Celestial Peak Chapter 206

Descending in front of the Thundergod Academy's eastern gate, Wang Ling sees the mount that brought him there flew into the horizon. He had a smile on his face and unbeknownst to him, the mount was actually relieved that it was away from him.
It may have been a beast that is many times powerful than Wang Ling, but the single fact that Wang Ling's presence that exuded out of him was simply out of this world. He was a beast, but the pressure he could bring out could not compare to Wang Ling.
It even doubted if Wang Ling was truly someone from the Heaven's Will Academy. It felt like that an ancient beast was moving with it, the feeling was suffocating.
However, Wang Ling could not know of this as he was too focused on his own thing. The memory of the past and the devil within his heart was simply too much to face head-on if his mind wandered off.
Although his mind was wandering too much on the journey, Wang Ling's mind was currently at a stable form. Or so he thought. Because the instant he stepped beyond the gates of the Thundergod Academy, Wang Ling heard the soothing voice of a lady.
"It seems like you have something going on inside your mind, Brother Ling."
Wang Ling turned to the side and saw a lady possessing a kind of beauty that is both captivating and unruly. A unique red hair and dangerous set of teeth, a beauty that is both dangerous and alluring, it was Yan Renhuo.
Wang Ling looked at her and for a brief moment, a flash of hesitation flashed in his mind. The image of her death appeared in his head and it made him clenched his fist tightly. Yan Renhuo was a member of his family, or at least that's how he sees it.

As his personal Alchemist, she is entitled to stand by his side in the future. Of course, that is still on the back of his head and was not an actual thing. But he knows that Yan Rehuo would stay by his side in the future.
And because she is a part of the family, the image of her being cut down by him was something unpleasant even for him. After all, cutting down one's own family was something he did not want to relive in this life. That single mistake was enough for him.
"Are you having cold feet, Brother Ling? I heard that the entire Roaring Thunder Board is all the more wanting to fight you and prove their worth to you after your ascension as the Son of Heaven. And it would seem that the man I deem worthy to be my dao companion is feeling the pressure for the first time." Yan Renhuo who had keen eyes towards Wang Ling especially teased him and Wang Ling merely responded with a shrug of a shoulder.
"I am but an imperfect human being. Everyone has flaws, Sister Renhuo." Wang Ling responded in his natural nonchalant manner. With a slight bow, he greeted Yan Renhuo.
"You? Brother Ling? Have flaws? If the old coots of the Heaven's Will Academy heard your statement they would be willing to hang themselves for being too much of a trash. You are the revered Son of Heaven, I heard Zhuan Jie was begging you to teach him swordsmanship, for a peer to be so outstanding it is rather difficult to see any flaw in you."
Wang Ling is now a well-known and prominent figure even in the entire Martial World. His position in the Heaven's Will Academy is equivalent to that of a Grand Elder in most places. He was so high up that even some of the people his peer was already asking him on the path of the sword.

They were asking him to be their teacher or something of the like. But because Wang Ling was too busy and had no interest in taking any of them in, Wang Ling merely responded with him not wanting to have another student candidate implying that he already had someone he was teaching at such a young age.
This little comment of his made many people looks at him with even more mystery and interest.
Wang Ling needs to be respected, but it would seem that his current position does not change in the eyes and heart of Yan Renhuo.
This made him satisfied for some odd reason. Laughing at her comment, Wang Ling merely walked away as he urged her to join him on the walk. As they walk away they were then greeted to a carriage a few hundred meters away from the gate.
They rode on the carriage and left for the depths of the Thundergod Academy. They could have flown into the Roaring Thunder Stage on their own, but that would take hours so they had to take a carriage.
Wang Ling looked at Yan Renhuo with interest in his eyes. His eyes observed her body thoroughly and noticed many things. Other than it being flawless and jealousy-inducing towards other women, Wang Ling noticed that she was shrouded with a dark orange hue.
"Your training in the True Chaos Flames seems to be moving along smoothly. Have you ignited it already?" He asked.
Yan Renhuo nodded her head, "I have, the time before I went to witness your ascension to the throne of the Son of Heaven in the Heaven's Will Academy. This True Chaos Flame is something unique indeed, the power is possessed lives up to its legendary status. But I am rather disappointed in myself, I cannot use it for any grade-3 pill concoction at the moment as it is too violent."
Wang Ling was surprised to hear her said those words in such a casual tone. Ignited? He was merely playing around when he asked her if she had ignited the True Chaos Spark, but in mere months she had not only ignited it as he had already used it in her pill concoction.
[What a monster.] he thought as he showed her a smile of amazement.
His eyes caused Yan Renhuo to blush as he stared at her intently. Their conversation got drawn out the more they spoke to one another.
But it got to the point when Wang Ling realized something as he asked, "Now that I think about it, Sister Renhuo, what are you doing in this place? I thought you went back, even Yue'er and the others went back to the Xiao Clan to train you to have a lot of free time I see."
Yan Renhuo acted meek as she answered, "I am already at the very peak of the True Saint Stage, a little more push and I will breakthrough the Dominion Realm, so instead of meditation I wish to see the world more. And it just so happens that you are in a lot of events this year… I am also here to support you, am I not welcome?"
Showing Yan Renhuo a warm smile and only said, "Your presence is always welcome."
