The King was seated in a wooden chair in the back garden. With a slightly flustered look on his face, the King waited for Butler Sun's arrival.

The King was a middle-aged man who was emitting a kind of radiance that is fit for someone of his status. His visage was light and carried no haughtiness that many kings had. He looked like a kind and benevolent King.

He had no guards with him as he left them at the front gate of the Wang family manor. At first they insisted that they will follow him inside but he argued that they he will be talking about something important with the Wang family.

In the end the royal guards gave up trying to enter with him and stood in gates of the Wang family manor. He did indeed didn't want to let anyone in with him as the discussion he was going to have with Wang family's butler was simply too delicate.

However, he did take one person in with him.

By his side was Azure Lin who was in the dark about the current matter. He does not know what the contract the Butler of the Wang family was talking about. But he was worried nonetheless.

The way his father reacted earlier was too when he spoke about the contract ending was too exaggerated. His royal father even hurried over to the Wang family's doorstep.

He looked at his royal father warily as he tried to think of an answer to the question inside his head. However, he was unable to make any kind of conjecture.

Soon, the old butler he saw earlier came. Azure Lin looked at Butler Sun full of respect. He knew that this butler was a true expert. For him to eradicate a force of the Demon Blood Cult single-handedly was enough to earn his respect.

Azure Lin bowed and the King stood up and greeted Butler Sun as soon as he walked in.

"Butler Sun how is the injuries of Young Master Wang? I will help you in any way possible so just tell me."

Azure Botai humbled himself in front of Butler Sun and this scene made Azure Lin's chin almost touch the ground. For a king to call a member of the younger generation as Young Master, how high really is the position of this Wang family?

"Thank you for your concern King Azure but the young master's situation is now stable. Although his spirit ocean and qi pillar has been invaded by some foreign qi, we will be able to save him if we hurry back to the main house."

Butler Sun gave them an apologetic look all of a sudden. Azure Botai knew of the underlying meaning of this face and showed a saddened face. What Butler Sun meant was that they will go back to their original house.

Butler Sun was also aware that Azure Botai knew what he was saying so he looked at him and spoke seriously.

"Don't worry about your southern borders. The Master signed a contract with your royal family as thanks for helping his ancestors. He gave you a promise that he will train a group of one hundred thousand men and turn them into elites that will protect your land. In addition, he will stay in the Azure Kingdom to protect your Kingdom from any danger for twenty years, is that correct?

"However I as his representative ask you to let us leave in todays after destroying the Demon Blood Cult. The Young Master of our family has only been awake for a short month and he had already suffered and is on the verge of death. I wish to severe 'it' as early as possible.

Azure Botai knew what his speech meant. And that was to cut off the contract his royal family had with Wang Shu Qing.

"That is indeed true. At that time I said that he does not need to do any of these but he insisted in doing so anyway saying: "It is my duty as their descendants to repay your Kingdom", he insisted in protecting our Kingdom's southern border where the Demon Blood Cult and Bandit Coalition dwell.

"He destroyed the Bandit Coalition in ten years and continuously suppressed the Demon Blood Cult that was terrorizing my citizens. He had already done so much for my Kingdom and citizen without us doing anything for him.

"I cannot reward him any material thing that can help him in his future endeavor, but if severing the contract can help the General."

Azure Botai was honestly relieved. He thought that his life would be lost today. It is so good that the men of the Wang family didn't held a grudge. His earlier worried look slightly lighten.

What he didn't know was that if Butler Sun didn't stop his men, the face of this King would have long been a pig head. He had just let the people of the Demon Blood Cult enter his Kingdom resulting in Wang Ling receiving an injury.

Azure Botai took out a scroll from his royal robe. He unfurled it and spoke with a loud voice:

"This is the Heaven's Contract. I hereby declare that the contract between the royal family of the Azure Skies Kingdom and General Wang Shu Qing is severed."

He then took out a sword and cut his palms. Letting his blood fall into the unfurled scroll. The scroll let out a bright light before turning into a ball of fire.

The contract has been severed.

Butler Sun said his thanks to Azure Botai.

"Thank you King Azure, I will send your family something after we arrived at the main house. I wish to entertain you King Azure but I need to prepare for my travel."

Azure Botai was rather surprise. They were already leaving? So soon? He was caught off guard and asked.

"Is the injury of Young Master Wang really that serious? Do you really need to go back to your main house so fast?"

Butler Sun shook his head before saying.

"No, we're not going to leave the Kingdom. I am going to make a trip to the southern borders and find the master, after that, I will go to the Hideous Ghost Valley."

"Hideous Ghost Valley? Butler Sun, might I ask what you're going to do there?" Azure Botai asked curiously.

The Hideous Ghost Valley was considered as the land of death, it had many evil spirits wandering there and miasma that can poison an energy palace stage cultivator can be found there. What could Butler Sun's intention for going there?

Butler Sun looked at him and smiled.

"I'm going to destroy the Demon Blood Cult."

The Azure father and son was left with their mouths agape after hearing that line. What a domineering line it was, announcing that he will destroy a sect on his own. If any other person said that to them, they will look at that person with disdain and spit at him for acting so arrogantly.

However, when they heard it from Butler Sun's mouth. They can't help it but have hope surface in their hearts. They felt that this person in front of them could actually do what he had just proclaimed.

