When the roars and cries of the Dragon Phoenix was heard. It was not only Wang Ling and the other humans who was affected but also the Midnight Eagles that was acting as their mounts.

Fang Guan frowned and said, "So, the third prince of Soaring Wind Empire is here."

The flames of the campfire flickered as the third prince observed their group. His assessed both Fang Guan and Wang Ling before turning to Lu Lin and Zi Liang. Upon seeing the two beauties, the third prince smiled lustfully.

"Don't worry I'm just passing by, I never meant to have conflict with the people of Piercing Heaven. We will leave, but may I know what the name of this brother?" Gale looked at Wang Ling.

"My name is Wang Ling." Wang Ling said without regards to why the other party was asking him. He already have a rough idea why this fellow was asking him so it didn't really matter.

"So it is Brother Wang Ling, I apologize if my words offended you. But you should also watch your own, your words might just become the death of you and your family."

Wang Ling raised a brow and looked at Gale, "Are you saying my family and myself will die? Considering that I have those words to you, does that mean you can kill me and my family?"

Gale had a flustered look on his face and immediately denied, "That is not the case Brother Wang Ling, I am not pertaining anything and just wishes to warn you about the dangers of the world."

Wang Ling gave a warning and returned the smile that was being flashed to him. Gale and Wang Ling exchanged awkward gazes until Gale finally broke off his gaze after feeling oppress by Wang Ling's weird eyes.

He said his goodbyes to Fang Guan and then to Lu Lin and Zi Liang before lightly tapping Wang Ling on the shoulder.

"Thank you for standing up for us." After Gale disappeared, Lu Lin showed his appreciation to Wang Ling.

"It's nothing, I don't want Senior Sister to draw blood here that is all. You with blood is not a match." Wang Ling unknowingly struck a chord on Lu Lin's heart as she said his thanks once again.

Zi Liang who had been looking at Wang Ling with a bad light also said words of appreciation to him. Her view on Wang Ling was now leaning on the neutral side.

"What you did was rather surprising and really interesting. To see Gale stifled like that made my day, but just like he had said, you should watch your words Brother Wang Ling, after all, Gale is still a prince of an empire. Getting in a conflict with him might implicate your family and yourself." Fang Guan warned.

Wang Ling nodded his head and heeded his warnings. Midnight fell and the roars and cries of the Dragon and Phoenix came. After it came, Fang Guan and the others chose to cultivate, while Wang Ling asked the others that he needed to practice his sword for a while.

Leaving the campfire, Wang Ling finally lost control of his bloodline and let his wing unfurl. The second roars and cry of the Dragon and Phoenix made him finally feel his bloodline churn and resonate with him.

Wang Ling started a massacre that night.
