However, only a select few could ever hope to get out of this place. Bai Xue screeched in delight as her huge body dove down to start a hunt.

As her humungous body appeared behind one of the examinees. That examinee sneered as it saw Bai Xue's claw coming for it.

"Stupid bird, do you think you can take me on directly?" That examinee might have feared the flames that were burning down the mountain, that was because the flames were getting stronger as it grew. But he wasn't afraid of Bai Xue.

Bai Xue was just a mere pinnacle-level-2 nascent soul cultivator. What if she was some legendary beast? He was far stronger than it.

That was the mindset of that particular examinee. So, he went ahead and delivered a punch directed at the large frame of the beast.

Blood spurted as the terrified look of the examinee remained on his face right before he died. Bai Xue continued doing this and managed to kill two more poor souls.

But she had to retreat in fear of having the level-5 nascent soul stage geniuses come for her. She retreated soon after retrieving the storage rings of her targets.

Wang Ling took the Golden Lotus King that was behind and jumped upwards. He was then picked up by Bai Xue who had just managed to loot those geniuses. She was pretty pleased with their harvests.

"Did you managed to get some?" Wang Ling asked.

Bai Xue nodded her huge head as she gleefully flew away with haste. She quickly disappeared.

Some remained at the peak of the mountain but could do nothing as they saw Wang Ling ride away on the Phoenix's back with the Golden Lotus King. They threw some spears at him, but Wang Ling deflected them all.

The beastman roared as he realized how humiliating this was. Especially for a prideful beastman, this was a huge blow to him. That day, he made sure to make a vow that he will kill that masked bastard someday.

But it wasn't just him, the geniuses who managed to get out of the mountain alive was doing the same. Their hate for that mysterious masked man and the Phoenix was simply too intense for them to forget.
