Celestial Peak Chapter 130

"No matter, everything is fine. I am fine and nothing bad happened. Please, leave the room, I need to concentrate to concoct pills."
Wang Ling did his best to have Butler Sun turn around and leave him be. It took him longer in doing so than actually reeling in the Black Tiger Cauldron.
The method he had used to reel in the Black Tiger Cauldron was by taking advantage of its dormant state. Wang Ling used his angelic qi to awaken it and weakened it with his hellish qi before reeling it in with his supreme spirit qi that can mesh with anything.
Wang Ling wasn't shaken with the Black Tiger Cauldron's roar because his soul was strong enough to take it head-on. He may be weak in terms of cultivation but Wang Ling's soul was even stronger than before he reincarnated.
Right now, he could last until the 11th bell. Which only meant he was improving, albeit slowly. His Heavenly Flame was truly making a big difference in training his soul.
Wang Ling sat down and began communicating with the cauldron. The cauldron began to buzz as Wang Ling started feeding it with angelic qi. Its earlier displeasure had somewhat subsided.
Even for Wang Ling, this was the first time he had a chance upon an artifact such as this. Even for an artifact that had a spirit, this once was too self-aware. Well, Wang Ling was not complaining or anything, it was just that he was getting more and more interested in the history of the cauldron.
Butler Sun had previously said that his father would let anyone take this thing away if they could take it. But even Wang Shu Qing shouldn't have expected that it would be his son taking it.
Wang Shu Qing's intent must have aligned with having an alchemist take it and reeling that alchemist in to become the family alchemist. That way, they wouldn't need to buy from other families for pills and medicines.
Wang Ling had the same agenda as his father but he plans on doing it differently.

Upon getting the cauldron, Wang Ling was now ready to start concocting minor pills. Concocting pills had no other use to him other than getting the ability to concoct his own pills and strengthening his soul and spirit. So even if he wastes his time in pill concoction, Wang Ling still improves.
Having the cauldron placed in front of him, Wang Ling started recalling every step and process he must take to concoct a pill.
First, he needs fire. A furnace would be used by most people but because Wang Ling has his flames, he can make do with it.
White flames erupted from his body and wrapped it around the cauldron. This was his flames that specializes in purifying everything. Wang Ling controlled the flames and started fiddling with it.
He tried moving the flames around the cauldron and tried moving it freely. He continued this until he was satisfied with his grasp on the intensity of his own flames. He can't exactly use the highest temperature he could for his first concoction else he will only waste materials.
Wang Ling grabbed the storage ring that contained the ingredients he had asked for and threw a simple [Revitalizing Qi Grass] in the cauldron. His flames began to rise and began purifying the Revitalizing Qi Grass.
Wang Ling's flames began burning the impurities of the Revitalizing Qi Grass and Wang Ling made sure not to cause any damage to the plant. The Revitalizing Qi Grass was an ordinary spirit plant that had yet to break out of the tiered list.
It was a tier-3 spirit plant, it was abundant and easy to find, making it all the more perfect to train in purifying the impurities. Wang Ling's concentration was in full swing, doing what he must without getting distracted.
Most new Alchemist's mistakes are that their spirit and concentration isn't high enough to supplement the rigorous process of concocting a pill. Wang Ling had the mindset every alchemist needed to concoct a pill, he only had to project that into actually doing it.

Soon, with his unbending concentration, Wang Ling managed to purify the Revitalizing Qi Grass to perfection and threw in the next ingredient he needed to throw in.
The pill Wang Ling wanted to concoct was called [Mortal Qi Restoration Pill], it was an extremely ordinary pill that can help in revitalizing qi. It only uses 7 ingredients and the Revitalizing Qi Grass was its core.
Wang Ling managed to purify everything so he went ahead with the next process, extraction. Using his supreme spirit qi, he extracted every bit of essence he can get from the spirit plants.
Water like substance wrap in a golden light came out of the spirit plants. Wang Ling was doing difficult tasks while splitting his mind to accomplish the things he needed to do.
His mind and spirit could handle this kind of thing easily. His concentration was heightened to the point Wang Ling could manage everything without any worries.
While his mind finally reached a point where he can freely weave without any problem. Wang Ling began managing his flames more exquisitely.
Wang Ling's mind bathed in angelic qi making him all the more clear-minded. With his mind clear of worries Wang Ling began moving more and more efficient.
The extraction of essence started a few 5 minutes ago and Wang Ling had already finished everything. The liquid that was wrapped in golden light envelops the entire room as the sweet aroma of medicines enveloped everything.
Wang Ling began his next move without wasting any time. The next in the process was formation, he moved and had the extracted essences enter the cauldron before closing it as fast as he could.
Having his flames dance and flicker like it was his own limbs. Wang Ling was becoming more and more adept and proficient in controlling his flames and alchemy.
Without any problems of lacking concentration and spirit, Wang Ling was making unbelievable progress in his alchemy. So much so that after a few minutes of waiting, the insides of the Black Tiger Cauldron began to emit a sweet aroma.
Wang Ling's mind started to feel like it was floating as the sweetness made him lose most of his senses. He basked in the surreal emotions of being accomplished.
Three blue pills that was emitting white mist came out of the cauldron. Wang Ling picked up the two pills and he began observing the pills. Taking out his sword, he drained out three of his qi pillars and unleashed an attack.
With three of his qi pillars gone, Wang Ling popped out of the pills inside his mouth and felt his qi being restored. Half of one of his qi pillars was restored in short 30 seconds.
Wang Ling smiled as he mumbled to himself, "The results weren't that bad, I managed to create a pill in less than 20 minutes and it came out great. It even has [Pill Mist], I might just have a talent for this thing."
A pill mist, a phenomenon when a pill was concocted to utmost perfection. A pill like so is something even emperors will kill to have. Although the pill in his hands was a mere tier-3 pill, it can still be used by other alchemists as research materials.
Wang Ling was feeling giddy and happy after learning of his capabilities. He smiled as he got ready to concoct another set of pills. But just as he was getting ready to do so, someone wandered inside the pavilion and called out to him.
"First Young Master, the maids said that I will find you here. I have gotten everything you have asked me to get. Please grant me the honor to fight you!"
Wang Ling forgot that he had another appointment. He sighed but as he got up, he was ready to take care of this quickly.

The Tower Must Fall - Combat Gardener
If you're interested in a conceptual, ground-up rewrite leave a comment and tell me what you loved about it. I've got a pretty good idea of what everyone hated so there's no need for expounding on that. Gardener? A support class? This can't be! What was all my hard work for? Forget this world. Forget the System. Even if I'm a lowly support class, I'll take on the Tower and take them all down! Since the System appeared one hundred years ago, humanity has been divided into three: combat classes, intellectual classes, and support classes. Assigned at the moment of high school graduation, one's class determines their future. Rowan wanted the most out of life. A combat class, an intellectual class, either would be fine. When he is instead assigned a support class, Gardener, he notices the System is completely rigged against support classes. Refusing to give up on his dream of realizing his future by his own terms, Rowan challenges the Tower, the seat of the System and home of the Hero-King, in hopes of bringing the entire System to its knees. Season One complete. Permanent Hiatus, Pending Rewrite. Important notes: -LitRPG fantasy -Rowan is not perfect. He's got flaws, emotions, and personal issues to work through. If you want a perfect, overpowered MC who makes the right decision every time, this is NOT the work for you. -This story opens with a negative situation and an emotional growth arc for the main character. Please don't review until chapter 30 because the arc is not complete until that chapter. (Chapters are short, that's an average RR book's chapter 10) -No harem, no rape, no isekai, no romance -Questions? Please ask!
