Epic Of Caterpillar Chapter 460

Thunder fell from the sky as Brontes shined brightly in yellow, her size changed, becoming a titaness, towering several meters in the sky, glancing at Dalia like a supreme sovereign.
Oga also became a giant, although not as big as Brontes, she reached at least seven meters.
A Thunder Cyclops Titan and a Blaze Oni Giant, Dalia glanced at them with a baffled expression.
"What…?! How is it possible?! How can they become so big?! Weren't they a cyclops and an oni?!" shouted Dalia, completely overwhelmed by the pressure put into her.
"What's wrong? Now you're the little one~" laughed Oga.
"Geggoron, I will make sure that you will suffer a painful death," said Brontes, with a serious and intimidating glare of her single eye. She still harbored the immense grudge against this Demon Demigod, as he had tried to attack Vudia through her dreams.
Both titanesses ran through the battlefield and fought against Dalia, whose small body jumped and evaded with incredible agility while using her claws and ice projectiles to inflict shallow wounds into them.
Brontes caught her in the air and smashed her like a baseball ball through the air using her club, Oga rushed through the battlefield like a meteor and intercepted her with a powerful kick.
Clash! Clash!
Pieces of its ice and flesh exploded through the air, Dalia's body was already completely deformed and near death.
"Y-You pathetic worms, stop at once!!!"
Geggoron's split soul began to become desperate, releasing all of its Nightmarish Divinity Aura and harboring it inside its host, forcibly mutating Dalia into a grotesque humanoid monster made out of the head of a Lioness with crimson eyes and several tentacle-like limbs with the tips of lion claws.
"RAAA! I am not going to fall to you, ridiculous titans! Inferior caste of demi-humans! Induce Nightmare! Nightmarish Dark Blaze! Horrible Nightmare! Painful Nightmare!" shouted Geggoron.
"Not so fast, scum!" shouted Brontes, raising her club.
Geggoron's split soul released multiple Nightmare Techniques and Spells in hopes of inflicting large amounts of damage to Brontes and Oga, however, they used their weapons, which were infused with 'Divinity Devouring' to easily destroy Geggoron's Divine Energy-charged attacks.
"Ghh! Another one with Divinity Devouring?! Impossible! How can Kireina share such a skill with you?!" shouted Geggoron, bewildered.
Trying to use Dalia's skills, Geggoron raised the tentacle-like limbs made out of dark ice and smashed them against Oga, who was the smallest one, hoping for her to get out of the fight so it could handle things better against Brontes.
Clash! Clash! Clash!
"Gahahaha! That is what I like, come!" shouted Oga.
Oga received the attacks with great fervor, her entire body blazing like a volcano, she defended with her club and her free hand, melting the dark ice into a black soup, and making it boil into steam in mere seconds. Her punches penetrated Geggoron's split soul directly, as even her flesh was infused with Divinity Devouring through the help of the hidden Slime Clones of Kireina that were assisting her wives.
"Ggugehh…?! T-This pain, even her punches are inflicting- UGH?!"
Geggoron, alongside the pain from Oga's blows that he was desperately blocking with its limbs, felt the blossoming of yet another excruciating pain on the back of its icy body, Brontes covered her fists into gauntlets made out of thunder, which she used to slash and penetrate the grotesque being's flesh and impact Geggoron's split soul real existence below it. Then, using her Aura as if it were a third limb, she raised her club and used it to pierce the open wounds!

"W-Wait…! W-WAIT! WA- UGHH…!"
"Die, you fiend! I hope that you can realize in hell how much of a giant mistake you committed by messing with my beloved daughter, you piece of shit! Thunder Rampage! Thunder Rampage! Thunder Rampage!" shouted Brontes, completely losing her coolness as she smiled insanely, she activated the 'Thunder Rampage' Technique inside of Geggoron's split soul entire existence. Thunder shocks capable of devouring him crossed all over his soul!
"GGYYYYYYYAAAAAAA!"
The pain was incommensurable compared to anything else, Geggoron's split soul mind began to fragment endlessly losing its entire self and only having suffering. Oga smiled as she raised her fist and gave this split soul a bit of her parting gift as well!
