The clear blue sky and the yellow sun illuminated the floors as a calm breeze carried the scent of earth and minerals exuded from the within the mountains. I glanced at the large peaks, wondering if there could be precious resources inside of them.
If there was, then we could constantly mine these places for such precious materials, and due to the power of the dungeon, it would regenerate after some days, creating an almost endless amount of resources in this way.
Although the possibility of it working as I expect would be dim, especially because I had to consider how old this dungeon was, seeing how in previous floors, the dungeon rooms were all open wide, doors destroyed and even Bosses roamed freely, without being imprisoned in their respective rooms.
By using Dungeon Area Assimilation, I manipulated the mountains, which were part of the dungeon, and created long bridges that connected to faraway mountains.
All of the floors of this biome were connected in this large place, and as one descended through the mountains, we would arrive in new 'floors', although this would be impossible to tell for most people, but the Dungeon Map created with Automatic Dungeon Mapping, indicated us whenever we descended into a new floor.
The monster became fiercer as we reached floor 37, giant wyverns with rocky scales and long wings flew through the skies, conjuring Earth Magic and showering us with truck-sized boulders. There were large serpent-like Lesser Dragons named Wurms, however, they weren't serpents and did not possess venom, but enough strength to strangle a Giant to death.
And whenever we approached a small River or Ponds naturally created, there would be Lesser Water Dragons, in the form of long snakes with several heads, they were a sub-species of Hydra that used their multiple heads to shoot bullets made of concentrated water pressure, being able to penetrate steel with ease.
"Boulder Demon Smash!" roared Lilith, using her new strength after evolving into an Oni-type Chaos Human, unleashing a powerful blow with her massive hammer in the form of a Weapon Art.
Smash!
The immense weight and force brought upon her attack made the giant Wurm head explode like a watermelon, Lilith's body was covered in the crimson red of blood as she leaped out towards another Wurm, who tried to run away after seeing its companion die without even leaking a shriek of agony.
"Screeech!"
"Where are you going, little snake?! Consecutive Rock Slices!"
Using her other arm, Lilith raised her large Battle-Axe, releasing a series of consecutive slices made out of powerful energy, cutting the wind itself, the slices reached the Wurm's hard scales, cutting them as if they were butter, and penetrating through its flesh and bones, its head was severed in a matter of seconds, a river of blood sprayed around, intimidating the other Beasts that thought that they could have a chance against us.
"Gruooooohh!"
A group of five Earth Wyverns flew around the skies, conjuring Earth Magic together, and generating large truck-sized boulders.
"Golden Net!"
"Demonic Shield!"
Vudia and Acelina teamed up, generating a large net of pure gold which caught up most boulders, while the other created a large shield made out of Dark and Shadows, blocking the boulders while absorbing them with giant dark tentacles.
"Greeh?!" screamed a Wyvern, as the boulders were then shot back to them with even more force, Vudia's ones were covered in gold now, while Acelina enhanced them with her Dark magic.
"Ohohoho! My dear guest, please, take these as parting gifts~!"
"Woah, Aunt Acelina is so devilish now!"

"I know, right? Ohoho~"
The giant boulders flew like bullets, destroying the wyvern's bodies, tearing them apart into pieces of meat.
From within an obscure cave, a dark-colored Lesser Dragon appeared, opening its mouth to release a powerful Dark Breath.
However, it met its destiny before it could even unleash an attack, as Charlotte flew towards it with her giant Magic Cannon, releasing a ray of multiple colors and vaporizing the Dragon entirely.
After evolving into a Chaos Human, Charlotte gained a new and flexible body and was capable of caring around her large Magic Cannon like nothing while leaping around thanks to her weapon's skill, [Weightless].
"Hmm~ These monsters are too weak, every single one of them gets instantly vaporized with my Cannon, how can I even try its effectiveness? If there was a Boss with some more endurance…" said Charlotte, as she leaped around, releasing more beams of concentrated magic energy, leaving giant holes in the Boulder Dragons while smaller dragons were reduced to ashes.
As we were near a River, large Hydras showed up, leaping from within the water, and opening their large mouths, releasing dozens of waters pressured bullets.
"Grryaaaah! Geeh?!"
However, Alice and Brontes appeared from behind them, combining their magic into a large shock of electricity, the river was then electrified, the Hydras were boiled alive.
"Aah~ It's so boring in this dungeon" complained Alice, bored about the easy prey.
"Alice, we aren't here to just have some fun, there is a mission that we must fulfill… also, duck"
"Huh?" Alice obeyed Brontes as she sensed the presence of something behind her, ducking and then seeing a large and thick scaled tail trying to sweep her into the air.
"Thundering Fist!"
Clash!
Brontes received it with her own fists, the force was so high that the tail itself broke into pieces, revealing bones and blood.
"Screeeeech!" roared the fiend that was sneaking around, a large Wurm whose scales were covered in colorful tones, a Dark Shadow Wurm. These monsters hide their presence almost completely behind other shadows, only to leap towards them with their muscular tails to smash them to death.
