Wang Ling spent two days assimilating the 2 Infernal Lotus. His body had undergone a transformation this past few days as Wang Ling continued his training.

"Training the True Chaos Flame is going to be easy now that I have a body that is tempered by flames. In the future, creating a [Chaos Spark] is going to be easy. I have spent almost two months but I have finally reached pinnacle-sky root stage.

True Flame Chaos will start from a Chaos Spark. The Chaos Spark will be nurtured inside the energy palace and will become stronger as time passes. The Chaos Spark will be cultivated and at some point will become a True Chaos Flame once he reaches a certain point of cultivation.

However, even though the Chaos Spark is still not a True Chaos Flame. Wang Ling will still have the ability to use a little bit of the [Chaos Qi] which is the very essence of True Chaos Flame.

Smiling, Wang Ling left his room. This was his first time leaving in the past two days and Qigang who had been waiting for him immediately came over when he left. Wang Ling looked at Qigang who was respectfully bowing to him.

"Have you done what I have you to do?"

"First Young Master, what do you mean by 'after earning the right to enter'? Are we not going to travel to the Lightning Domain to ask for permission so you can enter the preliminary examinations?" Qigang asked with doubtful eyes.

Wang Ling realized that he had not told this guy his full plan yet so he sighed as he began to explain what is going on.

"We won't be travelling. That will take far too long and we might not make it if we meet any kind of mishaps along the way. It would be best if we enter the academy and wait for the annual recruitment of the Thundergod Academy to come."

Wang Ling was not saying these words with baseless confidence and information. He knew that the academies of the central regions has connection with the Piercing Heaven Empire and the empire should have the means to get their students accepted to the academies of the central regions.

In the past, he had heard that Chang Yun who was a part of the imperial family became a student of Northern Faith Academy after earning a 'spot'. The spot spoken here is the limited number of students who have met the prerequisites to join the preliminary examinations.

There is an academy in the empire known as [Piercing Heaven Academy]. The academy is the only academy that receives 'spots' that can let students enter the academies of the central regions.

"The Piercing Heaven Academy is a prestigious school of the Blazing Wing Continent. They hold their student recruitment every year at a particular date. The time for recruitment is already over so the academy will not accept your admittance unless you prove your worth in a test known as 'Combat Admission Examination'.

"The Combat Admission Examination will require First Young Master to fight someone who is stronger than you by more than two levels. Because you are a pinnacle-sky root stage now, First Young Master's opponent will be middle-energy palace stage cultivators."

Wang Ling tilted his head to the side as he looked at Qigang with a mix of teasing and confusion mixed in his eyes as he spoke.

"Why is that hard? If I beat them then it's over correct? That is not hard at all." Wang Ling was having a good time.

Qigang looked at the way Wang Ling was actin and couldn't say anything else. In his head, he was already thinking the best way he should treat Wang Ling's wounds after he is beaten back and blue by his future opponent.

While he was experiencing a massive headache as he joined this First Young Master of his. Qigang noticed that Wang Ling had already started walking away.

He ran to his direction and asked where he is going. Wang Ling answered him in a carefree manner.

"I'm going to enter the academy. Oh, follow me. I need you to do something for me."

At the entrance of the academy there were two figures walking. One was wearing a simple white scholarly robe while the other was wearing a simple black robe.

The guards who were posted at the entrance of the academy saw these people and immediately made them stop on their tracks.

"Halt, none students are not allowed to enter the premises unless you have the permission of the Dean. You two do not look like a student from the academy so it is best for you two to scram."

One of the two guards saw Wang Ling and Qigang and stopped them.

Wang Ling looked at the guard and showed a mysterious smile. Not knowing why this young man in front of him was smiling at, the guard felt that he was being mocked by this person.

Feeling incense, he used the sword that hanging by his waist and brandished it against Wang Ling. He wanted to teach this haughty young man to not look down upon him despite him being a guard.

Wang Ling did not respond to the guard's action but Qigang promptly stepped forth and stopped the sword with single finger of his.

The guard flinched at the sight of this. He was a pinnacle-sky root stage expert. How can somebody stop his sword with a single finger? How strong is this person?

Qigang looked at the terrified look the guard carried on his face and spoke in a very cold manner.

"Do you know who you are pointing your sword at?" Qigang exuded a bit of force and turned the sword that was on his finger tips to nothing but pieces of scrap metal.

The guard who had his weapon destroyed had an ugly look on his face. The pressure coming from Qigang made him feel like his body was being crush. He was trembling as he fell on the ground with his butt.

An attractive scene had transpired in front of the prestigious Piercing Heaven Academy. Someone actually dared to make trouble here? It had to be noted that the academy had a direct link to the empires royalty. If they made trouble here then they would be incurring the wrath of the imperial family.

This caused many passerby stop on their tracks and watch the incident continue to develop. This kind of thing happens too rarely. They might regret it in the future if they miss this.

As Qigang suppressed the guard who was making trouble with Wang Ling. Wang Ling raised his head as he sensed the high-profiled presence of someone coming on their way.

"Do you not feel shame as an expert moving against someone who is as weak like a guard? I do not know who you are but if you wish to make trouble here…" a sudden burst of spirit qi spread out, the gallant looking man continued his words "I will gladly entertain you to the best of my ability."

A blatant threat yet Qigang only gave the gallant man a single look before turning his head to Wang Ling. His eyes reflected the inquiry he had in his heart: "This is enough right, First Young Master?" was the message he had in his eyes.

Wang Ling nodded his head in satisfaction. Qigang had done his part of getting the attention of the academy that they even sent a saint. Although the attention Wang Ling had gotten was not a good one, it was still attention.

[Good, now I have their eyes on me. I only need a little push and my fame throughout the academy will rise exponentially if everything goes well.

Although I didn't really expect the guard to be so proud that he will attack with just me ignoring him… well, all's well that ends well.]

At this moment, Qigang did not say anything and ignored the gallant looking man and went back to standing behind Wang Ling. The gallant man glared at Qigang who ignored him before turning his head to Wang Ling.

Wang Ling smiled at the gallant man and asked an off topic question.

"Is this esteemed sir a teacher of the Piercing Heaven Academy?"

Wang Ling asked and the gallant looking man had a look of surprise. For there to be someone who did not know him made the gallant looking man gaze at Wang Ling all more strangely.

Nonetheless, the gallant looking man still answered Wang Ling's question.

"That is right, my name is Jiang Wen. You and that man behind you had caused trouble in the academy, it would be best if you leave." Jiang Wen swallowed the irritation he was feeling for Qigang and just let the matter go. Conflict will not lead to anything good.

Especially if the opponent is a saint. He had expected this matter to end now but Wang Ling answered him with a simple.

"No!"

Jiang Wen's face reflected his irritation as he asked.

"What do you mean no!? Get out of here or else you will pay the price of causing trouble."

"No! We have not done anything wrong so we will not leave. And my goal is not to cause trouble it is to get accepted by the academy through the Combat Admission Examination."