In the end, the Azure father and son didn't manage to say anything back to Butler Sun other than: "Good luck!"

The Azure father and son pair then left the Wang family after that. They had nothing to there and they feared that they might become a hindrance in that place just by being there.

They were seen to the gates by Butler Sun where royal guards were waiting. Butler Sun offered to have someone escort them to the royal palace but Azure Botai politely declined saying that he did not wish to burden the already troubled Wang family.

He got in his carriage and breathed out a deep, deep sigh. He was well aware that the contract between the two families was going to end at the end of the year but he didn't think it would end this way.

For the contract to end in this manner left an unsavory taste in his mouth. Azure Botai just wished that they Wang family does not hold this against his Azure Skies Kingdom. He then turned to look at Azure Lin who was looking at him weirdly.

He smiled as he asked.

"Are you confused about what just happened in the Wang family manor?"

Azure Lin nodded his head. The short time he had spent in the Wang family manor had actually given him the chance to learn such a huge secret. He had always thought that General Wang Shu Qing came back to their Kingdom twenty years ago to revive his destroyed family and make his Wang family rise once more, but it seems like the Wang family he was seeing was only the surface of the truth.

He looked at his royal father with question gaze as he asked.

"Royal Father, just what is the Wang family really? What kind of person is General Wang Shu Qing?"

Azure Botai sighed as he answered truthfully.

"The Wang family is not an entity that even I, your Royal Father know, son. This family used to be one of our Kingdom's prominent military family, but now it is an entity that has an identity that I cannot hope to peer in."

Azure Ling was still confused as he asked. "Are they not still a prominent military of our Kingdom today? Is General Wang Shu Qing not a member of the Wang family in our Azure Skies Kingdom?"

Azure Botai once again shook his head before explaining:

"He is, in fact, the descendant of the Azure Skies Kingdom Wang family. But he left the Azure Skies Kingdom when the immediate members of the Wang family started dying. In the end, when he left, it was after the funeral of his mother.

"Wang Shu Qing was only fifteen when he left and when he returned, thirty years had passed. He came to the doorsteps of the Azure Skies Kingdom carrying with him the letter of his late father wishing for him to act as the guardian of the Kingdom for twenty years.

"The officials of the Kingdom said that he was lying and I thought so too. But he took out a scroll and said to me and officials present at that time: "This is a Heaven's Contract Scroll, if I sign a contract with you after making the appropriate promises, I will be bound by the contract to protect this country and never to betray it or I will die." Consequently, the contract can only be severed by either me or if enough time had passed.

"We signed the contract and Wang Shu Qing became the General of the southern borders. He protected our lands for years from all kind of forces without complain. The reason why I am telling you this is because of the contract we signed."

Azure Botai finally ended his little tale and looked at his son seriously. What he had just told him was the life story of Wang Shu Qing, and it had already answered Azure Lin's question, but why was he suddenly bringing up the contract?

"The contract I signed with General Wang Shu Qing was not a normal piece of paper as it contained the laws of heaven and earth. I heard that the contract we used that day is only obtainable in the central region of our Celestial Spirit Realm."

"Central Region!!?"

Azure Lin shouted as he was surprise to know the truth. Azure Botai on the other hand kept calm and continued explaining.

"He came from the Central Region and the people of the central regions are all monsters that can eradicate our Azure Skies Kingdom with a wave of a hand. If he came from there that means he was able to contend with the people who dwells in there and return.

"Even if he was not able to contend there, he can also be an expert that can rival the Piercing Heaven Empire."

Azure Lin finally managed to grasp what his father meant when he said that the Wang family was not a family he can hope to peer into. Wang Shu Qing did indeed came back to the Kingdom for the legacy of his family but he came here to serve the will his father left him.

Southern Borders, Southern Garrison.

A shrill and piercing cry of a bird was heard. This alerted the soldiers and thought that it was an enemy attack. They all went outside ready to defend their camp. Tens of thousands of pinnacle-sky root stage expert suddenly came out.

However, before they can make a move, a majestic voice echoed in the southern borders.

"Don't move! That is my pet, you rascals go back to training."

The voice came from the General's tent. A man wearing ordinary clothing that even soldiers of the southern garrison rarely wear appeared. The man look young, and looked like he was in his late twenties.

He somewhat resembled both Wang Ling and Wang Hong. A good 60% for Wang Ling and a good 80% for Wang Hong. This man was clearly the Wang brother's father, General Wang Shu Qing.

He raised his head and saw the Silver Emperor Swallow.

"Come down here." the Silver Emperor Swallow then landed on his palm.

The Silver eEmperor Swallow was the size of an ordinary swallow so it managed to fit on his palms. However comparing it to an ordinary swallow would be disgraceful.

Its silver feathers were simply too exquisite to become an ordinary bird and its pointy black beak was too dangerous. The three feathers that stuck up its head also made it look like a King of birds, a being that stand above most fling type being.

This bird was no bird, it was a genuine Spirit Beast.

Wang Shu Qing saw a letter was tied in the Silver Emperor Swallow. He took it and started reading its content.

After only reading two of its lines. A heaven toppling aura burst out of his body and the ground beneath his feet form a deep depression. His veins started popping out of his temples as he look up to the sky and roared.

"DEMON BLOOD CULT!! YOU DARE TOUCH MY SON!!???"

General Wang Shu Qing has also been enraged.
