"Although I do not want to have you challenging him, it seems like I will be able to stop no matter what I say. Try not to feel like you're being bullied, else he's going to enjoy tormenting you."
Xiao Fei'er shivered at the thought of her father before standing up, "Alright, with that out of the way, I'm going to return to Xun Jia's side. I feel like she's going to be your sister-in-law soon enough."
Wang Ling raised a brow, "Is she a good person?"
"Yes she is, it seems like she's a good friend of your Hong'er and they had been traveling together since two years ago. Though they had to stop after the burnt marks appeared on her arms."
"How old was she when this happened?"
"I supposed she was twenty years old by then." Xiao Fei'er answered his question. She then saw Wang Ling shook his head as asked one last thing.
"Is her mother still alive? Or was she afflicted with the same disease."
"Yes, she was. It is unfortunate but she died early with the same cause. But do not worry, the pill the Flame Mistress is going to give her will heal her entirely." Xiao Fei'er sounded confident.
Wang Ling shook his head and asked, "Where is Sister Renhuo again? I have to speak to her."
"They are currently concocting a pill, it would be best if you don't disturb them."
"Alright, but can mother do me a favor? This is to ensure Sister Xun Jia's recovery is ensured."
Wang Ling took out a piece of paper and started to write. It took him three minutes but after he was done, Wang Ling passed it to his mother, "Please tell them the thing Xun Jia is inflicted with is an innate poison that is passed down through generations.
"It is called a Slithering Yin Poison, I once read it in a book. That paper I handed you mother is the correct way to ensure the recovery of Sister Xun Jia. I can do it myself but contact with the bare skin must be made so I do not want to do that. Even so, it is a rather easy process so please take care of it."

Xiao Fei'er read through the paper and indeed it was a viable instruction for treating someone and because Xiao Fei'er had already examined Xun Jia, she knew various paths the dark burns had taken root in.
Looking at the detailed explanation and instructions, Xiao Fei'er looked at her son, "How did you learn this?"
"I once read through a book of ancient ways of healing someone. Though that book was destroyed in one of the scuffles I have been through.
"After the whole thing is over, please keep this a secret to everyone. I do not like rowdy environments."
=====
Five days passed and Wang Ling had chosen to hole himself up in one of the rooms of the palace. He did come out of the room one day. Though he did congratulate Xun Jia for recovering. Wang Ling didn't really care.
He attended the banquet for the princess's recovery and stayed in the Tranquil Empire till the present day.
Though in the past few days, he had gained enlightenment in a lot of things. His dao path had been slowly solidifying and a little more time and he should be able to reach dominion realm.
Though he is still a middle-grand saint stage cultivator, Wang Ling was already preparing for the future.
He was not hasty, he was merely looking into the future.
There were other good things that had happened in the past few days. First would be his bloodline, more specifically the Greater Holy Lord bloodline.
He had already passed through the 18 bells of heavens, now he was already preparing for the 27 bells. In the past few days, he had already reached 21 bells.
His improvement was present in the Holy Lord Bloodline. But he should also focus on his True Devil Bloodline. He was still at the second level of the True Devil Bloodline, he had been in it for years.
It was about time for him to start training on it. But he had not time to personally gather the blood so he went ahead and request it on Butler Sun. He had asked for at least fifty vials of blood essence of spirit beasts that had already reached dominion realm.
Wang Ling could use the blood essence of spirit beasts on Saint Phase, but he would need 500 of them so he went for a more practical and efficient approach.

Opening his eyes, Wang Ling got up. He woke up Bai Xue who was still inside his clothes and had her come up. She woke up and rode Wang Ling's shoulders.
It was then he heard knocks coming from outside, "Young Noble, your mother is calling for you."
Wang Ling got out of the room and saw a maid looking at him respectfully.
Although Xiao Fei'er intended to keep the news of her following the instruction of Wang Ling, the Flame Mistress who administered the medicine managed to see through it and had made a big deal out of it.
And because of Wang Ling's request not to connect it to him, the merit was given to Xiao Fei'er who was actually feeling aggrieved to accept the thanks and praises of the people around her.
Right now, the standing of the Wang Family in the heart of the people of the Tranquil Empire was that of a benefactor.
Wang Ling had already foreseen this would happen. That was exactly why he asked Xiao Fei'er to do such a thing. He could've done it himself, but there are variables such as him making direct contact with the skin of royalty, it might create sow some sort of problem in more ways than one.
Wang Ling was aware of these problems and chose not to tackle the thing himself.
Overall, Wang Ling did something good for his family and avoided controversy. He kept a low profile and while still holding the dignity of his family.
Having the maid show him the direction, Wang Ling found himself on the back garden of the palace. The back garden seemed nice. It had spirit plants and the like. But he preferred the garden Wang Yue took care of. It was an honest opinion.
Wang Ling reached the back garden and there he saw his family and other people he was familiar with talking to someone who wearing luxurious clothing. With strength Wang Ling could not measure, the man should be at celestial phase.
It was the Emperor of the Tranquil Empire.
"Good day, your majesty."
Xun Tao, the Emperor of the Tranquil Empire saw Wang Ling and then patted him by the shoulders with a big laugh, "What did I tell you, just call me Uncle Xun, or Uncle Tao. Our Families are friends, I am deeply indebted to you and your mother."
Xun Tao's words sparked interest in his head. He turned to his mother and sure enough she was giving him a look that said it all.
[Xun Tao knows.] he sighed, but it didn't have any major effects on him so it wasn't much of a problem.
Wang Ling smiled and thanked Xun Tao for his oh-so-generous words, "Thank you, Uncle Xun."
After some words were exchanged, Wang Ling and his family left for the Xiao Family they had been meaning to go to.
Wang Hong and Wang Yue said their goodbyes to Xun Jia who was also there. Wang Ling said his farewells to Yan Renhuo.
"It wasn't long but I must say my farewells. Good luck in your endeavors in the path of cultivating the True Chaos Flames." Wang Ling was about leave, but Yan Renhuo stopped him.
"Brother Wang… no, Brother Ling, the end of the day on the first month of the upcoming year will be the Ten Year Bout, if I can win that bout, will you hear a favor of mine?"
Wang Ling began to think. He had bitter smile for he knew what she wanted to ask him. Her wish of winning the whole thing would be somewhat impossible. After all, winning that bout will be a part of his future plans to spread his name.
But as he had already formed a connection with Yan Renhuo, he was willing to be lenient, "If you can reach the best 4, I will hear your favor any time. If it is well within my capabilities, I will be happy enough to do that favor of yours."
"Then, I would take those words to heart and show my worth." Yan Renhuo was joyous at his words.
Wang Ling on the hand was rather bitter inside, after all, he was taking advantage of her affection.
After saying their goodbyes, the Wang Family left. Their next destination, Xiao Clan of the Air Domain.
Wang Ling's next target, the Fleeting Cloud Sword Master.
