renhuo and Mistress Sun Yuwen, may I ask you to come to visit me at the Red God Manor where my family resides. I wish to reciprocate the goodwill you have shown me today."

Wang Ling extended his hands to offer and invite which the mother and daughter pair accepted wholeheartedly. They separated from each other and decided to meet at the Red God Manor once dusks settle.

Wang Ling left for home and met his family. He was showered in congratulatory words before he said that Sun Yuwen and Yan Renhuo were about to come.

Xiao Fei'er was delighted at this and ordered the maids to prepare a feast. Wang Hong wanted to invite QingBiao, but she was currently preparing for the next round so he had to stop his hands.

However, he did not become depressed and asked for his brother to come and speak to him for a brief moment. They separated from the rest of the family and went to a courtyard where Wang Ling's room could be found.

"What is it, Hong'er?"

"Big brother, something has happened in the Frost Domain." Wang Hong said in an alerted voice.

Wang Ling raised a brow and smiled mysteriously, "Is that so, I also have a hunch that there is trouble but let me first hear what is in your mind. What trouble is brewing that it is making you anxious?"

"The Mu Clan is making their moves on the border area of our Family Territory. Their men are harassing our people. The Frost Peak Sect who had always been neutral is currently pressuring the Yan Clan and is driving them away from the Frost Peak Sect Territory and from their recent activities, they seem to be up to something. And the Desolate Clan's people are also frequenting the Mu Clan especially their elder. And some time ago, someone from the Mu Clan came to the Family and tried to extend their hands for marriage."

Of all the things Wang Hong had spoken, one thing, in particular, attracted his attention.

"The Mu Clan did what now?"

Wang Hong just realized that Wang Ling had not been aware of it, "You might not have known of it but the Mu Clan came and had a chat with Butler Sun about asking the hand of Yue'er for marriage. Butler Sun chased them out and if not his self-control, he would have killed them. Mother and I both received a letter for the matter, did you not receive one, big brother?"

Wang Ling was put into deep thought. His mind wandered but never left the idea of why Butler Sun chose not to inform him of this matter.

[Did he fear I would go berserk and go after the Mu Clan? That might be it, he is not wrong in what he did but this matter cannot pass. Those guys tried to get their hands on my sister? That is unacceptable. If Butler Sun almost killed them that also means they must have disrespected her in one way or the other, either way, I'll add them to the pile later on. I still need three powers or something big that will accept the growing Wang Family.]

It was a hard decision to make. If he moves now, Wang Ling can destroy the Mu Clan in three to five months with some careful planning. But he chose not to do so because of the greater picture he envisions for his family.

[It is not yet time.] But that does not mean he will not make them bleed sooner or later, it is just that he has to take care of them when they are useful, [Once I milk them out, I'll wring their necks myself and kill them one by one as I take their heads off.] Wang Ling was in no way going to let them go.

He turned to Wang Hong and congratulated him on getting the whole picture (well almost the whole picture), "You are finally looking around, Hong'er. But you need not worry because this chaos is going to benefit on setting up an unshakeable foundation for our Family."

Wang Hong at the time could not understand Wang Ling's words but as he was a smart person, piecing it together would only be a matter of time. This talk did not necessarily get the two siblings closer yet it was something that made Wang Ling pleased.

After their talk, they shared wine and dusk finally settled. Sun Yuwen and Yan Renhuo came and had a meal with the Wang Family. Sun Yuwen and Xiao Fei'er hit it off and had a jolly time as they talk with one another.

On the other hand, Wang Ling and Yan Renhuo sneaked away and went somewhere in the manor with fewer people to talk with one another. The two were in a pavilion with Wang Lng pouring tea for Yan Renhuo.

"What is that you need to ask me, Brother Ling?" Yan Renhuo asked

"About the Devil's Flower that is currently heading for Mistress Sun's heart..." Wang Ling spoke in a leisure tone that it made him somewhat sinister, but it mattered not because Yan Renhuo did not care.

Her hand stops as she asked, "How did you know of it, Brother Ling? Did Mother told you about it?"

Wang Ling did not answer her question and only said, "I know how cure it."
