A month after Wang Ling and Xiao Jianfa had their duel. It was currently in the middle of the 8th month of the year.

Sword clashes were heard in the courtyard of the Xiao Clan. Wang Ling was exchanging clashes with Xiao Jianfa. Xiao Jianfa was full of smiles as he fought with Wang Ling.

Wang Ling stretched his back and then saw Wang Yue running towards him. On Wang Yue's head was Bai Xue jumped on top of Wang Ling's shoulders the moment she got the chance.

Xiao Fei'er walked also approached Wang Ling, Xiao Yu did the same.

Xiao Fei'er hugged Wang Ling and said, "Take care of yourself out there, my son. Do not get into too much trouble."

Wang Ling's departure had already been talked about weeks ago after the talk Wang Ling and Xiao Jianfa had. That talk was kept between Wang Ling and Xiao Jianfa, no one but other than the two of them know of its contents.

Xiao Fei'er did not have anything to say to Wang Ling other than take care. But still, Xiao Fei'er was worried about Wang Ling.

Xiao Fei'er looked at Wang Ling and then nodded her head. Turning to Xiao Jianfa, she said, "Father, can put your will on Ling'er instead of mine? I will much assures if it is your [Will] that will be seen when he is in danger."

Xiao Jianfa shrugged his shoulders and was about to take a step forward. But Xiao Yu stopped him while saying with a smile, "I will place my will on him. Dear, please step back."

Xiao Fei'er and Xiao Jianfa looked at once another with a surprised look on their faces. They did not expect Xiao Yu to actually place her will on Wang Ling. Now, Xiao Fei'er was truly assured that no matter what happens, Wang Ling will have a last resort. Though she was indeed kind of feeling a little worried about the repercussion of this happen if Wang Ling truly did experience something bad.

Xiao Fei'er hugged him one last time and then Wang Yue did the same. The mother and daughter also gave Bai Xue a little hug and asked her to take care of Wang Ling and herself.

Bai Xue assured them that nothing was going to happen, "Please do not worry, I will take care of him" she said.

Wang Ling then crouched down to face Wang Yue, he took a storage ring out and then handed it over to Wang Yue, "In here contains the refined blood essence of a Greater Holy Lord, this will help you in your cultivation, Yue. And hopefully, this triggers a connection between you and the realm above."

Wang Yue accepted the ring from her older brother, "I will try my best to improve, older brother."

Wang Ling nodded his head and merely smiled as he encouraged with a few words of, "You can do it."

With that, goodbyes were over and nothing was left to be said anymore. Wang Ling turned around and then flew away. The next time he would be seeing his family would be months later when the Ten Year Bout stars. Given that he was still alive by then.

After all, the area he would be going through was littered with his enemies.

His goal was the Devil Domain to join in the auction for the Devil's Curse and complete the main materials he would need for his Natal Weapon.

But in order to get there, Wang Ling would need to cross two domains littered with the enemies of his families. First domain he would pass through would be the Dark Domain where the Xie Clan resides.