"Ifrit's Hellish Punishment! Volcano Eruption Fists!"
Her fist suddenly became like those of the legendary Fire Demon ifrit, covered in hard red scales, smashing the soul out of this Geggoron pawn with blows that were as strong as exploding volcanoes.
Clash! Clash!
"GRAAAAAAA!"
Geggoron's split soul could not even activate any artifact before it exploded through the thunder and blazing flames entering its entire existence!
BOOM!
His pieces of divinity, lacking any consciousness fell over the ground like small meteors, creating large crates over the paved streets of the Moonfang's capital.
Brontes then relaxed her tensed up muscles and released a sigh of relief.
"Sigh… I need a warm bath," she said.
"Brontes nee-sama is very scary when she gets angry… I would never want to get into her bad side…" muttered Oga.
Brontes and Oga then went back to their original sizes and both girls, which were packed in muscles, began to stretch, and relax their bodies while collecting the pieces of divinity spread around, resembling dark-colored broken glass.
Oga's stomach growled fiercely as they did so.
"Ah, I'm hungry… producing so much fire really takes a lot of calories," said Oga.
"I can tell… I am hungry as well, I got some bento boxes saved in my Item Box, let us have a quick rest, there is some green tea as well," said Brontes with a gentle smile, taking out the food.
"Ah! Brontes nee-sama, you're so nice!" said Oga, hugging her.
"Didn't you just said I was scary?" asked Brontes.
"Gah…! Brontes nee-sama, you heard me?!"

Dalia and her large Geggoron's Split Soul: deceased.
Cause of Death; Had its soul and flesh filled with Fire and Thunder capable of destroying his Divinity until it exploded like a balloon.
-----
As I fought against Lionel with the help of Rimuru with my first body, I decided to explore Moonfang's castle with my second body. I felt as if something that harbored a large amount of energy was being stored down below.
Could it be some kind of magic technology device? But even so, why did it give me this strange feeling? I had to check by myself.
As of now, all of the citizens had already evacuated from the capital, but there were still some people remaining down below, as I felt their presence.
Could they be the cult of Geggoron? Might as well kill them right now.
I flew through the castle, descending the different floors and reaching the underground…
Blasting away the doors that crossed in my path, I found myself in the middle of a cold and damp underground dungeon of some kind, although it was a man-made one, and didn't created monsters, neither had near-indestructible bricks or anything.

As I went through the long corridors, I found several monstrosities trapped inside cages, some were less refined than others and some others seemed like experiments that Redgaria would come out with.
Using my stealth, I erased my entire presence and walked through the area, there were around a hundred cultists kneeling and worshiping a statue of Geggoron… it resembled a black cloud with fleshy tentacles and a large crimson eye.
Wait, statue?
When I glanced at it well enough, I discovered that it was not really a statue, it was some kind of mini Geggoron! How lucky, time for lunch.
The small Geggoron had somehow descended to the surface, presumably, it was a split soul that was possessing a monstrosity with a similar appearance to its original one.
There was a table ahead of it were several people were sleeping, this small Geggoron was feeding on their nightmares, which showed themselves as black clouds.
Was this a backup plan for Geggoron if I were to defeat the royal family?
Surprisingly enough, not even the small Geggoron noticed my presence yet, so I swiftly walked towards it and expanded by camouflaged hands, shaping them as sharp blades made out of bones. Charging it with 'Divinity Devouring' I unleashed my attack.
Slash!
"GEH!"
The small Geggoron was sliced in half as it fell to the ground, the black liquid seeping from its body as it slowly regenerated back while shrieking in agony.
The cultist quickly realized that I was there, and instantly transformed into grotesque monsters filled with tentacles or covered in exoskeletons, attacking me.
"An intruder! Kill her!"
"Kill her!"
"She dared attack Geggoron-sama little offspring!"
"Kill! Kill! Kill!"
"Little offspring? Just what is going on in here?! I want some answers, you lowly pawns!" I shouted, shapeshifting my body into countless tentacles wielding bone or horn blades, instantly killing most of the monstrosities cultist before they could ever put a scratch on me.