Alice stood up and with thunder enhancing her beautiful dark heels, she jumped through the air and released a series of strokes with her scarlet rapier. Crimson Thunder which combined both Blood and Thunder Attribute rained over the Wurm, its body being both sliced and grilled at the same time, not even a shriek of agony was allowed as it died instantly.
"See? Don't low your guard" said Brontes, resting her club over her large and muscular shoulder.
"Well, even if it were to hit me, I wouldn't have died anyways, perhaps my dress would have gotten a little bit nastier…" said Alice, cleaning the dust accumulated in her gothic-styled dress.
"What? Alice, you have a baby in your womb, don't be so careless"
"Ah… that is true, I'm sorry then"
Meanwhile, Oga and Kaguya teamed up, Kaguya transforming into her savage and feral form, covering her claws and feet into blue flames and leaping towards the Wyverns and Lesser Dragons, while Oga jumped towards them with her large body and fists, using her bare hands to smash the hard scaled monsters bones and making them vomit crimson blood in large quantities.
"Rwaarr! Azure Flames Claws!" roared Kaguya, slashing a giant Lesser Dragon who came from bellow her, opening its wide jaws to gulp her down only to receive an immense amount of heat and burns inside of its mouth and throat, roaring in agony.
"GRRYAAAARR…!"
"Kaguya, behind you! Blaze Warrioress Palm!" shouted Oga, alerting Kaguya, who quickly moved aside from her attack, a giant Dark Wurm appeared from within the shadows of the now burned alive Lesser Dragon, its head was smashed into pieces by an unyielding flame released from Oga's palms, that took the form of her hands.

"GRUOOOHH…!"
As these battles happened, a large, skyscraper-sized Wind Dragon appeared, with the long body of a snake and small arms, it manipulated the wind to fly around, creating a storm whenever it moved.
Its jaws opened and its emerald eyes shined in bright green light, releasing a Wind Breath in the form of an emerald tornado, only for it to be intercepted by a mysterious force and get sent back to it.
The Dragon quickly realized this as it moved away from the attack, opening its eyes wide while inspecting the one who sent back its own breath.
Altani floated in the air as she raised her Lance, her coral-like emerald horns and scales shined brightly, after evolving into a Chaos Human, her magical potency was increased by leaps forward, now being capable of manipulating large amounts of wind attribute mana.
She flew at an incredible speed, faster than a bullet as she raised her lance over the top of her head, resembling a thin needle, the Dragon was not capable of intercepting her attack in time, being impaled by Altani's incredible speed, the force of her attack penetrated the Dragon's chest, its organs were sliced into pieces and the emerald wind released by her lance made the dragon inflate like a balloon, exploding in the air.
"Fuuh… I didn't think that such a reckless charge would have worked, but it seems that that Dragon lacked experience in combat" she said, flying towards a group Fire Wyverns that had appeared from a nearby mountain.
Before Altani could intercept the Wyverns, a giant purple-colored Battle-Axe was launched towards them as if it were a projectile, spinning crazily with a supernatural force, the Wyverns couldn't even fly away before they were sliced instantly, the Battle-Axe then flew back to its wielder, Nesiphae, who gave a small devilish giggle.
"Fufufu, this Technique is very useful for long-ranged attacks, I never thought that I would ever launch my Axe towards my enemies, how wonderful~! Axe-Launch!" she said, as she once again launched her Axe towards another small Wyvern group, this time Thunder Wyverns, who controlled storms and lightning.
The Axe flew through the skies, due to its sheer size, weight, and power, it easily cut through the air itself. The Thunder Wyverns tried to defend themselves by creating a large quantity of electric power and sending it back, however, the Battle-Axe completely ignored such attack, hastily approaching the flying beasts and cutting them into pieces.
"Hey, Nesiphae, leave some for me, could you? Earth Needles!" said Nixephine, as she conjured a magic spell that controlled the earth itself, the mountain trembled and created giant spikes that impaled the Boulder Dragons that surrounded her.
We have come across an area which was mostly unexplored by the Dragon Centaurs, due to this, they hadn't hunted as much and the monsters had created countless hideouts and multiplied freely, there wasn't any spawn artifact at all, but the sheer quantity of monsters made it look like those monster waves that we had to fight off in the Forsaken Labyrinth.
I was currently using Zehe, Rimuru, and Nanako's help to create a powerful force of magic and Telekinetic power, destroying everything inside a nearby mountain, the telekinetic forces and the magic forces clashed against each other, making the mountain explode into boulders while the smashed corpses inside drained over us.
"Hmm, it is rather convenient that all the monster lives inside these mountains, we can just fill them up with spells and telekinetic power until they explode, giving us a vast amount of Experience Points" analyzed Zehe.
"Indeed… But I don't think this is our goal, Zehe-san…" said Nanako, as she used her Psychic Powers generated from her eyes to create telekinetic barriers around us with ease.
"Guuu… seeing so many corpses really make me hungry… Masta, can we stop and eat some?" asked Rimuru, as she drooled while looking at the bloody and fleshy pieces of meat scattered around.
"Rimuru, we stopped like three times already, we still need to find the Ryuji- Oh, there they are"
"Guu?"
As the mountain exploded, the surrounding monsters were so scared that most managed to run away, while the others were so frightened that they were killed with even more ease. At the same time, I was able to glance far away, where a group of small flying dragons was fighting a large horde of Wind Dragons and Rock, Fire, and Thunder Wyverns.
I was able to detect them through my increased senses, Dungeon Map, and the sight given to me by my Mystic Eyes.
A mountain exploding really did make them scared, but the Dragons and Wyverns seemed fierce nonetheless and were trying to hastily get rid of their enemies.
The smaller dragons were the Ryujin, who manipulated the wind masterfully, working together to create a giant barrier of wind, while also generating spear-shaped wind projectiles, constantly launching them towards their invaders.
Sofelaia and Sofarpia who were close by glanced at the scene that I showed me through the Dungeon Map, and immediately realized that they were having a very hard time.
"Master, those must be the East Dragon Centaur, the Ryujin!"
"I know, everyone lets gather!"
I called all of my children and wives as they quickly flew and ran towards us, gathering once again, I shapeshifted into a Giant Metallic Dragon with five heads, six wings, and four tails, with a size as large as a skyscraper. They quickly jumped over and with the help of Nanako, Zehe, and Rimuru's abilities, they formed a bubble created with magic and psychic power, sitting comfily over my lap as I flew at max speed.
In a matter of seconds, we reached the area of conflict, where a large group of Dragons and Wyverns were trying to invade and destroy the East Dragon Centaur settlement, the Ryujin was tired and seemed desperate.
Our sudden appearance didn't help, as they shrieked in fear over the large behemoth, who they thought was the Boss of these beasts.
"W-What is that?!"
"A-A Giant Dragon!"
"So many heads, wings, and tails…!"
"We are done for!"
"it's even blocking the sun…!"
"Run! Run while you can!!!"
However, instead of I using my giant body to smash their entire settlement as they thought I would do, I twisted my tails and shapeshifted their tips into the heads of dragons, wolves, and wyverns, devouring the surrounding monsters that seemed to be as scared as the Ryujin over the sudden appearance of a thing they had never seen in their lives.
Crunch!
Crunch!
"GRYYAAAARR…!"
"GROOOOWWL!"
The Dragons roared in anger and agony, their brethren began to be devoured mercilessly while my family that sat down on my back combined their magic, generating powerful rays of magic towards the dragons that thought that they were tough enough to confront me.
The Ryujin stopped running and glanced with horror the scene unfolds.
As more Dragons and Wyverns were eaten and torn apart, the clouds above began to tremble and release powerful wind and shockwaves. A giant serpent-like dragon appeared, showing it's large ahead above us.
It was at least ten times larger than the Wind Dragon that Altani killed, its head was as large as a mountain, and its golden eyes released sparks of lightning constantly.
"T-That's…!"
"So that's the thing behind the raid!"
"The Life Dragon King of Thunderstorms!"
"The Boss of floor 39, it ascended towards our floor?! It hasn't happened for years!"
"Don't worry, that dragon, that metallic dragon is on our side!"
"B-But… will it be able to beat such a behemoth…?"
"Let us pray to Morpheus-sama and Tiamat-sama…"
Judging by their words, this is the Boss of Floor 39, a nice meal to celebrate that we finally found yet another of Morpheus's lost children.
"GRRRROOOOOOWWLLL…!"
The large dragon moved alongside its thunderstorm clouds, roaring like a tyrant, and ordering the Dragons and Wyverns on its command to recklessly give up their lives to attack us.

Mana Soul
Like many others across the multiverse, Markus was chosen as this world's hero to fight against the steadily approaching cataclysm. Only, something went horribly wrong. Left with only a handful of memories, Markus has spent years clawing his way up from poverty and officially registered as an adventurer to try and make his fortune. Unfortunately, Artificers are the least combat-capable class of the four classes, and Markus has no connections to join an established party. With the fate of countless worlds hanging in the balance, a chance meeting will determine the course of a war nearly as old as reality itself. Warning: Markus has trauma induced amnesia and will occasionally 'act out of character' or make 'poorly thought out' decisions. These events are rather obvously telegraphed abd represent conflicts between his current personality and the one repressed alongside his trauma. Just something to bear in mind. The story will bounce predominantly back and forth between the primary protagonists every couple of chapters. The time stream is linear, so events are not revisted/rehashed/retold through the narrative format. Characters may comment on something that has occurred, but that's different. Just giving a heads up.Chapters will be around 7-9k and updated 1/week on the same schedule as my other story Ogre Tyrant over the weekend.[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