Their bodies were sliced into pieces, blood flowing everywhere as their flesh tainted the eerie room with the smell of fresh meat and blood, I got even hungrier by then, so I began to eat a bunch with a tail that I shapeshifted as a dragon's head.
The rest were immobilized with my threads as I multitasked and began to brainwash them and extract all of their memories, while I also went and grabbed on the struggling 'Mini Geggoron' with a tongue-like sticky tentacle.
"Gyaan! Gagagarah! Graaggh! You lowly mortal, you scum! How dare you slice me in half!" shouted the little Geggoron.
"Shut up," I said, enveloping it into my tentacle, it was weakened since I sliced it in half, and I covered it in seals charged with 'Divinity Devouring', the more it struggled the more it would be eaten.
As I gathered the memories of the cultists, I realized what was Geggoron trying to do…
"So by experimenting with monstrosities and mutated citizens he was trying to create a new race that could be used as a 'perfect mortal vessel' for him…?"
"Oh? To think that you have such potential, little one!"
"Gnn! Nggahag!"
Although Geggoron has brainwashed entire Kingdoms by now, he has not been capable of finding a perfect vessel capable of resisting the Divine Energy of his Divinity without becoming a crazed monster similar to a fallen god, which stop being classified as mortal…
What Geggoron wants is a special vessel which he can use to completely merge with, and be capable of learning many mortal skills that are seen as 'forbidden' or 'impossible to obtain' for Gods, such as my beloved 'Divinity Devouring', 'Dungeon Snatch', 'Life Enmity' and so on.
It seems that after the existence of such skills was spread through the Gods from the information that the God of the Forsaken Labyrinth obtained by observing my status, a lot of gods are trying to obtain such 'perfect mortal vessel' to obtain these skills and become even stronger than gods themselves.
There was even a small fragment of info about a Demigod that already managed to do that… Zudig, the Dragon Zombie Demigod of Rotten Desires… he even managed to get Divinity Devouring and Dungeon Snatch…
"So this little Geggoron was one of the better experiments? Though it still growing, it seems to be almost perfect… Geggoron, are you seeing this?"
Suddenly, a black, nightmarish blaze appeared from within an altar, with a single crimson eye, it was a lesser astral projection of Geggoron.
"You worm! Leave my vessel at once! I have worked so hard to finally obtain such an advanced specimen! Stop your foolishness!" shouted Geggoron, enraged.
"It is nice to meet you in person again, well, not in person, but to talk with the 'main body'…" I said.
"Shut up! Don't you dare eat it, the work of many years…!"
"Oh? The work of many years…? Let's see… if you're so desperate to obtain it, why don't you give up Moonfang and Sunclaw, alongside taking out your split souls from their vessels, put them inside a bottle so I can eat them easily and go away? I might give it to you by then!" I said.
"What? Do you think I am stupid?! How can I trust you?! Give it to me!" shouted Geggoron.
"Ah, well, if you don't care then…"
"Give it to me!!! GRAAA!"
Geggoron, who was in a weak ethereal form tried to attack me with its blazing body, but I expanded my Aura and blocked his attack as if it were a fly.
I grabbed the monstrosity that was going to be his vessel with my tentacles and opened my mouth wide open, breaking it apart into a grotesque form, making sure to show him all of my hundreds of sharp teeth.
"W-Wait! Noo!" shouted Geggoron.
"Gyaan! Gyaann!" cried little Geggoron, it was completely wrapped in my tentacles so it couldn't spit a word, but it was just as badmouthed as his original body.
"Chomp!"
I consumed the monstrosity with my mouth and triturated its entire body with 'Divinity Devouring'. Unlike other Split souls, this one had a delicious flesh, which tasted similar to a mix between an octopus and red beef.
"You damned worm! How dare you?! How dare you?! My vessel! I will destroy you! I will make sure to destroy you and your entire Empire! I won't rest until everything you hold dear is destroyed!!!" raged Geggoron.
"Ah, shut up. You started this, hypocrite. I will just eat you first," I said, expanding my Aura and devouring his ethereal avatar.
"W-What…?! Uughh…! Nnnggyaaa...!"
It seems that he felt some kind of pain before banishing.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…
